I think anyone reading this forum gets the picture that although Kenya may not be what it used to be as a monger destination, it is still a good place to do so from non-pros to pros. It is inevitable that a convergence of economic growth, outside influence and media exposure will impact the monger experience in a myriad of ways. Anyway, one cannot overanalyze this stuff or else the forums get bogged down in question after question for information. And the shameful thing is many questioners never post anything about their experience. I have posted both the good and bad of my trips. In an effort to break the verbosity that has prevailed in this thread, I am posting a few pictures of a non pro or two that I have banged in Mombasa. I am no longer involved with these ladies, but if you are on the different online sites, you will be able to find them. They are non pros and it would be best if you contact them via badoo or afro where they have profiles. My breakup with the fine one was not the best (envision a scene from "Cheaters") , so it will not help your cause to have me pass her number to you (and I am not even certain if she still has the same number). The other average looking chick was a good lay but I sensed she wanted something serious, and I could not go for that. I cannot post any photos of my Kikuyu girlfriend as they are all facial shots (I never photographed us while having sex) , but trust me when I say she is model quality.

Its a hostile place now or may become like that witout any warring. So the main concern is coming back to your country in one piece.

I was from 1999 in Kenya; Malindi, Mtwapa, Bamburi. It's not that country like in the past. Refugees; an explotion of their population and the difference between rich and poor is becoming more and more. Furthermore the whole political situation; also religious in Africa; gents; I can see worse signs at the horizon.

Maybe the worse signs what you see is in the newspapers but have you ever see a news paper with a positive message and than about Kenya or whole Africa.

For the regular monger is it here still a paradise on earth but try to understand the people and respect the culture and you get more back than what you give.

That is Kenya is my experience.

Sure, it's not DUBAI (clean secure roads and hotels) but one need only use the same caution as in any major city. I do, however, feel for the couples in Mombasa that had all their belongings just walk away from the hotel- with the help of security-no doubt. You just can't beat phat juicy booty young women banging your brains out for not much in return! Prices are climbing though. If the hotels and women continue to demand more than I just assume go to Thailand. More activities. The only bonus in Kenya being the more curvy bodies of the African.

One has to think what will happen if they don't provide more jobs to a population. 60% of which are under twenty. They have to get money somehow. Probably by the gun.

It's not about the prices. In 2002 I got round 70 ksh for the €; this year round 112; so if the prices are a bit higher it's not that damage. But I see more and more people comming to the coast; and less tourists. The hunt of money is now harder; furthermore I'm scared about religious tensions. In the past we were a lot of people at BT / Cheers; and know the situation is also for us not that what I hade in the past.

A while ago somebody stated at this forum that he could rent a room at Pa Pweza's for 3000 Ksh a night.

Well, I went out to check at the reception and found rates that not even came near to this amount.

Cheapest is 125 $ and when asked they said they could reduce maybe 15 $ for a longer stay.

So the one who wrote this must have amazing charming- or maybe even hypnotizing skills, or otherwise is talking about another place

I noticed that Big Tree nowadays is rather boring.

In the afternoons it looks more like a pensioner's Club with a lot of white haired Papa's and only few girls sitting at the outside hunting area.

Also quite a few families with children etc. Looks like it's turning more into a family place now

Even Cheers is not very busy nowadays and always the same girls, not all of the finest vintage.

In Mtwapa city Casuarina is still booming but also the joint right across the road "Niez" is very popular now, looks like it has taken over from Bahnhof now.

Every (late) night the place is bursting out of it's walls, many girls walking up & down between this place & Casuarina, constantly crossing the road.

The place can become a bit rowdy later at night, but there is a wide variety of girls to be found there. For the more intrepid muzungu though, although there is a good team of bouncers around, throwing out the most obnoxious types as the night grows old.

Concerning the safety issues, I did not notice any change in the volume or composition of the partying crowds, be it Kenyans or tourists. At night all the usual places are packed. Of course the symbolic ritual with the "detector sticks" around your body would not have any effect in preventing possible disasters.

Just want to share some info. Almost every other day I've been riding back and forth from mtapa pass bamburi to nacromat junction (probably spelled that wrong). I hardly ever use taxi. On the matatu (small vans that charge a small fee for travel). I use to say mtaku and the girls would laugh at me because it means ass. Imagine telling a chick lets go ride the mtaku. One responded you can ride my ass LOL.

I pay about 20ksh from big tree to nacromat junction. From mombasa to mtapa I pay 40ksh. The restraunts around big tree and kahama are expensive. I just cook my food. (Well have it cooked for me). Just go to the supermarket on the main road in mtapa and buy my food. Big difference.

To piggy back on what zimzam said causrina is still kicking and big tree and cheers pretty much has the same rotation of girls (pros). I've only dealt with one pro out of the 9 girls I've been with. Big tree is the place to be on sundays. On fri and sat the lounge and bobs are kicking in mombasa. I had fun at bobs with some friends I've met while I've been here, but bob's has mostly a young crowd.
