There are tons of hotels in pattaya for that price range. Just get on trip advisor or similar and look for the area you want. I like nakula area, but others like other places.

I am posting after a long gap, after reading some posts on FLs on Pattaya Beach road.
I have had an unexpected incident 2 days back and I thought it's worth sharing.
Before that, let me tell you that I am from Singapore, although I am of Indian origin. But I would appreciate it if you don't stereotype me with the negatives you associate with most Indians.
As for mongering, I have been around a fair bit and have been traveling to Thailand for last 18 years. I must have visited Pattaya some 6-7 times, the last one being 2 yrs back. I have tried bar fine, massage, disco as well as some street FLs and I don't have any negative experience to remember for long, till 2 days back of course.
I have been checking out some stores on beach road and decided to take a break and sit down on a ledge to have a smoke, when this FL walked past me and our eyes met. She stopped about 3 metres away and smiled as I smiled back. Then she took out her small mirror and adjusted her makeup, applied lipstick and licked her lips a few times, all the time smiling at me and I played along. Then we had a brief chat and she offered short time for THB 1,000. I recall asking her if there was anything she doesn't do and she said she was fine with everything.
She was a decent looker, in her early 30's I would think, and considering the fact that I had paid THB 6,000 the night before in lady drinks and brafine+lady fee for a girl from Sapphire, I felt this was a divine gift to balance my mongering budgets. It was 11:30 pm.
We took a Baht tuktuk for THB 10 each and I paid as we dropped off a few metres from my hotel, Mike hotel, not far from Walking Street. The ride was about 5 minutes anyway.
As we walked towards the hotel, she held my arm and I held her by her waist and all seemed fine. Just before the hotel, I asked her again if she did everything just to be sure. She said she can do everything with a condom. That is when I suggested that I preferred a BBBJ, but I am strict on using condoms for 'boom boom'.
She said she didn't want to go as she doesn't do BBBJ. I asked her 'so you don't want to go?' and she said 'No'.
So I said 'okay' and she said 'Give me TBH 1,000'.
I told her 'for what?' and she answered 'I come with you, waste time'. I said 'I get it, but I asked you before and you said all good, I paid for the tuktuk and if you want, I can take you back where I picked you from'.
She started to shout in Thai and while I couldn't understand all, I could hear the word 'Condom' and I was sure that she was telling everyone that I didn't want to use condom and that is why she didn't want to go. And she was telling me 'You pay my money'.
People around were looking helplessly but of course, no one cared much.
I started to think if I should just give her THB 1,000 and get rid of her since she was creating a real scene out there. And that's when she struck at me, a full punch with her right fist! Luckily she was a couple of feet away and I managed to avoid the blow which landed on my arms instead of my face. But she really started throwing blow after blow, with fists and nails and since I managed to block most of them, she started kicking at me with her heeled shoes. Now this one was tougher to dodge or block although I averted some.
But once she got physical, I didn't entertain the idea of paying her anymore. Not sure if I did the right thing. I still tried to talk reason and was very careful not to hit back at her. I know, the moment I hot back at her, I would be guilty. And besides, hitting at a woman is not something I subscribe to.
She was relentless. I had already taken a few nasty blows, avoided several more. And she wasn't giving up. That's when I decided to climb up the stairs of Mike Hotel, we were having this brawl just at the entrance. She chased me up the stairs and I used all my defensive mechanism to avert her kicks. Then the hotel staff came in and I managed to slip past the glass door into the lobby. She kept shouting and the two hotel ladies listened to her and then warned her not to create a mess there or they would be forced to call the police. They didn't get to hear my part of the story yet, but they were diligent enough to tell her that if the police came, she would be in trouble as she had been hitting me and everyone saw that. After another 10 minutes of shouting, she finally left. All this while, I didn't leave the scene, I sat inside the lobby, out of her vision but within the reach of her voice.
The hotel staff came back (two ladies) and sat me down, listened to my story and warned me against going out to beach road that night, due to the concern of her possible retaliation. They also warned me against picking a lady from the streets.
They suggested I lodge a complaint with the Police, just to be safe, but since I had no details of the lady, I thought there was no point in inviting trouble.
These two ladies then brought in their first aid kit and applied antiseptic and some Batidine on my wounds. I had 11 scratches on two arms, 6 of them bleeding and two open wounds on my right shin, from her heeled kicks. But I was more disturbed mentally as during my 18 yrs of mongering, this is something that I have never encountered. I had had a few poor sessions sure, but never had any encounter turned violent. Not in Thailand, not in anywhere in the world.
I woke up next day also with a painfully swollen thigh, something which I didn't realize the night before. Must be one of her kicks which didn't leave any visible scar.
Sorry for boring you with these gory details. I do believe that this is a one off incident, but it did shake me hard. All my mongering life, I had wondered how people got into fights with women, and suddenly I was suddenly at the receiving end of it myself.
Is there something I could or should have done to handle this in a better way?

