Do not hesitate to go, you will find a girl that fits your preferences, there are plenty of choices and even better, less competition. There were no Japanese mongers, as they can not reenter their country without quarantine. I saw a good amount of Korean mongers. It is a buyers market. I just needed a rough estimate since I am deciding between visiting Philippines or go back to Colombia where I have been going for the last few years. If anyone else can give me a rough estimate I appreciate it.

Thanks for all the reports. I can't wait to get back to Angeles. I was last there 2 years ago, just when COVID hit and they were kicking foreigners out of the country. I had Pesos in my pocket, but couldn't find any girls.

Did anyone have trouble getting into the country? In other threads, people have complained about the confusing new system. I keep hoping they'll just end it, like Thailand and Indonesia (Bali) did. (correction: I think Bali still requires a PCR test)

In the Manila thread, some posters mentioned that hotels required the girls be vaccinated. Is that true in Angeles too? Seems like it would cut down on the FL pool.

However they have developed the OHP website where you must register yourself and upload your swab test results and proof of vax, and provide your Phils residence info. Unfortunately, you must register within the prior 24 hours of arrival now (not departure), which precludes anyone who has a 20-hour+ airline trip. Previously they required your OHP registration to be completed within 3 days prior to your departure, which wasn't too difficult. But if you can't start the OHP registration process until 24 hours prior to your arrival, many folk will not be allowed to board their flight out of the US / Canada, as their flight departs before the 24-hour window starts.

Imagine your flight departs the US, at 1 pm (Phils time) on Saturday, and arrives at 5 pm (Phils time) on Sunday (28 hours traveling; you have a long layover in HK or such). You can not start the OHP registration until 5 pm Saturday (the OHP website won't allow it). As you will be trying to check in at the US airport around 11 am Saturday (Phils time), the airline won't allow you to board because your OHP registration is not yet complete. You will miss your flight.

Columbia or Thailand might be better bets at this time.

Present a negative Reverse Transcription- Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test taken within forty-eight (48) hours, OR a negative Antigen test (not self-administered) taken within twenty-four (24) hours, prior to the date and time of departure from the country of origin / first port of embarkation in a continuous travel to the Philippines, excluding lay-overs; provided, that he / she has not left the airport premises or has not been admitted into another country during such lay-over.

It's amazing to read reports of young 18 to 19-year-old flat stomach stunners in the bars of Angeles, all I can say is they must be visiting a different Angeles city to the one I have lived and worked in over the last couple of decades.

It's also amazing to read how many are gullible enough to believe anything that comes out of the Mama's mouth especially when it comes to fresh girls, mostly when mamas tell me I have fresh girls today I have previously known the girls work in other bars of Angeles for multiple years, yes she might be fresh to that bar but definitely not to Angeles bars.

I also read that 60% of Angeles bars are now open, driving down perimeter most nights to go home after work out of the 100 odd bars on perimeter maybe a handful are open.

As for walking Street I would say it's four or five out of 10 open but some of the biggest and most popular bars of walking Street are still closed.

As far as covid passes to enter girls into one's hotel then it's probably 80% want to see a covid pass and about 20% do not care, best advice is just to ask before booking any hotel as to what the rules and regulations are.

As far as Koreans, yes over the last few weeks more Korean faces can be seen in Angeles bars and as per usual the girls flock to the Koreans first.

As in all Angeles bars there is a severe shortage of girls and even a bigger shortage of younger slim attractive girls, the first thing any bar owner friends say to me is please do you know of any girls that need a job I'm desperate for more girls, just take a look outside of 99% of bars, big signs with girls needed, excellent salaries paid, the bars are indeed having great problems recruiting girls.

As far as can one have a great time in Angeles city then that depends directly on how fussy a punter is regarding girls, the lower the expectations the greater chance of a better time.

It makes no sense that they would change it to 24 hours before arrival, rather than departure. If it's true that the website won't allow for you to enter the information until 24 hours before arrival, then this seems like a mistake. I'm in LA so it technically wouldn't be an issue for me. I will say that if you show up to the airport with all your paperwork in order completed 24 hours in advance before departure, you wouldn't be turned away. I was in line with hundreds of people with disorganized / lacking paperwork, and the Philippine Airlines crew worked with everyone. A lady in front of me heard someone checking in and asked me if she needed proof of health insurance. I explained what she needed and how I got it (which wasn't a super quick process with my insurance provider). She started panicking and typing around in her phone. I watched to see if she was turned away. She was not, nor was even one person in that line that I waited in for well over an hour. Just my experience.

But that is different than entering that information (document upload) into the OHP website, which must be done prior to checking in for your flight (they check your OHP QR code upon check-in). You can not register on the OHP website prior to 24 hours before arriving in Phils (see picture, blue arrows). Even if you get swab tested a day or two before your flight, that is fine. But you can not get on your plane until you get thru the OHP website registration.

Its entirely possible that a simple language mistake was made by the BOQ in the statement about departure and arrival. It also doesn't make any sense that they would change the registration period from 72 hours to 24 hours.

[/QUOTE]In that video, the narrator Jennifer Terri used a good example: Your flight leaves LAX on May 10 (11:40 pm), lays over in Singapore and departs at 9:30 am, and arrives in Manila on May 22 in the afternoon (see pic). That's more than 24 hours. It could be an issue for anyone. Even if your flight time was less than 24 hours, you must still complete the OHP process before checking in. I don't see any advantage to anyone in changing this from 72 to 24 hours.

I would guess that FG is right and the airlines are working with everyone to see that they get onboard. I might also posit that the BOQ is doing all of this to make it easier on themselves: If the OHP is completed, they need fewer personnel at NAIA going thru everyone's paperwork. On the BOQ website it says that they are not accepting walk-ins at the offices, and if you need to go there you must make an appointment at least one day in advance. Probably understaffed and still operating under covid restrictions like other government agencies.

There was a group around Drill Shack, Det 5, etc, maybe 5 bars. Then a few Korean bars, Orange bar etc, les than ten bars. So maybe 20 bars at most between Pony Tails (Now closed) and the Clarkton Hotel. So I'm not sure where you are seeing the other 80. Maybe back in the days of Clark air base there was 100+ but I doubt there are 50 bars in all of AC these days including WS.
