Based on the reading done here. Plan to stay in Parque LLares or Poblado.
Do the high end hotels in this area allow girls for the night?
Do you recommend AirBnB or a hotel?

Hotel Du Parc Royal is right on Parque Lleras. Its very nice and girl friendly. I've stayed there. I've also used airbnb and stayed in condos in Poblado. You will need to ask if they are guest friendly to confirm before booking. Personally, I like the airbnb route, but the nice hotels are very good option. If I were staying back in that area, I would opt for something very close to Lleras. The area around Pobaldo and lleras is pretty hilly and not as easy to walk like say Laureles neighborhood.

Also if anyone knows of girl friendly hotels please reply.[/QUOTE]You're going to want to do some basic research. Parque Lleras is an area that's located in Poblado. You can't stay in Parque Lleras without staying in Poblado, although you can stay in Poblado and not in Parque Lleras.
Some of the high end hotels are girl friendly. Some aren't. Simply email the hotels you are interested in and ask about their guest policy.
There are several rentals around Parque Lleras or convenient to Parque Lleras that are girl friendly. You can also search for Poblado Rentals and First American Investment Realty for 2 companies offering girl friendly apartments.

Prep work Before the trip:
Read every post for the past year or so. Reached out to Medellin mongers with a public and private requests for specific contacts. Haven't received any good contacts from anyone. However, I would caution about your conclusion to avoid Fase II and Energy. You may have gone on a bad night for those clubs. Also, Loutron is generally viewed as an overpriced joint, never been there myself though.
