In the old days I used to take Soapy girls for unofficial outcall all night or sometimes even several days. This was good because they would not tell the shop anything other than away sick. You then were only paying the girl. I don't really do it any more.
Oily MP girls are problematic for outcall, because you have to figure out how much is the shops cut, and then how much tip is needed for the girl. No point unless she is really hot and really worth it. Its much simpler to take a bargirl for the whole night. Its simply a case of reaching a good understanding. I never do it if I don't know the girl well, I. E. Always ST first up and then consider extending if agreeable to all parties.
Yes it must help being able to speak Thai. Also I am very well known in certain bars. The staff can be helpful then with information about various girls.
The very best bar girls have no difficulty in getting plenty of STs or LTs as they desire. So I always collect phone numbers and ring to book them ahead. The No. 1 girl in Suzie Wong, Noo Dee is very hard to get to without pre-bookings or get extremely lucky. The No. 1 girl in Doll House Noi is not quite as heavily booked but comes close. I have been struggling to get to May in Crazy House, so I am guessing she has quickly become very popular and booked up. She seems to be missing a lot, even on a Saturday night. The No. 1 girl pointed out to me in Baccara some time back was not even slightly interesting to my taste. Definitely must have been a Japanese frequent pick. There is only one girl I like at Long Gun, and probably not to everyone's taste as brown skinned and slightly broad nose (actually she is not from Isaan LOL). I like just one girl in Spankies, and have not found anyone else worth repeating in Nana recently. So I am agreeing that really great girls for looks and fun are a bit scarce in the bars. Moderate looks and fun, can find several in Suzie Wong alone.
The very best looking girls in Soapies can be very difficult to get to as well (pre-bookings) and in very high price brackets. In Oilies the very best looking girls hardly exist at all. Gaew is gone from Pink now, and Bai Fern did not last long at Yoremichi, and Angie did not stay long at Cherry. Was disappointing to lose June and Bo (Cherry) recently too. I have met a few reasonably nice looking girls in Soi 24/1 recently, but nothing in the really top bracket for both face and body. I will keep trying.
I think I understand that most guys in Oilies, are accepting looks that are just not good enough for me. Its a lot easier to sit in a bar and spend time deciding if a girl is right than to do it in an Oily. You are expected to choose a girl without delay. That is sort of intolerable to me. Sky[/QUOTE]If we make a very strong and basic generalization, oilie and soapie girls perform through their body, and servicing. That is where they main skills are and that is why one goes there. Not for the eye candy, not for the drinks, not for the music or the ambiance.
Whereas gogo girls, IMHO, are there to "entertain" with their beauty and presence. Watching other girls, etc. This is why they also get money through LD: they spend time with you and must see it rewarded.
The material world we live in then transforms this entertainment into "will you barfine me?" quick question at the first LD. To the happiness of the bar as anyhow, on principle, it has far more girls than customers, and it earns, through the BF, more than the revenue from drinks, in a comparable period of time.
On the other hand, whilst it is in the menu, I don't think oilies are happy of LT take aways of their girls as diminishes the work force.
A bit easier in those soapies where the line up or fishbowl usually sees at least 15/20 girls at the other side of the "mirror", so 2-3 being away, if they are not the top girls, is not a drama.
This is why there are more starfish or disappointments from gogo girls than oilie girls.
A non well performing olie girl will not survive long in the MP.

I have seen good ones also at 2pm.
Let's say Beergarden or Gulliver are a sort of FL market with a possibility to check potential chemistry, far better than picking up a girl from the street, where you seal the deal in 50" unless you stare at the girl, from somewhere like a weirdo and check on her (but still not talk to her).
At BG you can share a drink or two together and then part way if you don't feel she is ok for you.
Same as in a normal bar, but her drinks are not called LD and there is no BF.

First time customers are welcome. Different MPs have different policies. At Bamboo the girl may leave at 9pm and stay with you until the next morning. At Annie's and the Dr. BJ establishments the outcall starts at 4-5pm; the girl will say with you until the next morning and may stay with you until she has to be at work, which may not be until late afternoon. There should be no problem booking her for several days if you like her. If my first outcall with a lady goes well I will often book a repeat. I often find the repeat is even better. I believe the ladies appreciate that you want to be with them again.
Ladies can also be found in the various bars around lower Sukhumvit. Bier Garten is one popular venue. Much is written about it on ISG. At one time Gulliver's on Soi 5 was also popular. Some of the ladies you meet in these venues would be interested in a long term engagement.
A third option is to search Thai dating websites like Thai Love Links. I know people who have had success finding attractive ladies on these websites. I haven't used them. I'm too lazy to spend time finding a lady, getting to know her, confirming that she is as she represents herself, etcetera. You can find pros, semi-pros and non-pros on these websites.
Escort agencies also offer ladies for multiple day bookings. Though many give a price break for long bookings, this is still an expensive option.

I am of a similar opinion, and I can summarize with my generalization:
Gogo's girls are primarly Eye-candy, then Entertaining (as bar hostess) and eventually bed companions.
Girls from MP's have to win customers with (sex) performances, mainly.
This is also why there are so many reports on specific MP girls (and recommendations) rather than on specific gogo girls (often repeated when they don't perform.)
But, mind you, this is a short word judgement, not a word of law.

My off-the-cuff example goes like this: It seems most of the Thai go-go scene has "degenerated" into short-time encounters. Short time used to be around 3 hours, but is now an hour, or so, from what I understand. Prices vary, but top-notch go-go girls go for 3, 000. 4,000 for a short time encounter. So that, coupled with the bar fine (600 and up) , a couple of lady drinks (150 each, minimum) , plus a couple of drinks for yourself, and you're knocking on the door of $200. IMHO, a go-go is very poor value for money these days, but many still go to BKK for them.

I really don't want interaction before I choose. Interviewing the girl, engaging in idle chat, etc. Is just not what I am interested in. Modus operandi is pick the girl and have at it. I have a GF and love interacting with her, but hey, when out for a session, I am out for a session. That is why I read the forum and listen to friend's recommendations. My issue with Soapies is I want a PSE and a very well developed skill set. With a great BJ, rimming, and intensity a given. I don't want to ask or negotiate. Even if a gal is a 10 in my book, if that is not on the menu, I am not interested. Give me a 7 that can make me blow twice in a hour any day.
