Good to read the reports of James Black. He is certainly doing things differently than I would but he seems to be having a good time.
I just booked another return trip and can't wait to get there.
It has indeed been over a week since he said "final day in Sosua report to come. " Maybe JB007 has just been busy with work. Some jobs are slow for the first three weeks out of the month and then suddenly get jammed with business or clients for the final week. I haven't given up on that final Sosua report from him, yet.
We have to give the guy credit. He visited this forum, asked for advice, and then returned and wrote a handful of Sosua reports, with possibly one more report to come. But there are a lot of "looky-loos" who visit ISG, read trip reports all day, use the information to monger, and then never write a single trip report.
Yeah we were starved for a newbie trip report. He used us for initial info and did give back some good stuff. But the conclusion left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully he will prove you right.
I just booked another return trip and can't wait to get there.
Hopefully you will follow JB007's example and give us all a juicy trip report when you return. Speaking of juicy, don't forget to have some of "Big Dee's" famous ribs while you're in town.

I need to find a way to top my last trip there and that is going to be tough. The bar is set high.
I enjoyed reading your reports. I have a question I know how much Were you paying these young ladies you chose. I mean where are you getting a better deal then you and your friends got earlier for 4000 pesos. Do you preferred to street walker action. Over the Casa.
A better deal is all relative. You may pay X for a street walker but the service is going to be weak. And you pay x 2 at the casa and still have bad service. Its all hit and miss and I truly feel that the monger has 90 percent to do with it. Even though I had a great time with one of my chicas and she's worth the price in my book she may not be the same with you and then you'll feel its a bad deal.
If you have a budget just stick to it and hope for the best.
But the short answer to your question I enjoyed both in Sosua. Since the quality of the street walkers wast to my liking I had to pay up at the casa when the street was slim. In Asia on the other hand I mostly go for street walkers and never barfine gogo chicks.
I'm guessing that about now half are having buyer's remorse. They are thinking about the money they dropped on touts and " 10" chicas and realize if they had taken our advice they would have cut their costs in half and had more fun. I was telling Savepros today that they are probably young rich guys that have well educated wives or girlfriends at home and didn't want to lower their standards but wanted to have some fun. In Sosua on a Friday night and half went home alone, so did the other half lower their standards and go with an "8"? Maybe this created friction in the group because half were making do with what was available and the ones who went home alone resented this. First timers alone on a Friday night (In Sosua) speaks volumes about certain group members arrogance. Even if you can't find something at the clubs, the walk home would present other opportunities. His lack of a follow up report leaves us to speculate. Maybe these trusted touts pulled a closing power move and they are reluctant to tell us about it.
Remember this a supposedly well traveled coordinated group but half seemed to have a ball without the other half. I would rather have a trip report from the ones who broke the group code and freelanced.
For those that show concern about "our" money that "we" spent I suggest please don't worry yourself.
In my posts. I have said that the quality wasn't to our liking, hopefully some of you caught that it was Easter Holiday weekend and I'm sure this affect the number of chicas there.
I didn't want to talk about numbers but I guess I should touch on it a bit. I'd like to say that some of us barely have 500 bucks in our bank accounts and others could have millions. So here it goes.
Say you get a street walker for 2000 k everyone here can assume the time and effort to find a chica.
Or you can have 24 chicas sent to your villa and pay 4000 k.
Over 4 days and 4 chicas we are only paying an 8000 k premium. I'll pay that anytime.

Realize that you will never satisfy all the critics.
They are like piranahs, waiting in the weeds to pounce.
Unless you join the club and do it their way, they'll give you a hard time.
But stay strong, it's your world, rock it anyway you like, and you'll be free!
A great time indeed, different doesn't mean bad. Enjoy your trip.
You and I are alike in the sense that we are both willing to "pay up" for what can be perceived as a first class experience. The private villa route stocked with women and paying up for it under the right circumstances is something that caters to a select group of people that visit the DR. In many of my visits there this is the route I choose to go. It has always provided the best overall experience IMHO.
Some of us enjoy to have the experience and memories of sport fucking 9's and 10's for days on end and not caring about the cost while others like to go to the bar order a beer for 100 pesos, demand change, and then haggle over another couple hundred pesos with a 5 or 6. To each their own.
If you decide to go back let me know. I can put you in touch with some people on the ground there that I use to facilitate my trips.

Downstairs from where I work there's a school, a 7-11, which sells cold sandwiches, a Subway selling fresh toasted subs, and some quality restaurants.
They all do good business at lunchtime because they cater to different tastes, budgets and time constraints. The boss often sends his staff out to bring him lunch, and sometimes the whole management staff have a business lunch catered. They could all make a good argument why it makes sense, in their particular case for what they do, without needing to insult anyone who doesn't agree.
Likewise I have a number of choices to get downtown for an appointment. I can drive, take a taxi, take the subway, take a bus. Depending on the time of dayand how important the meeting is I make a different choice.
It's good that we all share our favorite way to roll, but this is not a "How to survive on $10 a day" manual, so share, listen, learn, answer the questions asked, or just ignore.
How often can we say it? YMMV and there's no one size that fits all.

But you obviously have a point to make so please enlighten me and any others who may have missed your reference?
One other point. The choice I make for lunch, or a ride downtown, in no way infringes on anybody else's choice, nor does it "spoil the market" for anybody.
