Most of the comparison reports I've read previously have been written by Pattaya regulars who are occassional Angeles City visitors. This is a view from someone who is the opposite.

General Similarities:

Both cities are generally shit holes but shit holes with character that foreigners keep returning to for one reason only, getting laid. They also have a much smaller population of long term or permanent residents and are the poor cousins of a nearby Capital City. The Capitals have better choices of top end girls, hotels and meals. Visits to both are very heavily affected by the timing. Holidays, tourist seasons and weather can make a substantial difference to enjoyment, prices and girl / visitor numbers and quality.

Pattaya Benefits:

Orders of magnitude larger. This gives it many more hotel, bar and girl options. Not only are there more of these, but there are much wider standards of girls and bars / gogos. This means that there are also many more (very) attractive girls to choose from.

Seemed to operate predominantly on a ST business model. This gives the punter who is seeking to visit as many girls as possible ample opportunity to secure as many girls as he wants from multiple types of businesses in multiple red light area. Nudity and shows are much more common and X rated.

Much fewer damaged goods wandering the streets, whether its junkie hookers, burnt out expats or self mutilated beggars.

Many more options for daytime activities and much better food.

Angeles City Benefits:

Service levels that need to be negotiated in Pattaya are usually inclusions and seldom need to be clarified. LT BBFS and GFE is far more common and can generally be taken for granted. Negotiations are much more likely to be done in Englush

Much more suited to a guy / group who are out to bar hop and party or have a less structured type of night (s).

Like for like prices are slightly better.

While there are areas that cover the low end of the market, there are far less massage parlours, low end beer bars or street walkers that are staffed by horrendous ladies that seem to be a total waste of time and building space.

If I could visit only one where would I go?

If I wanted to churn through as many girls as possible and had a tick list of activities that I wanted covered, I would go to Pattaya.

If I wanted to bounce around the clubs and party on on an unstructured manner for an unknown period, I would go to AC.

I guess with a condom on, I didn't really worry much as everything else about her was fantastic. She wasn't plump, but not toned, amazing natural tits though. With TF in Pattaya, I'd give the girls my hotel location straight up as an initial message. They then knew I was serious, and they could work out how much it would cost to get to me. But I have to disagree with you about Pattaya generally being a shithole. And that is compared to Bangkok as well. Whenever I enter the city I am struck by how relatively pleasant and well maintained it is even in the parts of town away from the beach and resort hotels.

Living in Bangkok, it is always a pleasure to round the bend onto Beach Road during the day and drive or walk past the quite nice hotels, restaurant options, the ocean views and so on. And same for nearby Jomtein Beach. It is a very nice break from the Bangkok scene. I know lots of expats in Bangkok who, same as me, go to Pattaya primarily for that reason and not to get laid.

Walking Street looks like a dump during the day. But even that area picks up with an air of excitement at night that does not give the impression of being in a shithole place.

I think it's very obvious that girls tend to upload their 'best looking' pics on their profile when using their social media accounts. And just to clarify my point, I was basically saying that there's plenty of decent looking girls in Pattaya, and I couldn't understand why guys were going with nasty looking girls. But I was there for a week only and met some attractive girls.

Siamsin, the lol in my post relating to the pics you posted was meant to comment on the debate that had been raging over whether or not I was seeing all the "Top Girls" present and available in Walking Street go-go bars. And I thought maybe you had posted those pics in direct response to that raging debate. Your group shots of go-go dancers look fine. Group shots of go-go dancers always look fine no matter where they are from. Individual posed photos of many if not most P4P girls look fine. If they don't look fine, we don't share them with anyone else. LOL. Same with pics of ourselves. And for the reasons you have stated as well.

Photos often do more to mislead than inform. Some of the hottest girls in person take terrible photos. Some of the dregs can look terrific in a photo. And, I dare say that is every bit as possible with a couple of the girls in Phazze's photos. That is one reason I can safely say a couple of those girls could qualify as SuperStars on Beach Road or Soi 6. Photos and reality can easily be off by that much.

Before you posted your pics, I had said I did not recall seeing pics of markedly better looking "Top Girls" on Walking Street. Which was another reason I thought your pics were meant to address that comment.

