By the way I think your description of an average low end chongo session is pretty valid..of course there will always be exceptions.
After two trips to quito I decided its not worth dealing with the altitude sickness for what I was getting. If there wasnt that problem I still might go back for the hell of it but I wouldnt expect much.

Everyone must go to quito at least once. With tungs list and the cheap costs you would be a fool not too(or just not intrested).
I stayed there about 3 weeks. I was there alone and I travelled by bus alone. I went alone down South by taxi and then I just picked up a bus to go back to the centre. Suburbs in the South are dangerous for tourists. I went a few times in the good suburbs in the North of Guaya and no problem.
If you go out at night, just take a taxi, that you call in advance. Personnaly I don't really like to go out at night time. Avoid buses or walking around at night, except perhaps in the good streets in the center and in some good suburbs in the North.
I didn't have the feeling that Guaya was so dangerous....If you follow the rules mentionned above, you won't have problems.
Don't forget that Guaya used to be more dangerous. For ex. just to go from the airport to the center, you really risked of being stolen or kiddnaped. That's not the case anymore...
Furthermore taxis are cheap in Guaya....You can go nearly everywhere for 5 USD. If they ask more, they try to ripp you off. To go to the calle 18, it's 3 USD. Of course this is the price during the day, at night expect the double.

They were allways going and had some good talent. It was a good place to go even from guayaquil as it was open during the day and you could go there and have a bite to eat talk to the hos a couple of beers and fuck a couple of them. It was on the way back to quito also so I'd pass by there on the way out of town.
Oh I forgot one of the nicaragua fucks in my previous post replying to meat loaf. The landlady. That's right the sexy motherfucking landlady, how did I forget her. She was mid 30's had a gorgeous face and the prettiest long black hair. Her and the wife were friends and one of the times the wife went back to ecuador for a couple of weeks she calls up the day she left and asks for the wife. I'm like well she's just left to ecuador, thought you knew that? (she did) then she asks if I'd like to go out to eat/dance. I'm like a well I guess so. We go and do the formalities of a couple of drinks and whatever it was then end up in a motel fucking our brains out. I did my best to rock her world. She wouldn't let me take photos though. Anyhow I was getting fucked silly in nicaragua and the job I had there I just had to spend about 20-30 hours a week on and had a free reign to schedule work when I wanted so I could get out of the house anytime, take long lunchs and have little fuckfests. Great place lots of fond memories.
I'm from Guayaquil and lived there numerous years and travel there frequently, so here's my opinion.
Guayaquil is no longer that dangerous as described by other posters. A few years ago you would get robbed (not frequently) coming out of the airport (mostly Ecuadoreans who would bring thousand of dollars and people who would inform neighbors -the wrong people). I've never been robbed, my parents or any sibling has been robbed - and this is because we don't carry thousands of dollars in cash to Ecuador like other people !
A few years ago people driving expensive cars would get ambushed and get kidnapped and dropped somewhere far away. Also, people would follow you after taking money from an ATM and rob you a few blocks away, or rob if you are seen carrying a laptop, etc.. Nowadays you can definately transit thru most places in the Northern part of Guayaquil without any problems - except Sauces, La Alborada, Samanes and the Terminal Terrestre area. Hanging around the "suburbio" is crazy, as this is a low class neighborhood and if you appear to have money or are carrying anything expensive (gold, watch, sneakers) most likely you will get robbed (especially at night when there aren't too many people walking the streets)
The few precautions to take in Guayaquil, like any other city would be to take taxis at night, never go in a bus at night, or walk in suburbio or city centre alone at night. In some parts of the city centre, if you look anything foreign and presumed to have some money, most likely you will get robbed.
Areas in the city centre which are safe are Malecon, Cerro Santa Ana, some areas in 9 de Octubre. Also, whenever I've taken out money I normally use the ATM's in malls or regularly frequented places, and I will not exit immediately (especially after withdrawing amounts higher than 1,000+).
Most of friends have been robbed (car kidnappings, assaulting bus paxs) before, but now it's limited.
Also, GFE is Guayaquil would be difficult if you don't speak spanish and would be quite different from DR or Peru, where they are more impressed by foreigners. I've traveled to DR and Peru, and I can tell you that both places are so easy to meet women; however, if you leave outside of Guayaquil and Quito, you will meet amazing women looking for a serious relationship. In Guayaquil you can still meet women looking for serious relationships, especially for women above 26+ and are still single, as they are more committed than a 20-24 yr old who prefers to party, act like spoiled brat (applies to rich girls) and usually take a while to put out..
I would never suggest anyone to disregard Guayaquil to come visit this beautiful city. But if you're only interested in mongering, I wouldn't suggest Guayaquil- rather Quito as the choices are far greater of chongos and outcall service and it's inexpensive.
Any large city in South-America has it riff raffs. Some are worse. Then others; but I would not get paranoid over guayaquill. So better stay low profile. Leave ye rolex at home. And certainly NOT walk arround with tons of cash bucks like Elvis said;.) or with a new flashy digicamera.
Avoid shaddy barrios after dark. And take a cab. I always keep my wits about me if I am on a girl hunt. So that means NO booz. And NO weed;.)
If you stick to the rules you should be doing fine.
I myself am under the spell of the many pretty hot assed babes I see in guayaquill. :.) Besides the climate is also way better then cold Quito:.)
Don't forget to carry a xerox copy of your passport;.) I would leave the original at the hotel.

