Any recommendations?[/QUOTE]All things being equal you'd probably find more higher quality women in SP than in Rio. Scandalo, Cafe Photo, etc. That being said Rio has plenty of high quality women. As for scenery the two places are just not in the same league. SP is just one ugly place while Rio is probably 'one of the' if not 'the' most beautiful cities in the world. I mean if you're in Copa you can't get away from beauty IMHO. Anywhere you look is freaking gorgeous.

Also, the attitude wise the two are not even close. Paulistas, the residents of SP are nice. But they're regular, more sophisticated, more reserved, closer to what you probably find at home. If you want to feel the heart of Brazil, that overwhelming positive energy that you can't get away from even if you try you come to Rio! That's why many of us fall in love with this country and want to move here. It's not because of all the hot women, although that of course too. It's because of that positivity that you experience particularly in Rio. I guarantee you after a week in Rio you'd come home a better man. You'd feel yourself a better man.

Attitude-wise there is nothing in this whole wide world like Carioca (female resident of Rio). She's happy, she's always beaming, sexy as whole hell, seem to be always ready to flash anybody in sight (at least in my experience). A little crazy at times but makes your day worth living even if you don't do shit. Carioca is 'bicho a parte' (the whole different animal) how I heard it said few times in other parts of Brazil. Obviously you can find all kinds in the city of 7 mil. And maybe with your luck you stumble upon a manic depressor but I bet chances of that happening in Rio are much smaller than anywhere else on earth.

This is what I'd do if I'd be you. I'd spend couple of nights in SP. Visit Scandalo (try to make it between Wed & Fri from what I understand), do few select privies that people here talk about, maybe a museum if that's your thing, and than take morning flight to St. Dumont. Don't get creative, stay in Copacobana. It's the most central, the most fun, and probably the safest area of the city. The closer you're to the Ipanema side of Copacobana the lower are the waves, but the further it would take you from Mab's, the restaurant that you have to visit at night at least once, because that's where all the street and other girls gather. Scan posts here, visit 4*4, Monte Carlo around 7 ish-8 ish at night but not later. Maybe even Solarium. Suck up to Vaga. If he looks kindly at you he might even take you on the tour of Centro privies and Vila Mimosa. Rio is Brazil man! SP is basically nothing more than financial center. You don't get enough of that in LA?

If you seek the food, art, and culture of New York but don't care about the beach, then Sao Paulo is great. Sao Paulo has a ton to offer but it's very land locked and concrete-laden. If you care about the beach or the sight of green hills emerging from the ocean in stunning views, Rio will be better.

Any recommendations?[/QUOTE]If Beach is important then it's a no brainer. Rio. SP has no beach to offer. Plus seeing Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf are worthwhile. Stunning cafe at top of sugarloaf. Do t miss that. Recently Monte Carlo in Copacabana has been stacked with slim hotties.

But every once in a while, it's really good for a couple months.

Any recommendations?[/QUOTE]I spent 2 weeks in Rio and every girl I had was good in bed. One week in SP, I got two clock watchers and a dead fish. And the hottest girls I've seen are all in Rio. I actually canceled my SP trip and went back to Rio for the rest of my trip.

I've been to New York once and hated it. Went to a Knicks game freedom tower comedy club and never went back. I could see SP as the same concrete drab that New York was.

Rio is amazing. It has an energy when you leave in the morning that can't be matched. Sucobars on every corner if you stay in Copacabana. The breeze from the beach. I don't know how anyone could prefer SP. Colombia can't hold a candle to it. Tijuana is a toilet bowl compared to it. Argentina sucks. Costa Rica has nice rainforest and scenery but you have to leave the Ho area to get to it. Take a tour. Rio scenery is 2 blocks from your hotel. If you are young and in shape, learning how to surf small waves is a must. Give you something to do every morning. Get the juice's flowing. SP just seems boring for a 50 year old. I can only bang so many girls now. One a day usually. Sometimes I feel good and will do 2 or have a 3 way but that's 10 percent if the time. Never been to Thailand but from what I understand there is no major hooker area near the more beautiful beach attractions you see on you tube.

I am in Pattaya now and tomorrow morning will take the ferry over to Coral Island, $1 45 minutes. There are a few nice beaches there. Tien is my favorite.

Like some friends that I have in town now. They have been all over the markets in Bangkok shopping. I drew up an itinerary for them to follow from the beginning but they insisted on deviating and reinventing the wheel. Today I took them to the bazaar here. They immediately realized the time and money they had wasted in Bangkok because the place I took them was better and cheaper.

Then when they were on the way to Pattaya they tell me they are running late because the driver needed a gas coupon so he stopped at a place where they could buy jade. I said do you know anything about buying jade? That is a scam! And sent them a list of scams from online. I am right here for the asking but they think they know better than I am trying to teach them. You can lead a horse to water, but for the most part mfs have to learn on their own.

First two or three nights in São Paulo followed by 5-10 nights in Rio. I've always thought São Paulo had better talent. IMO it's the best in the World for quality and quantity of hot women. But I agree with you that Rio is a much more enjoyable city. In Rio you feel like you're on vacation. In São Paulo you feel like you're in New York. I like New York, but when I'm on vacation, I want to feel like it's vacation.