However, for me, the constant stench in the streets and deficiency of basic services (eg drainage and rubbish collection) certainly deserved the description. Of course 99% of foreign visitors (myself included) don't come for scenic beauty. They come for what Pattaya does very well, pussy, and are happy to overlook the limitations mentioned earlier.

I'm sure that the close proximity to BKK provides a good respite for long term residents. For those of us that have travelled half way around the globe to get here and are seeking sun, beaches and resorts there are much better options a little further away from BKK. However, remember that this is not a high priority for the vast majority of foreign Pattaya visitors.

Despite the totally inedible food, the unbearable heat, the constant stench of raw sewage and rubbish, lack of things to do during the day, the shitty internet, disinterested go go dancers and thieving trike drivers, it's like a magnet which just attracts me.

Fahrenheit is a bit better but nothing like it was 3 years ago. Not dirty like it once was either. Baccara is the best of the 4 gogo bars you visited. You will find hotter girls at the Rainbow bars in Nana if these are the benchmark gogo bars you visited on walking street.

Last Patpong bar I pulled from was Black Pagoda. I much prefer taking the girl to my apartment vs a local ST hotel room. And since I live moderate walking distance or very short taxi distance from Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy, those are the go-go bars I generally pull from. Taking a girl to my apartment from Patpong is either a weird hassle on two BTS trains or an MRT train and a BTS train or might take as long as 45 minutes by taxi depending on traffic conditions.

I am no expert on exactly which bars have the most or best looking girls on a given night since I do not make it my goal to take the best looking girl in a place. I find the best looking girls in any venue to be spoiled by their ability to make money by doing very little and too lazy to deliver much of value to me in the bed, mostly suitable for prestige-seeking punters who simply must be seen walking out of a bar with the top girl or girls. I am more than happy to leave those girls to the guys who need that. I am long past such a need.

However, my ideal situation is to be in a red light district where there are plenty of "best" looking girls all around, in the bars, doors or curtain open, milling around outside the bars, up and down the soi, all over the place and immediately visible to all. And that includes "best" looking girls who just work in restaurants and shops in the immediate area. I don't mean a majority of them are going to be "best" lookers. Just enough for some to be highly visible in any direction. Nana Plaza best provides that kind of environment in Bkk, imo. In such an environment, the 2nd tier girls, the middle range girls, let's say the "merely" good looking, cute or sexy girls have to be on their game in order to compete with the highly visible "best" looking girls in the area. Hiding the "best" looking girls behind closed doors in 3-4 special bars does nothing to contribute to the environment I'm talking about. In fact, it is counterproductive to it.

It is in that environment where those 2nd tier, middle range, "merely" good looking, cute or sexy girls feel they MUST offer more, do better, say "yes" to this or that in order to compete with girls that are right there two paces to the left or right of them and will be taken by eager prestige-seeking punters regardless how crappy their service in the bed might be. Many times that group has to actually be better looking than they would need to be if there weren't many top lookers easily visible to all as well.

Oh, a "best" looking girl in the joint has certainly fallen into my lap a few times. And if I put my best effort to it (game? Maybe some. Money? Certainly), it is quite easy for me to get virtually any of those girls to go with me. But then what? Chances are 19 out of 20 the girl will say "no" to the kind of True GFE I require because she knows she will be taken by plenty of guys who don't require it. Or I will get the "no" in the bar, which I much prefer between the two. No big deal. But often a waste of my time. Getting the kind of True GFE I require to justify the money spent with "merely" good looking, cute or sexy girls in their low 20's is just fine for me. And easier done when the conditions I described above are in place.

Last trip to Rainbow 5, yeh I liked one girl a lot, my buddy Natty's girl. The rest a bit so-so although once some bras came off, I was more impressed by one or two. It certainly isn't a psychological disorder, malady or weakness, and particularly not in the human animal since we don't give birth in "litters". With a 9 month gestation period in order to give birth to only one child the vast majority of times, accounting for mortality rates and the cases where copulating with one female over and over again might not produce an offspring at all, it has been necessary for human males to copulate with many different females since prehistoric times. "Modern civilization" has hardly been going on long enough to erase that hard-wiring in our brains. It is still there.
