That said, while as a general rule the soapies in PYX suck, its always YMMV. Rasputin is known to have a very decent collection. The soapies on 2nd road near Big see (Sabai House, Sabai Dee, etc) can be a hit and miss. Honey is a popular hangout with tourists.

So I would not knock them completely, specially for a first time visitor. Look at this from the lens of a first timer. Well, the guy asking questions says he was in PYX 8 years ago. That makes him pretty much a first timer. Would you not want to experience at least one soapy in PYX, especially when you don't know if you will even be back or head to BKK in the future?

If you're the type to settle for subpar just for the sake of checking off a box, then that is one approach though not one I'd take. Most likely, he'd have far more fun in his limited time on Soi 6 where he can find someone who can really take care of him. Soi Chaiyapoon is another option with plenty there. You said that, in general, Pattaya soapies suck. Why are you defending it now? It's silly to suggest something that sucks based on a possible good experience that may or may not happen while hiding behind the guise of YMMV. Pussy is just not worth that much to me. I would never spend $100 for a hooker. There is a place in Brazil called 4x4 that I used to go to all the time. Back then I could get 2 chicks for $75 for 40 min. These days it will run you $100 for 1 chick.

For me that is a no when there are so many cheaper hookers and non-pros around that are just as good. Of the places I've been around the world, maybe next to Berlin, I've had my best experience in Pattaya. I'm generally bad at remembering names of clubs, but here are two I remember well.
