it is forbidden to promote, favour, give feedbacks and hints etc.

on the subject of "****" it is not much different, plus the fact there might be legal consequences, being a criminal offence to promote etc.

on the other hand how one should read a sentence as "do not go in bar xy as there are **** girls working" or "do not go in bar yx as full of lb's" and really meaning that?

as the glass can be half empty or half full, those sentences can be a warning ("stay away in case you do not know") or a subtle hint ("just for you to know, in case you are interested")

maybe meaning stay away. or maybe giving some "useful" info to those who are looking for that info.

i often warned some newbies mentioning those touchy subject in a naive way (not strictly promoting, maybe just saying "have been with a lb and was happy about it" which imho is out of the rules). referring to the rules.

Went to Nana Plaza on Sunday night in a very good mood as I had just watched Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-0. I was not actually on the hunt myself but my Australian friend was as this was the last night of his two week holiday.

We started off the evening in Angelwitch which I have to say still has very good shows and I noticed a few additions to the line up from my last visit there. Unfortunately Dave the rave is no longer there in the evenings as his efforts have been switched to internet and other such promotion which means he is busy in the day time but free in the evening. Having been here quite a few times my friend is wise enough not to grab a lady from the first venue visited.

We walked upstairs and had a quick look in Billboard, the time was around 11:30, but the offerings were thin to say the least. This is not a direct criticism of the venue as perhaps there had been a lot of barfines that night and let's be honest that is what they are in business to do. However it did not appeal to my friend so we swiftly moved on. Dropped into Mercury next and was immediately accosted by a lady I have known for around two years. It is probably 4 months since I have been in there and the number of girls dancing was disappointing, four girls up on stage and not many more sitting around. I asked the lady who was now sipping the drink I offered her but she mumbled some inaudible reply which I took to be the Thai way of letting me know she didn't want to discuss the subject so one quick vodka sprite later and we decided to pop next door to Mandarin.

Surprisingly this is a go-go I have never been to before and within three seconds of checking out the line up was kicking myself for not doing so. There were about 12-14 girls up dancing and a few more dotted around on the seats. After ordering drinks I looked at my friend to be greeted by a knowing grin and a telling nod which unmistakably meant this would be our final venue of the evening.

I have to say it was much easier to count the girls I would not consider barfining than the other way round, which came to three. Now this was not because they were fat or ugly they were simply not to my personal taste. I'm sure there are other people who would consider my three no-goes as being desirable and the World is a better place for the difference in preference. I did call one particularly nice lady down for a drink and a chat. She was very pleasant and had a vibrancy about her. Furthermore she fully understood that I was not interested in a companion that night but I assured her I would be popping back this coming Friday to sample her company on a more intimate basis. Needless to say my friend eventually selected a fine looking lady and within 20 minutes was disappearing in the direction of the ST Hotel within the Nana complex.

In summing up anyone coming to Bangkok in the next few weeks should set aside some time to check out the offerings in Mandarin, I seriously doubt you will be disappointed.

I been "boots on the ground" a few times in BKK, but find my local knowledge severly lacking when it comes to knowing what the real difference might be in some terms.

Is a "soapie" sometihng like Nataree? An "oily" might be Annie's? How does one classify something like Lord's?

I'm assuming that MP are the numerous massge places on every street that the girls often sit outside. I admit I never thought about walking into one of those and taking a girl out for a LT or even a ST to my hotel.

What clubs are normally referred to as "G" clubs? The only one I went to (3 times) was way out near the old airport. I did not know there were any near the normal playgrounds.

SW I am familiar with as well as the go go bars.

I guess "G" clubs would be Gay. Not sure if that is true. In most of the MPs the girls would offer a single shot or two shots in the massage cabin itself (if you are comfortable, banging them there). I had taken few girls back to my hotel from MPs in Sukhumvit Soi4 area, after they are done with their shift, but they are not as energetic as they would be if it is in the morning when they are fresh.

In Thailand you could certainly be right but you might also be giving language credit where it is not due. I had a FL 2 nights ago with the same conversation and same answer.
