Back in the day I used stay in a hotel near the Ayala Mall. Usually the Elizabeth. My reason was it was easy for a new girl to get to. I could meet them and walk them over to my hotel. Occasionally I'd go trawling around the mall, but that got less fruitful. Perhaps I just got older and uglier.
On my last trip in 2018 the girls mostly just came straight to my hotel. So I'm wondering if I should change my strategy for my March trip. I'd still stay in hotel since I like room service to change my sheets between guests. But maybe I look for something close to S / T hotel so I have that option. Not really into the bar scene even if they are reopening. Perhaps there's other factors like proximity to the CBD or restaurants that I should consider instead.
All suggestions welcome. Here's a pic to sweeten the deal. Daddy's little helper from back in a better time.

At time I used them and the hotel for a change and no hassle. Have a car so even easier.
Prefer to stay around Ayala not the back waters.

I found these good for a longer stay as they include clothes washers, cooking facilities etc. Balconies also added additional options to the evenings.
As you say, being so close to the Mall meant no need to wait for someone to arrive (or not). Just go on with your day and walk down when she messages that she is in the mall waiting. Lots of cheap and easy options for coffee and interview.

The security is outside and they're mainly concerned with what's in her handbag. Cursory check.
But the biggest plus for me is its location next to Ayala mall. This is the premiere mall in Cebu and a great landmark for new friends coming into the city as well as having lots of dining options. There's lots of day game too but sometimes it can be difficult to figure out if you are the hunter or the hunted.

We speculated that too many over-eager mongers were getting hit by trikes and it was bad for tourism.
