General Info

I want to ask the experts for their summaries and opinions of lounging and relaxation in FKKs. This follows up recent posts regarding World, in particular, being larger than most FKKs and having areas where (in theory) one could read a book or nap. There was also a discussion about being woken by girls, perhaps inappropriately, but that's another matter.

Disclaimer: I realize that a hard-core FKK visit might be 6+ hours without really needing much of a break. Fine, no problem, but that's not the niche I'm aiming at here.

I'm interested in being able to relax and spend a whole day, opening to 10 PM, say. Or even leave and come back (if there were a good restaurant close to the FKK), if re-entry policy permitted it: a plus. Outdoor area with pool, chairs, tables: a plus. Indoor areas with couches that don't need to be 100% action, all the time: a plus. Low-pressure vs high-pressure approaches from the girls: a plus. Helpful attitude of the management in this respect: a plus. Good food: a plus.

Small, emphasis (or explicit emphasis) on business, volume: a minus. Bad food: a minus. No outdoor area: a minus. You get the idea.

It goes unstate that the girls constitute a potential plus/minus in the debate, but that is well-covered in 90% of the posts out there, and doesn't need to be explicit here unless exceptionally good or bad.

Given those guidelines, I'll start a list here with two examples of what I've gleaned, and hopefully others will cut-paste-and-add. This is not first-hand information, so please correct me if I make mistakes:

1. World: one of the biggest, an old mansion. Indoor pool and sauna in the basement, with reasonable changes to relax, read (even nap) if not woken by a girl (see recent posts on that front). Food: mixed reviews -- I almost said "not the greatest" but looking one or two posts back there was a positive review. Outdoor area good, better than average.

2. Berndts: smaller, not much outdoors, but good food, and the girls are completely dedicated to service and respectful of privacy (deserving of special mention on that front). I gather someone reading someplace wouldn't be disrupted unnecessarily, but this is speculation based on the wide range of glowing reports. It might be difficult given the size. This is perhaps a "must do" on anyone's FKK tour, but perhaps not near the top of the list for a more relaxing visit?

I've spent the entire day at several clubs without too much of a problem....10am to 3am'ish. Having a book is a good thing to bring along...so is a mp3 player. Also found beef jerky to be a good investment in case the food isn't there when you need a snack. Also for the guys thinking of doing an fkk tour...don't overpack. A carry on bag is all you should need...you'll be wearing a towel or a robe most of the trip anyway.

Goldentime: Several places to grab some down time...outside couch's that have heaters by them if its a bit chilly (and blankets). Inside by the sauna are 2 lounge chairs that give you a place to chill out. Food is a bit iffy...sometimes its great, other times you wish you had food delivered like some of the girls do. Plenty of beer handy...at the bar or self serve outside...police are known to check to see if people have been drinking...but there are plenty of hotels in the area so a cheap cab ride/walk solves this issue.

Oase: The one sauna has 3 lounge chairs available, at times though these get taken. Plenty of places outdoors (some even with shade) in the warmer month's. Food always seemed available and pretty decent during a trip last May (outdoor grilling)...but the new setup with the food behind the bar just doesn't cut it...especially when the bartender is busy grabbing other people drinks. Your sorta out in the sticks...can't think of anything you could walk to for this club.

Finca: Many places to grab a nap or relax...indoor area has several nooks here and there, one under the stairs that im sure nobody would even notice and probably lock you in the club when it closed. Outdoors didn't see much shade...so falling asleep puts you at risk for sunburn. Food was pretty decent...even some good deserts. And they restock around 10pm for the nighttime happy hour rush. So if you miss the dinner here, you have more coming. Club is right in the downtown area...and ive been told the management will let you leave and re-enter if you need to get some fresh air and return later with more energy.

PHG: Don't think there's one area inside the club where you can take a nap...and outdoors is just the pool area (rain or cold weather and your stuck inside). Food was pretty good, went back for seconds and thirds no problem. Negative is the beer and not having a hotel closeby....drink too much and reports are the police are waiting.

Samya: I view this club as a 'rainy day' club...and even then will only visit if its at the end of the week. Not much of an outdoor area at all...its the tent in the picture on their website. And even if you want to get some fresh air, bet you'll be hard pressed to find the doors leading out. Food is usually pretty decent and they grill outside under the tent when its warm outside. You can grab a nap downstairs by the showers, several lounge chairs there for people to use for that reason...and you might even see a cutie taking a shower in front of you while you relax. Self service beer inside...and some hotels reasonably closeby (and public transportation as well).

