I have been to these places in central and south America so much that the level of discovery is sorely missed.

Now those trips end up being cookie cutter, kind of like groundhog day stuff. Don't get me wrong, I have a blast and never leave disappointed because I get exactly what I want when there due to the network I built up.

It just lacks the adventure and discovery level that is part of the fun of making the trips. After 30 years of mongering, I don't have much territory left that I haven't stomped across. I've been all over Europe too many times, same with central and south America. Asia is the only area left to experience something new.

There is also the other side of the scale to consider. What if I go all that way and don't get exactly what I like when I know I can hop a flight to Cartagena and 4 hours later be pounding my girls asshole and getting blasted for cheap.

It's true what someone said, you can have a lot of fun in Pattaya but only for a few days. I had to leave the city.

I did walk through the other areas like LK Metro and BJ bars. Maybe it wasn't the right time, but I never saw cuties there.

Did try to gogonutz-style massasge on the south side of Pattayasaisong 13, near Soi Buakhao. Forgot the name but you can't miss it. Good if you have no other choice, but it was like 2500-ish. For that price I'd save up for a go-go girl guaranteed to be hot.

You have an idea in your mind of what you are trying to do, you do it. You may crash and burn and you may end up without what you want but you have to do you. It is your money, it is your time, it is your trip. You spend it the way you want to.

Chase that unicorn. Chase that fantasy. Chase that dream.

When someone tells you do the opposite, put that in the not helpful column and move on.

When someone tells you some good advice on how to get what you want, take that advice and put in the helpful column and try to work that into your plan.

There is nothing wrong with telling someone you disagree and suggesting a few different options.

What you should also include is thoughts and ideas that help him accomplish what he is seeking, no matter how you feel about it personally.

Too often I see people telling others how to get what the one giving advice likes and wants instead of helping the guy get what he wants.

Just because you don't agree with it or think it's a waste of time does not invalidate what he wants. That is what he wants, help him get it the best you can.

People are different. What you want could be different than what they want. Different strokes for different folks.

You think it's a bad idea to find facebook girls. OK, say that but why not also use your experience to try and help him make the most of the approach he wants to take. Give him some tips on how to do it better, how to increase his chance of success.

I am making a never-before summer trip to Pattaya in under 2 weeks! (Well, summer in the northern hemisphere). I planned this trip back in early June, primarily due my desire to see my Soi 6 bar girl Secret. Last report, we had a thing going. Before I head back there, I thought I would give an update.

Things got heated between us for a while. We were using the L word (me, not quite meaning it, but it was fun to say and to hear) and texting for relatively long periods each day. The bar girls are not allowed to be on their phones, so she would sometime send a quick message on her way to get a meal, or when she went to the toilet, etc. She didn't do it for long times, but I saved the messages and over a full day they become fairly lengthy. But when she stopped doing it, it was sudden. Yeah, in mid-July her texting dropped way down. I knew that she was depressed about her job. She wanted to quit and go home, feeling that no man would ever love her now that she was a "bad person", and said that she smiled on the outside and would appear to have fun, but she was crying on the inside. But why she suddenly cut back on her texting I was not sure.

She was approaching being a bar girl for 5 months, and that is likely sufficient time for a "good girl" to start turning into a hard core bar girl I suppose. She has never asked me for money or complained to me, she simply just cut back on her talking to me. I tried to think of reasons. Was it simply we had been away too long and the passion just died down, possibly to return later? Did she find a BF? Was she too ashamed that she feared I would eventually reject her? But nothing makes sense.

But things had clearly cooled, and likely it was for the best. I was about to give up but last week she told me she had left the bar. She mentioned her bar had a rules change she couldn't accept so she took an indefinite leave of absence. She had kept a flat all this time in the town where she had held factory job, with the intent to go back to. She went there to figure things out but, she still wasn't texting me that much, and she clearly had plenty of time to do so if she wanted. She told me she would go back to Pattaya to meet me.

I wondered if she would be able to stay away. I certainly believe she hates her job. And maybe with low season she is not making much money and that might be depressing her. She has said she wants to hurry up and make the money she wants to make then get out of there. Better to do 3 men a day than 1. She hates it, but it shortens the time she has to be a bar girl. IDK. But I still wondered what it was that started to turn her off to me. I mean, again, it is for the best overall I am sure. I am over 30 years older, her English is not all that great and my Thai is dismal, she would probably not want to live in the US and I sure don't want to live in Thailand, etc. We mesh well together, but it could never work out.

But one more GFE fantasy with her would have been nice.

I appreciate that she has never asked me for money or that she is lying. She could, right now, be telling me of her love and all this other stuff and while I am not sure I would be giving her a lot of cash, I was up to taking her on a trip to Phuket at least.

But this morning she texted me some sad faces. I asked why, as the night before she was going out shopping with friends. She told me she was going back to work at the bar again. Ugh. I asked why and she said she still had a responsibility to her family. I expressed concern that, like many bar girls, she would hate her work but feel she was making too much money to leave it. She agreed some girls were like that, but said nothing about herself. I said I knew this was difficult for her, but wondered if she was looking at me like a client, saying she didn't talk to me like she used to. She said "I never looked at you as a customer. " I used the L word then it was my bed time. When I woke up I told her good morning, then she replied with "Sorry I don't have time for you. " There are two ways to take that. It could be like "sorry dude, but I just don't have time for you to keep bothering" or it could be "I am sorry but with my work and all I am so busy right now. ". She did immediately add "But my feelings never change. " I said "You used to have the time. But I need to trust you. " She said "thank you that you still trust me. " Better than her saying "dude, I am a bar girl. You should never trust me!" haha I ended up saying "You are under stress. Not fair of me to increase your stress. " And yes, she is under stress and while I have tried to bring her comfort, having a nice guy tell you things when you think you are bad and when your customer are making you feel bad about yourself, it can add to the depression. So, I guess I will only text her if she first texts me from now on. Sigh.

So, that could possibly, I suppose, be our last message for a while. I will try to keep quiet. She knows I am to be there in 2 weeks and if she wants to be with me she can write me. If she doesn't, she will certainly see me, which will be awkward, but whatever. I am going back as she wanted me to, and while I still have no idea what happened, I have to believe it will be for the best.

Heck, my Thai GF is writing me more now and we are already planning another cruise in December. I have to admit I am learning a bit towards marrying her. She is an awesome woman, so why am I evening thinking about a bar girl? (Ummm, better breasts, and awesome vag, etc! Sigh).

Secret is really a great woman and has never tried to use me. Maybe, as she turns harder as a bar girl and desperate for money, she may start to use others. I feel sorry for her, that nice women like these feel they have to do this work despite hating it. No, I won't go all moral here nor give up mongering as, despite them hating it, they need the money and they do appreciate kind, compassionate men who have needs as well.

If Secret just needs some time, or if she found that BF or finally realized we had no future and she doesn't wish to use me. IDK. Maybe I will find the answers in two weeks. But while this is actually the best outcome from this ill-fated relationship I could have hoped for I suppose, it still as me bummed out a bit. She doesn't have time for me. Ouch!

But guys, don't be worried. If a girl lets you go, go find a 2 dozen more, and that it what I plan to do. I will have 16 days in LOS. I might take 4 or 5 days to see the GF, but I will have at least 10 days in Pattaya. I may feel a little less inclined to visit parts of Soi 6, but I plan on having a good time.
