Every supermarket I have ever used shows the total price including ITBIS on the shelf ticket and on the article if price labelled. More sophisticated supermarkets like La Sirena and Jose Luis show the basic price and the ITBIS for each line item. Some Mom & Pop stores also do this but others just total the ITBIS at the foot of the receipt.

The DR government relies on ITBIS because they take in comparatively little from income and business taxes as the middle-class here is smaller and poorer than in First World countries. What they do with the money once they have it is another question and a scandal, but that is not an inherent fault of the ITBIS system.

It was started in November 2014, shortly after Brent went missing, and contains details regarding his disappearance. The most recent posts give details about the trial held in Puerto Plata and the evidence against Frankie Fucknuts, his manipulative puta Geraldine, and the slimy lawyer that forged the paperwork to transfer Brent's property to Frankie and Geraldine.

Perhaps old news to some, but the sidewalk in front of Rumbas is now properly paved.

Last week it looked like a war zone in front of Rumbas despite the fact that the sidewalk was 90% done, there were piles of debris everywhere and open ditches dug to eventually help with street drainage.

In the Dominican Republic you now have a lot of women who have a official DR identification saying they are Dominican but are in fact Haitian. Unless you meet the mother and the father you will never know the truth and then you may still not know due to them introducing you to the wrong people.