This subject really piques my interest. My gig is that since I am there on business, I might as well take advantage of my free time and I'd be an all dayer, especially since I need time between pops.

Food...the key is food! (and sex, but there is plenty of stuff about that here)

A bit of advice?

I'm thinking about satying in the Mercure Hotel in Bad Homburg, as it is close to Oase and right on the highway to World.

Good choice? Better selections? For $78 Euros on a pre book for 2 days it seems good

That was a nice summary by breadman of the hangout options at various clubs. Also to be added:

Golden Time: when the food is crappy, you can ask the people at the reception desk to order for you. I've done this twice and both times have opted for Chinese takeout from this restaurant just down the main road (corner of B221 and St Barbarastrasse).

Living Room: you can also ask receptionist to order for you. This is a good club to stretch your night after spending your day at GT. You pay reduced entry fee at LR, the club is open until 3AM, you squeeze in one or two more fucks, drink as much beer as you want, and walk or crawl if necessary to the hotel less than 20 feet across the street from the club.

- OBG[/QUOTE]World is the best club to spend 12-16 hours in. I have been woken by women @ all the clubs I visited (World, Oase, GT, Palace) so plan on taking short power naps. I have only spent more that 12 hours @ World, Oase & palace. Some small snacks is very important @ Oase & Palace as their food is gone by 10pm & you will be running on fumes until 4-5am.

I stayed there just last month. Just fine, BUT the price you quote on a pre-book and pre-pay goes up as the date nears.

BTW, I've found each and every club I've visited with Google maps printouts. I wouldn't pay for a GPS.

Just to add my $.02.

I have done all day-ers at Oase, Bernd's, GT and Artemis- found plenty to do. I can't believe that some of you bring books and iPods. You get bored watching gorgeous naked female pulchtritude? I also firmly believe that your observations and interactions with other guests and/or the SP are key to getting a good experience. Shutting yourself out and signaling that you're not interested in interacting with the other inhabitants of this unique ecosystem, will also effect the way that they relate to you, SP included.

I don't particularly like the food at any of the clubs, so I won't iclude my assessment of the food options in my rating. Of the large clubs here's my take:
Hesse 3: World with its 2 levels and great outdoor area would be the best of the clubs to chill all day. Oase has a great outdoor area but less indoor chill possibilities, although I like the lounge chairs near the new jacuzzi. I have on occasion taken 2 extra towels with me into the Oase kino, laid down, covered myself and slept like a baby without Romanian or other interruption. Oase also has that nice "treehouse" where you can really be alone. Palace would be the worst of the Hesse 3 for chilling out with no outdoor area and few indoor places to get lost in, although the sauna/hammam area is a very relaxing space.

NRW: I agree that GT is probably the best for this, although Villa Vertigo from initial reports seem to be promising (I haven't been so I can't say). PHG is nice in the summer months. Living Room is relatively small, but it has a nice realx area on the lower level where the sauna and jaccuzzi are located. I agree with the previous comments re Bernd's. You can sit and relax, but forget about finding a corner for yourself or reading a book. At a club like this, interaction is a key to your experience.

Others:
*Artemis- Well appointed indoor facility with lots of places to chill and the downstairs relax area around the pool is nice, but there's no outdoor area which is a serious shortcoming. But it does have a small fitness room to eh burn off some calories.
*Harem (Bad Lippspringe)- Pack your running shoes and sunscreen. Very nice facility with 5 different steam and sauna rooms, lots of places to chill, a "restaurant", a kino room that no one uses, a computer game room and a real fitness room with a couple of treadmills, weight equipment, etc. It's all situated on 3 sides around a nice outdoor swimming pool wth lounge chairs and beach umbrellas that looks like a 5 star hotel. Now if only they had some more good SP...
*Colosseum- The public area is basically one big room, so you can pretty much forget getting away and being by yourself. You can sit by yourself in one of the corners and they would probably leave you alone. No real outdoor area.

I think the same. If I lived in Germany and had to attend e.g. family dinner I would settle for two or three quick ones in the club during a few hours, but as a tourist not much else to do than spend whole day at a club.