I am responding to your GYE comments in the GYE forum. Actually, I didnt say that the mongering in GYE sucked. In fact there are some great looking chicas there. I just said that there were limited venues in GYE for value mongering that were SAFE. I have only one session in Quito, and of course, am not qualified to give any opinion on Quito mongering. As well, I only speak to value mongering as I have not sampled the other options (strip clubs, take out, out call) that are in GYE.
Value Mongering Options in Central GYE
Calle 18 = Great value mongering. Tons of chicas. UNSAFE: Because you are out in public in an unguarded area with 200 drunk ecudoareanos. Every single guayaquilleno told me that this place is dangerous. There is no security and no one to pat down the patrons for weapons. Stabbings are a regular occurrence. This is a pity because the selection is awesome and the price is right. If you must go: 1) don't dress gringo 2) don't go alone: bring an ecudorean companion or two. 3) Go only in the daytime. 4) Don't carry any valuables.
Habana Club - (Septima y General Gomez or General Lopez?) - Too far from the centro and mostly fatties and old hags.
City of Duran - All the clubs are closed
Salamane - (Quito and Velez in GYE Centro) - By far the best option - mostly young chicas, many chubbies and many beauties. Price $12.50 for 25 minutes. They pat you down at the door - so security is not a problem. Be sure to take a cab to and from this place and stop right at the door.

Was in Guayaquil several months ago and hit several clubs of which I do not recall the names. Upon leaving one of them one of the guys outside I started a conversation with and he gave told me about a place called the Stockmarket. I was running out of options and figured what the hell I would give it a try. We left the city headed for Duran, through Duran and up to a large iron gate with a "guard" using that term loosely as it was some 20's looking kid with a walkie talkie. he opened the gate and closed it behind us as we started down a very dimly lit dirt road lined with fields and not much else to speak of. At this point I was really starting to get nervous as to where in the middle of freaking nowhere I was going. Through another gate yet again still going but noticing fairly nice houses on a coastline and finally up to a 10-12 ft cement wall with razor wire and yet another gate. As the gate opened to reveal a beautiful villa with quite a grand looking entrance. As I sauntered inside there were approximately 12-15 girls and one other guy, the girls looked to be about 6-8 in quality and price was $160 for 2 hours upstairs. All the girls were latin and light to medium skin tone. Lets just say my next trip back I will be heading straight there in a hurry!

Just curious when you were in Duran, I was there in Oct, Nov and El Gato was Open, and Imperio was Re-open at a new Location that day, They were in the process of setting up when we went in with about 10-15 chicas, but they were still open.

I was there in October, nothing special...10$ to get in, 2 Pilsners the same old . You walk down some stairs and there is a stage with some girls dancing, an a bar with 10 avg (6-8) chicas sitting down dressed in street clothes, they approach you give you a quick free lap dance, then ask for 50-100$ for FS. Why would I pay that when I could
A. Get an escort for 2 hours at my place
B. Go to Duran an get 7 or 8 chicas for that price

I went to the old location of the imperio/el gato complex. It was clearly closed and abandoned. however, I went to the old location.
I didnt know at the time that Imperio had relocated. Someone else said that the city of duran shut down all chongos to beautify the city.
