On my first night at AC, I barfined Roxanne from Atlantis and she actually stayed long time the first night. I fact, she did not leave until about 3pm the next day.

Maybe she liked the splendour and luxury of Lewis Grand to want to leave too quickly.. :P

..or maybe I'm a lot more "hansum" than her pinoy bf, whom I did later bump into on my last night. He was the daggiest looking streetkid, if I ever saw one. If I had to guess his line of work, I would think professional beggar!

Fair enough we are all free to air our views. But looking at CP it does not look like a dump even though PB is better. You can belive me I have both stayed in class hotels and real dumps, I was in Radison SAS in London last month, for sure pure class but I don´t need to spend a lot of money just on Hotles. It is just that lot of guys refer Hotels as a dump if they are not 4-5 Star. Personally I like apartments not Hotels, but going to PI the first time I think a Hotel would be a better option.

Regarding PG, It came into interest but the drive distance has but me off to be honest.

I have been reading the Cebu board and maybe I should give it a try and book a domestic flight.

Do you recommend I should arrange this all in advance, or just book for AC and see how it goes?

After two or three people suggested Subic Bay, one hour from AC, you sent a post asking about a beach (Waikiki?).

Okay, I'll bend over backwards and inform you that Subic Bay has a beach. Not a great beach, but it has sand, water, beer, and available women. You will find reports in AC section, and Olongapo section. Some respected members have recently mentioned staying at Blue Rock, Wild Orchid, Arizona. All three have pools, beach access, and nearby babe-bars in case you didn't already bring your fiance from an AC brothel.

No need to get on an airplane (you said you didn't want to) and I have no idea why people suggested Puerto Galera. It's a nice place, fair enough, but I would never suggest it to a newcomer. If you do PG or Tagaytay, make sure you have an intersing conversation partner for the long ride. Sex partners, especially the AC variety, don't always make the best conversation partners.

Sixteen days in Luzon, mostly in AC, and you will meet ladies from all areas of the Philippines. Besides Manila, it is one of the most cosmopolitan areas of the Philippines.... and that goes for foreigners as well as the various Philippne Islanders. Ask questions about their hometowns. They will love you for it and you will be educated by an uneducated (by Western standards) woman who spends her AC evenings on a comforable bed, with her legs spread, making money for her family, for her, and for her future. She'sll make you feel good, and more than a few make themselves feel good too. Love em for it.

If you like her, and you overcome your fear of flying domesic, go visit her parents. Don't expect to find a guest room in the one or two room nipa hut shack that she grew up in. But be forewarned that the PC bozos here and there will suggest that meeting parents is unacceptable.

For someone with more than ten days, I would suggest a trip to Visayans, but you never know about those Philippine airplanes. They fall out of the sky as often as Suplicdo boats crash into the bottom of the ocean.

If all you are looking for is a clean room, a fun time, and plenty of girls then just make your arrangmeents to stay in Ac for the whole two weeks. Unlike what many say, you can enjoy yourself plenty for that amount of time. Near the end of it you may be getting bored during the days, but if you are partying it up you will most likely b4e looking just to relax instead of running around anyways.

If you do get bored and decide you want to go someplace else, it is very easy to make other arrangments once your there to travel elsewhere, wether on Luzon or to another of the islands.

There are way to many bars to realy recommend any one above the others, everyone has their own personal preferences. When you get there, bar hop around, check them all out, and you find the ones you like. They are all realy close together, even the ones on Perimeter Road compared to many other parts of the world so it isn't hard to do.

Realy, you can relax on this. If you keep asking all of these questions you are going to be making plans that will probally change within 24 hours of being on the ground anyways. Just make arrangments for the entire time in AC, and modify once you get there as you see fit.

Thanks for your tip, I did not ask too many questions in the beginning, but your idea has acrossed my mind.

I think I will stay most of my stay in AC but might do some nights in the beginning in Manila after a long flight.

Junior was actually doing well contributing to the Philippine board, but had problems on the Thai board. His enemies then came over to the Phil. thread and attacked him here. They then disappeared as soon as Junior was banished. I was kind of surprised, but when I read some of the posts on the Thai thread I could see he was part of the problem.

At least that's the way I remember it. I'm not trying to defend Junior, nor criticize Jackson't moderation, but it just shows how things can get out of hand.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to BD's field reports. It will be interesting to see how things turn out for him.

Regarding your message to Jimmy Red Cab, I think most people who plan a trip for the first time will read the first say 3 pages, if they don´t find what they are looking for they start to ask questions. She: Yeah, got a baby 4 months ago.

She: I didn't tell him.
Me: Philipino?
She: No, guy from UK.

So, any guys from UK out there, maybe you're father and aren't aware of it.
The lucky shot must have been then approx. July 2007.

Also pretty unusual, that the girl didn't tell the guy about it to get some money.
But who knows? Maybe even she isn't sure about it.

I don’t know whether it is conscience or paternal instinct but I could not bear the thought that I would have a child languishing in poverty anywhere.

If I was told about it, I would engage a local independent lawyer or something to arrange blood test for DNA to verify paternity. If I was indeed the father, I would make arrangement to send money and seek immigration consultants to repatriate them if possible or if not, make frequent visits to AC (that can’t be bad).

And that is just the easy part, the toughest part would be breaking the news to mum/dad, thank god I’m single.

Some years ago I had a good thing going with this tight hottie. One day she told me I got her pregnant but she terminated the pregnancy. She was on the pill, but apparently that stops working when you are on antibiotics. I never saw her again despite my efforts to contact her. I live in a country where single mothers are supported with a generous welfare system, so I often wondered if maybe she lied to me and I might have an offspring somewhere.
