It's still warm and sometimes hot, but can be cool and very pleasant in the evenings, plus the beaches are a little less crowded. As for the venues you've mentioned, they have nothing to do with the season. Everything stays open.

I was on the gparena website and clicked on termas. I never heard of some of these. Can you guys let me know if these are worth going too or just go to the ones that have at least 15 reviews:

Usually these are the merchants that want you to select currency so they can make some money out of it. It seem to work most of the time in smaller city that the currency selection rarely come up.

Since you can't get a Brazilian SIM card in Brazil like Mexico, does google fi give you a new number with data and Wi-Fi. You would be using data in Brazil with google fi. Is that correct.

I carry multiple CC and debit cards when traveling (stored in a safe location), but I also subscribed to identity theft monitoring (Identity Force) for additional security.

At the end of the day, I really only carry or take out cash for women. And most of that cash will be stored in a safe location and not on me.

Worked great for 3 months and they cut off my data stating a clause that said Fi should but used in the United States. Left me high and dry. Had to get a Claro sim card. Email from Fi stated if I return to US then would reinstate data. I didn't even use a lot of data. About 4 gb a month. Never again!

Hello guys, I'm going to Rio in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone can help out a newb. I consistently contribute to cartagena trip reports, but first time in Rio and will report back. Through basic research, I plan visit some of the famous termas (Centaurus, 4 x4, Monte carlo) and couple massge spots (RJ massage). Any comments on those?

My main question is, night clubs. Are there any night clubs similar to (LDV or Space in Cartagena) where you can drink, hang out, but all the girls there are working girls, therefore, your work is cut out for you. And my second question is strip clubs- if I'm interested in taking back to my abnb, is strip clubs a good choice? Are there high take out fees? And what is the best option for someone looking for take out?

Thing with automobiles and firearms is that too many people act like they are not dangerous and do not respect them as such. And that is how mfs get killed! Whilst I can't speak for what it used to be like, I can confirm that three young and pretty WGs (all solid 7's+) did indeed come and position themselves right in front of me on the beach yesterday afternoon, and brazenly proceeded to work on the suntan between their upper thighs! I'm currently working on one of them through WhatsApp, but her expectations are currently rather high for me!

I leave my regular phone in the room and use an inexpensive phone I got on Amazon. Or you can port an existing number if you want. There's a few different plans and you have the option to shut off data or the whole plan. It does reactivate after 3 months of inactivity automatically. They send you an email notification and you can easily shut it back off. Google fi runs on whatever network is available, so yes it is running on a Brazilian mobile network. It also automatically switches to wifi to save you data and minutes if you have a wifi connection.

I wonder if you ran vpn for a couple days if that would work. Maybe put it in airplane mode before you go to bed. Then in the morning turn on the vpn and run it for a day or two then do the reverse. I know that's a pain the ass but it could be a possible work around for someone long term out of country.

I usually only do a week or 2 max trip so google fi is perfect for me. When I retire I may have to look for a better option.

When Hooker Beach was rocking years ago, you could squeeze in an afternoon session for a good price. The girl would disappear with you for awhile presuming you stayed near the beach. That might not be true anymore. Back then, hot girls could always find a score at night. An afternoon session at the beach was a bonus for them.
