Hi there,
I am planning my first trip to Frankfurt and am likely to visit Oase.
Is Thursday still the 'dessous' day where the girls wear lingerie, or has that changed?
I really prefer girls wearing something so would want to go on that day, I also read somewhere that a sauna club is exactly the same as an FKK except the girls are always in lingerie. Are there any recommended sauna clubs in frankfurt? I tried looking on here but not had much luck.

Definitely, I was there in Oase last Thursday and unfortunately, it was still the "dessous tag". Me, quite the contrary, I prefer naked woman instead of woman in lingerie but I had that only one night (Thursday night) in Frankfurt so I did it on a dessous tag. If you are into lingerie, Palace has also a dessous tag (on Wednesdays), you may check there too.

If there are girls with financial services backgrounds now working the FKKs to make ends meet after losing their jobs and they fail to meet the club style of providing DFK, BBBJ, DATY, etc... then they can expect to in economic terms to be providing less of a deal than other girls who do more for the same €50. These girls are not providing the minimum level of service and lose any competitive advantage that they may have being new and fresh to the club. They have to be very good looking to be able to snare the business since attractive looks does provide a competitive advantage and some punters will discount the lesser service for the chance to bang a pretty model. We have seen reports from customers to have admitted to such. Even I have done so I admit as well.

Your guess is as good as mine. I can only hope for a V shaped economic situation as opposed to a prolonged painful experience of the Japanese in the 1990s. Speaking to an economist at a sauna club we discussed how in 2007 we never thought that the credit crisis would be deep and this long with still no ready end in sight. It goes to show that even some experts do not have any more insight than you or I.
In the FKK clubs you do meet some really interesting types, dentists on conference (likely story), transport planners (we discussed German road design compared to road design and road furniture in the English speaking world), telecommunication engineers (lots of them in London attend the strip club scene due to the location of their offices), MBA students escaping for the weekend from their studies, business men en route to another destination, sales people, sex tourists and messe visitors.
There is diversity in the girls that work in the clubs but there is also marked diversity in the customers as well. Ordinary men who want to sample a bit of men's Disneyland in Germany.
The FKK and saunaclubs is a clean, legal, safe environment. I hope with all my heart that they still continue and attract further business in terms of customers and girls.
I have discussed this with a fellow Briton that when we are in the clubs, all our Earthly worries lift from our shoulders. A wonderful feeling to have.

Ja, Donnerstag ist Dessous Tag in FKK Oase. Although from reports some girls pay lip service to the concept of Dessous so you may enjoy a few girls in near naked state in any case.
FKK Palace has its Dessous Tag on Mittwoch and Straps Tag on Montag meaning that the girls wear socks or stockings.
FKK World has its Dessous Tag on Dienstag.
Even in the sauna clubs of Nord Rhein Westfalen and particularly Golden Time you will have girls working the contact rooms topless and wearing just a a tiny G string. For me this is a nice look.
I do not usually get out to the FKKs and saunaclubs during the usual working week so do not get to visit during Dessous Tag to my relief, but if all the girls were dressed up as sexy nurses or naughty adult aged and sized school girls then that will be incentive for me to make the effort.

Ja, in the sauna clubs the girls generally are in lingerie or bikinis whereas a FKK by its name means that the visitors including the men are in various states of nakedness.
For me, sauna clubs are more associated with the Golden Triangle area of Nord Rhein Westfalen. These would be Golden Time, Villa Vertigo, Planet Happy Garden, Atrium, Living Room in Germany and in the Netherlands there is Yin Yang, Bada Bing, Sans Souci and the sole Dutch FKK of ZaZen.
There are more learned writers than I who know the Frankfurt sauna club scene but as far as the more popularly reported on clubs in this forum that have their own thread there are none.
In any case in the FKKs you will find that many girls where some jewellry, carry a hand bag, wear high heels and war a towel around themselves or a waist sash of some sort. Is that lingerie enough for you?

If I ever remember to bring my own condoms I would be using standard durex brand featherlite.

Whenever I visit any club, I will try a hot looking model even if she provides average service. If they have a really bad rep, then I would think about it. If the do not give bbbj, then forget about it! BBBJ is one of the reasons it would be worth trying a pretty model.

The clubs south of the [i]Weisswurstaequator[/i] are not up to the same standards in Hessen and NRW. This has been said several times.
You might try Sudfass Oase in Pasing. Not read good things about it though.
The consensus is that when in Muenchen, travel to Augsburg (d.h. leave Muenchen) and visit ColA (Colosseum in Augsburg).

With Euro now at 1.25 per USD - does anyone vision FKK clubs may raise prices? I doubt it, but looking at this history it is falling rapidly and some are projecting they could see levels pre-2000, where I believe it was ,90 per USD.

If you've read my article on FKK club price inflation over the past ten years, my conclusion is that inflation has been just about zero.

As to whether the clubs and the women will react to the exchange rate, my guess is it will have no effect. If it were to have an effect, it would be on the clubs with strong tourist traffic. Historically though exchange rates have gone up and down and pricing has not been affected.
