Ladyboys are still everywhere but they seem less aggressive and annoying this trip. Has anybody else noticed that? There are also fewer ladyboys on Beach Rd late at night (after 3 AM) than I have seen in years past. There is absolutely no problem carrying that kind of cash into Thailand. The max you can carry is equivalant to 10000 USD.

[/QUOTE]You are amazing. You truly learned a lot of good stuff, far beyond the norm. Does show that RTFF is more value than I thought possible. A lot of very balanced views and some amusing but all too true.

One point though, you may not realise fully that it is hard to learn from the mistakes of others. You maybe have to learn for yourself by making your own mistakes, but perhaps less times, as you will recall others that made a similar mistake. Normally one needs to make a mistake perhaps 3 times to really learn, but I trust you maybe can avoid that many mistakes.

The optimists are probably prone to mistakes more-so, so keeping a pessimistic outlook and then being pleasantly surprised can be better. You start aware of most of the pitfalls, and with somewhat realistic expectations, so that is great.

Christian G you are correct about the room price of B370.

My wingman was making arrangements to rent a condo at View Talay 5 (B9000/ month) and so I wandered around Jomtien a bit. I remembered a gentleman's club somewhere nearby and checked my notes. Sure enough Kit Kat Club was very close. Kit Kat is on the baht bus route. Going towards Jomtien, get off the bus just before it makes the left turn onto Jomtien Beach Road. It's next to Country Roads which is visible from the main road. The club is owned by a man from The Netherlands.

I chatted with him briefly. Nice guy.

We visited at 5 pm on a Monday afternoon. There were about a dozen girls working. For me about 3-4 were doable. I eyed Opal and she quickly came over for a ladydrink. Apparently she found me to be irresistible as she was all over me immediately. She was 35 yrs old, black hair, lighter skin, and had a very sexy dress on. She was definitely one of the older girls there but they did have a few young ones. In a few minutes we were going upstairs to the room. The room had a raised, comfortable bed with flashing lights below it. The shower was in the room. Except for the bed's light show, the room standard was slightly better quality than you would normally see in a good short time hotel.

Opal performed quite well. BBBJ followed by covered boom boom in multiple positions. Cost was B1500 which included the room. Overall I had a very nice time here and will return on my next trip.

General conditions in Pattaya. For more detailed info, including, specific guesthouses, prices, transportation, netcafes, walking street, tips on saving money, soi 6, etc, google ************** If you are a rich, (stupid, money no object) horny monger who just wants sex, Pattaya is still a go. If you don't mind paying in advance bar fines that average 500-2000 baht in hopes your take home girl will perform, Pattaya is still a go. Lots of selection, many very pretty with enhanced tits, but mostly young and stupid with few speaking English with any facility.

If you're like me and don't pay in advance (cardinal rule of mongering) do not waste your money and time on Pattaya. Almost impossible to separate the girls from their bar owner chains and avoid bar fines, etc. I even got a hotel ON soy 6 within a few meters of all the bars and found it impossible to get them to shortime on their own, without paying a barfine even if you try to meet them off work hours. I think many LIVE on site, so hard to do.

Got laid 3 times, one of which was good. Still some good ones on Beach Road, but hit or miss on performance and they hide their fat baby damaged bodies making it impossible to see what you're paying for and non-professional, hard-core. Detailed info including specific hotels, transport, prices, tips for saving money google ************** The one good lay and massage was free from a woman I picked up on the Baht bus, older woman but still attractive and good personality. Other was beach road fatty who disguised it but still nice personality and wanting to please. Other was a pretty 23 year old that did not know how to fuck and I threw her out.

Pattaya is a overpriced tourist trap town now with Thais that can barely conceal their disdain for you and just want your money and want you to leave. Many Thais are ill-mannered and discourteous compared to Filipinos and quick to anger, if you do not agree with them. Pattaya prices were 40-100% higher than Dumaguete.

Pattaya vs Dumaguete:

Dumaguete friendly, accommodating, cheap. Pattaya many attractive whrs, very business mercenary, Dumaguete, hard to find attractive, but easy and cheap to get with often GFE. Pattaya expensive, unfriendly, not accomodating. Dumaguete, speaks some English. Pattaya, nostly forget it, you must have Thai. Dumaguete, easy to get around, cheap reliable transport. Pattaya, spread out, hard to get around, hard to find things, transport corrupt, expensive and unreliable. Thais, unfriendly, confrontational, get mad quickly. Filipinos,-accomodating, nice, friendly, non-confrontational. Forget Pattaya, and forget Bangkok it's a waste of money and time.

I definitely paid B1500 including the room. I had a very good experience but I realize Kit Kat may not be everybody's cup of tea.