I just saw a few cute girls sitting outside and decided to enter. There was a bar on the left and then on the right towards the back were a few curtained areas. The stairs to the upstairs area were on the back left. Hope that helps. The girl was probably a 7/8, but the service was a 9/10.

I just returned from Pattaya and want to warn you about a woman there. Her name is [blue][Personal Name deleted by Admin][/blue], but she calls herself Apple. We met online, I think thaifriendly, and chatted a little. She's attractive, and we arranged to meet. I asked her how much she wanted but she told me she liked me and wants boyfriend. We had some decent banter and I'm an OK-looking guy under 40, so perhaps foolishly I took her at her word and she stayed with me for the duration of my holiday. Unfortunately on my final day (she knew I was leaving) I popped out of my hotel and returned to find that she had vanished with cash and valuables. I had locked them in a secure drawer and hidden the key elsewhere but she had obviously been playing the long game and worked everything out.
I was literally flying out in a matter of hours and I don't know anyone in Thailand so there wasn't a lot I could do to go to police or track her down. I just want to warn people if you see her around. She is good-looking, fun, and speaks English pretty well but don't be fooled.

You may have been the attempt of a scam or you may have been a victim of not being specific to what you expect from a girl.

If I want BBBJ I tell them that's what I want and if they say no 1/ you do not go or 2/ you have a covered BJ. Do not be embarrassed by discussing what you truly expect as these girls have heard it all and do not assume that all Thai working girls will do BBBJ, anal, CIM etc.

I am with Rob. If you want something specific then make it clearly known from the start. Practice by walking up to random chicks on Soi 6 asking if you can fuck their ass. As with anything, it gets easier with practice.
I would also say that from your description of the initial encounter that this chick chose you, you did not choose her. Be careful with that. A guy a few months back posted about chicks that he did not initially like, but they kept choosing him and he would give in to taking them. Every encounter turned out to be some bullshit. If a chick is choosing you then it may be because she thinks you will be an easy mark, as was with the case of you saying maybe I should give her the money to make her go away. Why, when you could have just gone away yourself and left that broad standing there looking crazy?

I have taken dozens of girls from BR for about ten years in a row and even though I've had my share of problems with them it never ended up in a fight. Only one time it was close but I managed to stay calm, so it didn't escalate.

Even in low season, that's not very much for Pattaya lodging. I recommend using your favorite hotel search engine and looking for a guesthouse east of Soi Buakaow, and along Soi Buakaow itself, in the central part of town. You can probably find a guesthouse on Soi Lengkee or Soi Chaiyapoon, east of Soi Buakaow and west of Third Road. There are also some cheap guesthouses on either side of Soi Buakaow, south of Soi Lengkee going all the way down to where that soi dead-ends into South Pattaya Road -- not far from the legendary Tukcom shopping area.
Two tips: If you don't know Pattaya geography, Google "Groovy Map" and buy an old-fashioned map. It's got just the right amount of detail for the casual visitor. Also, this inquiry belongs in the Pattaya HOTEL forum.
