To start my explanation: men have inherent desire for respect and happiness combined. Most of the times, they may not even realize this till 30 but crave for both in one person, mostly from spouse or partner. Unfortunately in many cases (if not most), getting both respect and happiness from one person of opposite gender is a distant dream. A beautiful wife / girlfriend thinking that she is doing a favor by sleeping with you for example, is a non-starter for many young men. Another example would be below average spouse / girlfriend respecting the relationship but still not making your eyes happy. Blessed are the ones who found a spouse who can provide both respect and happiness, these are the unicorns that I am yet to meet one.

There starts a burning desire inside men that drives to explore the greener pastures and soon realizes that they are not much green either. This will go on till 35 to 40. Once a man reaches 40+, he will have enough experiences to clear his mind and make a sound decision on what he wants. He proceeds to choose one spouse accordingly or decides to remain a butterfly or something else. In essence, a man starts a journey to discover his emotional maturity and most reach it by the time they hit 40+.

If a man doesn't hit emotional maturity by 50+, that's what I call as mid-life crisis where he continuously feels that he deserves better. Mostly, he remains in the same thought and ends-up hating himself or the partner. I call this as emotionally wrecked and they have constant need to self-validate. The example you gave above, a man satisfying himself by going with top go-go dancers is one such case. I understand the effect of abuse as child but there is nothing a man can't stand emotionally given the way we evolved as species. A man can find hope and use his intellect in any situation irrespective of how emotionally exhaustive it is. Some in opposite gender might be able to do this but I say this is a gift to men-kind.

Disclaimer: I am not trying to generalize billions of men on planet. This is just my personal experience based on limited exposure to men from 6 countries that I interacted / worked with. My apologies if I have offended anyone.

Maybe, this is where I agree with a statement I heard from gay folk that "it takes a man to understand another man". Being a hetero-sexual man, I am sure I will never know.

The small bar only has around 20 regular go go dancers so they would be easy to spot. You would think as a Bangkok resident, an expert in Nana girls, and somebody who recently frequented Rainbow, would have recognized them. I'm thinking somebody got their hand caught in the cookie jar. So any assertions or expertise about being able to recognize who has the better looking girls, Bangkok a go go's or Walking Street's just went out the window. Songkran starts tomorrow but the water throwing has already begun. VERY cute young girl with a water gun and backpack hops on the baht bus beside me. I have only popped in a few times in the past to look around, not get the vibe I am looking for and move on. Which, as I have said several times, has little or nothing to do with targeting top lookers. I don't even pull from Billboard more than once every 2-3 months.

Add to which I never claimed to be an expert on Nana gogo bars or girls and certainly not where the best lookers are. I have repeatedly mentioned over the past couple of years that the majority of my sexual encounters are from dating sites, mention them all the time, freelancers, non P4P girls I meet in regular shops, malls and restaurants around town, less in the bars lately and least of all in MPs.

Went to Sabadee in the afternoon. Many girls to choose from on the stage. The one I like was always the expensive girl with a rate of 3000 bhat. They were not ready to bargain though it was a weeday afternoon. Finally selected no 1 girl who was looking pretty. In the room she wasted lot of time cleaning the bath tub. I arrived yesterday and managed to get soaked along BR between Soi 7 and 8, then especially on Soi 7. I heard from a girl it will be worse today and that Friday BR will be closed down. I will just dress in my swim suit that day! It was not my preference to come her during Songkran, but oh well.

Soi 6 last night was not very busy, though I had a girl there. Then went to WS which was humming, but I was tired and and took from Red Car a lady I have seen a few times as she gives reliable service and is at least nice and warm. But the "have better value for your baht" part is a bit troublesome for me as a recommendation for Pattaya over Bangkok when that or a related topic arises. LOL. Regarding P4P options and results, that is exactly why I prefer Bangkok over Pattaya; you get better value for your baht. Hell, if it were the opposite of that, I'd be living in Pattaya instead of Bangkok. Unless you're talking about the cost of hotel rooms, booze, ease of traveling around town, things like that and not about P4P options and results.

[/QUOTE]Quite good analysis. We don't necessarily we deserve the best girls going (at 50 plus), but we can get hot girls for a bit of fun. We definitely are not looking for confrontation, arguments, etc, more like lust and fun. We have realised that out sourcing the sex can be better, and even cheaper than a permanent partner. We just don't need the hassles any more.

At 35 I started to meet extra hot girls, but some of them were too crazy to be considered a partner candidate. Good for ST sex though.

Finally I have a GF that does not make a lot of big arguments. Is willing to make some fun and is far too hot looking for me to deserve her perhaps. So an okay Choice. Still never get quite enough sex. Took many mistakes to finally get to a reasonable suitable girl.