You can walk to Goldentime from any hotel in Bruggen in around 20 minutes, depending on where you stay. Most are only 1 mile from the club...

PHG on the other hand...no hotel within 3 miles. Meaning either you taxi it in or forgo drinking too much beer. I did drive when I visited...and found that the city of Oedt had blocked off a major street and rerouted traffic. Not wanting to drive back thru that construction after having had a few, I set my gps to take me a slightly longer and more scenic route back to my hotel (lets see you guys with your printed maps manage this at night).

And as to Oase...the comment was for clubs serving free beer. Since Oase doesn't serve free beer, the hotels distance away doesn't matter as much.

You have to admit, sometimes at 10am till about 3pm the pickings are pretty slim...and you don't want to rush off with the first available girl all the time. An ipod still lets you keep watch of the girls, some just like their soundtrack to the 'watching' to be different from the clubs choice of music. And lots of the girls get really turned on by a guy who's well read...kidding ;-)

I have found great luck in using priceline dot de for locating very nice and simple "bed and breakfast" type small places up and down A-5, a few miles off the highway, if you have a rental car. For instance, I am staying near Schresisheim this week for 29 euro per night including a great breakfast. There are quite a few of these "mom and pop" places. If you have to drive anyway, what's a few more miles. Plus this has let me try out lots of the places near here (lorsch/night-and-day, Weinheim/labyrinth, Karlsruke/Flamingo).

I am gonna make my first FKK tour in April. Thanks to you mongers there is plenty of information here, I have read a lot. Anyway, this is the plan I have prepared and would like to hear from you FKK experts.

Since I will be on vacation will have lots of time, as a whole will spent 18 days in Germany, but gonna visit some friends at the end of the trip. For P4P I have about 13 days, which seems plenty of time to me.

-Will land at Hahn airport and spend 4 days in Hessen, going to the "classic" FKKS- Oase, World and Palace, probably repeating Oase. I am aware of the days of the week in which girls wear undeawear so as I can avoid it. Gonna stay at Etap hotel in Offenbach, I am quite cheap about hotels, will be there exclusively to sleep. In this part of the trip I will be with a friend of mine who lives in Germany, with an rented car and a GPS and do not think will have any problems to get to the places.

- The second part of the trip, however, is gonna be rather different, I will be on my own, again with a car and a GPS and will be based in Nordrhein Weatfalen. I plan on going to the following clubs, one per day:
- Bernd's
- Samya
- Golden Time
- Planet Happy Garden
- Park Sauna
- Yin Yang in Holand
- Living Room

and may be if time allows- FKK Heavensgate in Dorsten


and also 3 Party Treffs to be chosen from the following:

-PartytreffMettman
-Partytreff Pit Stop in Münster
- PT Traumland
- Club Tabulous
- PT Krefeld
- PT Selm
- PT Dorsten

By the way, I speak no German at all, just English, Spanish and a little French.

My doubts:

- I do not like moving between hotels so I thought about staying during all this second part of the trip at an Etap Hotel near Dusseldorf-West Willich. Do you think it is wise to be based there to go by car to all these places or should I move around? Any other suggestion on cheap hotels?

- Which 3 partytreffs do you recomend,even if not listed here, in terms of cost/benefit and distance from Dusseldorf/Willich? Which days of the week are better to go/all pussy you can eat?

- Any other advice on this trip?

While doing the research for the trip, I came to this site [url]http://www.amigoautos.es/[/url] which I already knew from Spain and it turned out to be cheaper than Sixt. They hire cars also from Sixt in Germany but at a lower rate, it is a Spanish site but books cars from various agencies in almost all Europe.

The one week rate for economic cars like a Polo(not Smarts)is 189 euros, including LDW insurance and the airport/train station fee . Through the sixt site it costs about 250 euros, hope this will be of help.

In the second part of your trip, you may stay either in Etap Willich or in Etap Krefeld. But anyway, you should drive at least 40 km to Samya and some 70 km to Bernds and you should drive back the same distance to the hotel every night. It would be tiring for you after the sessions at the clubs.

The partytreffs are off topic but, the closest treffs in your lists are Krefeld, Club Tabulous (not a real PT) and Mettmann. Dorsten and Selm are at least 60 km away from your hotel, PitStop and Traumland are located north, in Munster which are 120 km away from Dusseldorf which makes it though going and return every day.
