Why not go along? They will do it again and again, with the next foreigner. They'll ask for 2000p for a trip that should cost maybe 450. You'll be in there haggling with a guy while he's driving, you more likely you'll loose since he has you captive, and really, you want to be talking to your girl and acting cool, not dealing with a cheat.

My first arrival into Terminal 3 on Cebu Pacific...our flight was delayed three hours:( and when we arrived in Manila (9:30 pm) we were the only arriving domestic flight. I know no one wants to pay more, but these people rip their own people off. Personally for me, the taxi rides are dirt cheap compared to the distances you get out of the meter. I rarely have an issue with regular metered taxis here. You want them to respect foreigners? Good luck. These people don't have anything to loose and you want them to respect you. What are you going to do? Your comparison of 500 pesos price to 2000 pesos is not really a reasonable projection of what them might ask for. I'm not going to dick around trying to gain respect in any means over 20-40 pesos. It's not worth it. I'm not going to stress that when I'm paying 4 times or more for the price of a beer in a bar.

Actually, if you look at the USA Sex Guide you will see that this is pretty much standard behavior for American hookers. They'll up sell and re-negotiate during the entire session. They'll even go far as to threaten to not let you finish if you don't pay more. Want BJ? That will cost you more? Want another position besides missionary? That will cost more Mister.

A bit of background

I never give out my real name, mobile number, hotel info, etc. Don't want a stalker tailing me for days. My preference for the week is a good combination of single lady hook up. Category B. They will meet you alone. They will meet you with intent to spend the night with you, perhaps more. Open to going to a resort or some place nice. They might very well want a whole lot more than a week of company. But that's not my problem. I will treat her nice, show her a good time too.

The question gents is how to gracefully dump a category B lady? As I see it. It's a huge gamble to put all your eggs into one lady. It makes sense to have 2, 3, 4 stacked up as alternatives in the event your lady B turns out to be a dog, a 29YO virgin, or comes packing the whole family with a wedding band in the background.

What's your exit strategy?

I've intentionally planned to move hotels at least once during my stay as one exit route. Any other ideas?

An interesting side bar. I'm just amazed how many 18-19 YO ladies are really interested in meeting an old guy like me. I was IMing one. Turned out to be 16. Yikes. I gave her a stern. Don't you even think about it lecture. What the hell are these girls thinking? I will not cross that line.

isn't that the truth! not once has my plane been on time on regional flights with cebu pacific. it's always fun to see other westerners having melt-downs over the delays while i'm waiting on my flight. i, on the other hand, would probably shit a gold brick if my flight actually arrived on time.

Take the elevators by the exit that leads to the Dusit (not the one to Glorietta) and go to the top and bingo, there is it on the left (or virually in front of you). Always great service for me, got my local number into a roamer in 3 minutes

What I used to do, I tell them I am in town on business (works best for Cebu and Manila). But if you are in the provinces, tell them you are into rice/sugar cane/bat guano/tourism. Whats cool about this ploy is you got the option for a return thing. "Hey I got no meetings tonight, can we hook up?" I managed 3 girls in a week this way in Manila. One was hip and ok with what I was doing, the other two did not know.
