The casas are almost impossible to find alone. They are unmarked and usually in residential areas. I have been to one deep in Pasay 2 years ago (with 2 wing men as back-ups) , and I have no idea where it was or how to get back to it.

Prices are higher than the cheapest bars because the driver has to get a cut. They are all different.

You just have to ask a taxi driver to take you to one. If he doesn't know or won't, just get out and ask the next driver.

D Cups gave me the idea that there are many different types of wingmen, so I thought I would list a few that I have experienced. Please go ahead and add to the list below and any funny stories you have had about Wingmen you have had.

Deer in Headlights: These guys have never been to a girlie bar and are totally shocked by what is going on. I just enjoying watching their eyes pop out of their head like kids in a candy store. I have an friend who I took to a bar and 4 girls pounced on us. 2 on him and 2 on me. Dabbler: These guys are not regulars or monger planners. More often than not they enjoy the bars and attention of the girls, but rarely barfine them. I took a friend for last drinks at a freelancer bar one night but he did not know it was a freelancer bar. We were both pretty wasted and within minutes we were talking to 3 girls. 1 for me and 2 for him. Even civilians are a little harder to pick up than elsewhere in Phil. If you have the courage, there's a local, low-end shopping area in Alabang where the civilians were more friendly than at the Festival Mall.

The good news is that Alabang isn't especially far from Makati.

If you are looking for an excellent restaurant that is both an elegant, fine dining establishment but also has a casual feel to it then try Zuni Restaurant in Greenbelt 5 (ground floor).

Apparently Myron's, Felix and Zuni are very competitive towards one another being in the same strip. For me, Zuni wins hands down because of the excellent well-trained servers, the quality of food and the ambiance of the place.

It's not a "cheap eatery" but it is always consistently good.

You posted you know how to gain access to the hotel without going through security and by-passing the hotel lobby main desk thus avoiding the walk of shame, how?

1) Walk in yourself and head towards elevator. Tell the girl to walk up to the 2nd floor (giant stair case right in front). You take elevator to 2nd floor to pick her up in the bar, outside the bar etc.

2) You and the girl can walk in through the side entrance (not for the main hotel) , but rather where the banquet hall side is (get taxi driver to drop you off at the Starbucks). There will be security there (but minimal). Come in, and then take escalator to 2nd floor (instead of keep walking straight to main lobby). Once you are on the 2nd floor, take elevator to your room.

I am getting ready to take my third trip to Phils. Will do 4 nights in Makati / Manila and 3 in Cebu. I am looking for fresh info on the SW scene on Burgos and also recent info on EDSA scene.

I arrived in Manila last weekend intent on losing my virginity, my phil mongering virginity that is. Needless to say, I was somewhat overwhelmed by the traffic, the heat and the polution, but thats another set of topics whatsoever. Had no issues with immigration or customs at MIAA. I had booked City Garden via Agoda for about $80 a night (thanks to suggestions on this board). I found it to be clean, reasonable priced and the free wifi a bonus.

My first night, although somewhat tired from my New York / Hong Kong / Manila trip I ventured out about 8pm. First, took a little walk down Makati ave, down to the MacDonalds and back. Was propositioned a few times, mainly by girls offering massage with extras. One girl, seemed pretty young and very persistent following me until I ducked into a 7-11. She held my hand as we walked up to the City Garden. She didn't say anything about my misdirection to the Oxford. As we walked up, I was pretty worried about the "Walk of shame" and what I would tell the doormen. I was thinking the "she's my niece" wouldn't work. Anyway, we walked into the lobby with my head held high and ignoring the stares from the other guests in the waiting area. No questions asked by the doormen.

We got to the room and I offered her a coke or something. I thought if she was really out to take advantage she would ask for something expensive from the mini bar, but she didn't want anything. She sat down on the bed and told me to take my shirt off and she would give me a massage. I said I would if she took hers off. Fast Forward to having all our clothes off and cuddling. I also realized that she didn't come with me for my good looks or my youthful age (both of which have since departed). I was left wondering if I should text her the next day for a repeat or not. Certainly she was attractive and not overtly money grabbing. But should I or shouldn't I?

Anyway, thats a long winded first report. I realize all ended extremely well, but that a few things I would do differently next time. One, is that I wouldn't give my real hotel out in the taxi. Two that I would take Cialis before I went out.
