Decided to take Natty to Kinnaree today as he had never been. Arrived around 3 pm and I've never seen it so dead. First, I am having a great time in Pattaya. My only issue is that I did not schedule enough time to do the place justice. I really wish I had another week to 10 days here. Spend more time than you planned. Don't have a rigid schedule. I suppose the more limited your time and the more places to visit, the more you need a schedule.

I therefore don't like to make a lot of bookings well in advance. I suppose prices can go up.

My first 5 week trip to Thailand, I may have had first hotel booked, but nothing after that. Went with a group of 5 Thais met in home country on tour of South Thailand, but their pace moving from place to place was too fast for me, whirlwind visit to Koh Samui, so soon split from them. I could then check out Phuket at easy pace.

It's my view that alcohol is not served on religious holidays (without being certain. Logic can be wrong), nothing to do with a substitute day off on a Monday when real day falls on the weekend day.
