Because with the label of coyote this gives the mind set of a higher bar fine which gets you a more attractive girl. Do you have to pay more to the girl for your encounter? Typically these coyotes only want to go short time. They will hit you up for 4000ST. Are they getting it? Yes, I have seen many Japanese and Chinese punters bar fining these girls. After 1AM the coyote girls will reduce the bar fine to about half. So if the bar fine was 4000THB before 1 it will be 2000THB after 1. Typically they do not want to go long term but will and the asking was 5000-6000THb after 1. Maybe 4000THB if lucky. The bars on Soi Cowboy seem to be moving towards selling lady drinks as their number one source of revenu with bar fines as a second. Some of these bars are fully packed with customers while others are dead. Baccara seems to be the only go go in soi cowboy with absolutely no coyotes. Where others will have a mix of normal go go girls and coyotes. So before you sit and chat with your favourite go go girl it would be wise to ask her which category she falls into. If she says coyote, be prepared to buy a slew of lady drinks and just maybe you can end up bar finding her for an outrageous amount of money. I tried it once and the experience was great but for the money you can get the same with a non coyote go go dancer. In my opinion it is not worth the risk and I would recommend sticking to Baccara or Nana plaza. There is maybe only one bar in Nana which has started this trend of coyote dancers which I read about on this board a few days ago. This trend in the go go's in BKK seems to be catching on fast. So we better enjoy the normal go go's while they last.[/QUOTE]You say "there is maybe only one bar in Nana which has started this trend of coyote dancers" A very large wave of Coyotes arrived at Nana Plaza sometime in December or soon thereafter, something in fact Stickman (quite accurately in fact) predicted several weeks before it actually occurred. Coyotes are now all over the clubs in Nana Plaza. While there could be a few others, the only obvious "no-coyote" exception seems to be the Rainbow clubs in Nana, similar to Baccarra in Soi Cowboy.

The question at this point: when or will Baccarra or the Rainbow Clubs also let in Coyotes? Their business model is basically 1. Generally prettier than average Go Go girls thereby drawing-in more punters than other clubs 2. All dancers barfine at a fixed reasonable rate. 600 or thereabouts. Whether that business model is still viable its hard to tell.

While its disruptive of everything else, its definitely drawing talent into the P4P business. Not that the quality is usually as high but just like G Clubs, the girls will often enter the edges of the business under a sort of pretense, rationalizing it by in effect saying 1. I ONLY have to dance and sell drinks or 2. I only have to stand in front of a club in Soi Cowboy and draw customers in. Even the ones claiming 10, 000 baht barfines, will eventually run into cash heavy punters. Once they do one guy, more will follow.

IMHO once these girls get a taste of the big money to spend at the shopping malls, they don't go back. However they may change venues, so while some may no longer stand out in front of clubs, many could well end up working the FL market in the Hi So clubs.

Or in the rare cases where they are ultra hot drop dead gorgeous playful ("Aibolit" quality) stunners, perhaps just work out of the mysterious, enigmatic, baffling, puzzling, and so far little understood secret world of Terminal 21.

Don't know about Bamboo, but I have heard good things about Bo who works there.

Me and a friend will be in Thailand for a week in June. Just wanted some advice from fellow members as to how the scene will be in June, is it an off season, and will that affect the prices in the city. Also any recommendation for a decent place to stay which will be guest friendly near Nana will be appreciated.

That is f*ing inconvenient. Getting stuck in Makkasan is like getting stuck in the western world. Too far from the action.

If I were ever to actually stay in BKK and need to take the airport express from near Phaya Thai, the regular stops of the normal run would be impossible with luggage. Bloody mindedness to get tourists to use Makkasan perhaps?

Even if I had a "contact" number of a beautiful Go Go dancer, I wouldn't give it out, and aside from the obvious reason that any punter is free to visit the particular Go Go club themself and find the girl, there is another reason: in Go Go clubs in Bangkok the unstated rule is that dancers (at least with Farangs) get to decide which customers they will or will not go OTC with, and usually they do this with cues or signals sent from stage.

Now on the issue of stage cues: 1. she refuses to look at you. Not good 2. Giving you a dirty look. Not good 3. A brief smile. Good even if obviously fake 4. Good eye contact. Usually good. 5. girl turns her ass toward you and point toward it all while still looking at you (generally only happens when there are next to zero customers) -usually good

Now when the mamasans point to the girl and then point toward you (when clubs are slow), then usually follow with a pelvic thrust that's a GO signal IMHO but the problem is the girl herself is not really in the loop, so i think its still best to get an independent vibe.

If the mamasan jumps on you and starts "humping" you, i guess that means any girl on stage should be ready to go with you, but same issue as above.

While everyone believes Go Go dancers are just looking in the mirror, they seem to have excellent situational awareness of where good prospects are in the club at any given moment, and some are pretty much constantly scanning the room for potential customers. While you might think you are hiding sitting far back, you will be scanned in some form, often even in crowded clubs, and if a girl wants you to barfine her, the signals will be sent, and no doubt very expllicity signals once you are at stage side.

Has someone been pestering you for numbers of girls? I personally don't have a problem giving a fellow board member a number from one of my reports. In most cases it will help the girl involved! In both cases you have to navigate stairs with your luggage. Phaya Tai has more stairs, but a shorter overall distance to walk. I'd guess about a 5 minute walk and 15 or 20 minutes to take the skytrain to Nana or Asok. From Makkasan station to Petchaburi MRT it's around a 10 minute walk and another 10-15 minutes to catch the next train to Sukhumwit.

In short, they're roughly the same. Neither one is that convenient, especially with lots of luggage, but neither is hugely inconvenient.

Not at all.

After 10pm or so, there are usually a few dozen working girls on the dark street next to railroad tracks very close to the Makkasan Airport Link station. Cross Rachada road, then continue just 200m along the tracks. 1000-1500 ST in a nearby curtain hotel. Customers usually come by taxi, but on foot is OK too.

Yeah, it's not Nana, Cowboy or any of the world-famous neon-marked spots that can be found by a blind hillbilly from Nowhere, Wyoming. But calling it "too far from the action" is inaccurate.
