In HCMC two guys were escorted away by the authorities. Not sure what the deal was but it took forever to get them out of line. I think what we have at this point is a lot of peasants that have some money and very little knowledge of world standards. Let's hope they figure it out. In a Soapy tips in the tray in lounge may have to be shared. Remember she will bring change back to you. So its clear whatever you leave after that is tip. Delivering to hand is clearly a directed tip. When I tip girl delivering drinks to room, I say she does not have to come back with the change. That means she will take opportunity to pocket change during the mythical return.

It is clear the waiting staff need tips to survive. The pay is unbelievably low.

this establishment was right next to my hotel so after my trip to eden club, i decided to pop into it for a short session.

Unfortuately this forum does not have "I like" option (as other forums do) giving thet opportunity to send appreciations without polluting the thread. A function much needed in the photo gallery, for instance.

I guess I was just being silly.

Thing is, as a newb outsider, its somewhat hard to break into the discussions here. The veterans here can talk about stuff like politics, meaning of names, safe sex etc which don't really mean much to someone like me who has been to TH only once. So I am limited to mostly asking questions which have certainly been answered before in these 100 pages. After asking a ton of these questions, I finally get a chance to appear knowledgeable about the place. But my exploits, as fantastic as they are to me, are just the average garden variety stories to most people here. So, expecting gushes of praise and applause, I instead get *crickets*

But anyway, I don't mean to whine. Just want to sound wise and experienced at times. :D

Any report that contains useful information re mongering is always appreciated, don't worry. OK, now being suitably encouraged, its time for the FR on Star of Light.

A lot of places I went to in Bangkok had that curated professional look. But I wanted something seedy / perverted. So I ended up at SoL.
SoL is a BJ bar. its an old establishment, from a time when men were men and women sucked the men off out in the open bar. Its somewhat hard to find these places in TH nowadays. Most BJ bars generally have proper rooms where the action happens.

This one can be a bit difficult to find.
If you use the BTS Sala Daeng station, then use the exit towards Thaniya.

Skip the first soi / alley to the right which will be Soi Thaniya.

Skip the next soi. It is one catering mainly to gay customers. No ladyboys here but it is chock full of pretty males offering massages.

The next soi to the right is the one. Walk 200m into it and to the right, you may spy the board of the bar. It is very unassuming and its quite easy to skip it.

When I reached the place, I saw only 1 girl sitting outside it. Thinking that maybe other girls will soon come out, I decided to wait. I got a beer in the open bar right next door and nursed it a while.

After 20 mins of waiting I could still see only that girl, so I decided to go in.

I walked to her and indicated to her that I needed to go into the bar. She didn't seem much communicative, so I tried to open the door myself.

Inside were a couple of old white men and 3-4 girls. The girls here are not great lookers.

Hit spankies first by pure accident, had some great talent but the one I pulled out was a fizzle. Mostly my problem, too much beer drinking but you live and learn. Hit several other gogo's, some had 'as good' of talent but they girls took forever to undress. I will interview the girls better, confirm they don't expect a short time hotel visit.

Almost 1am now, heading over to climax to see what I see.
