IMO the smartest thing to do is to get a cab to drive you around the gym area. I used to walk that area but not anymore because the area is just full of thieving cops just waiting for gringos to rob. Never had a problem when taking a taxi.

Cienega32, excellent, and what should be obvious advice, about not carrying any plastic with you in our sister city.
So far, I have been fortunate doing this..any larger bills, like 200 peso bills, etc., I simply keep "hidden" in between things where pictures, cards, etc., are supposed to go in the billfold. Whenever I have been searched by Juarez's finest, the "cops" have never looked there.
Incidentally, with the "soldiers" now being in control of the holy city, aren't the regular cops supposed to lay off us altogether?
Club Dallas, up on Francisco Villa Street, I understand is now closed. Someone told me the owner got kidnapped.

Funny you should mention this. I almost did but being 9 out of 10 times I've had everything taken out of my wallet or picked thru enough to check between each item, I thought it happened to everyone. It's not really a wallet or a billfold. More like a card wallet of sorts. I haven't used a wallet for money in 30 years.
It's usually just holding 200 or 300 pesos, ID, misc crap and a bunch of business and contact cards but they go thru it and always mention that I have "Mexican money" in the form of a question. "Well sure! I'm in Mexico"...
It's funny, with all the searches, and as thorough they are, I've never lost dime one with them. One did take my last cigarette once and I have worried about a 'plant' a few times. It can be like a circus act tho' - one guy pulling stuff out, the other guy behind you going thru it and handing it back while the first guy keeps rapid firing dumbass questions at you. But I've yet to pay any cover charge for the entertainment.
That's what I miss about all the old bars and clubs - they provided some quick doorways to go thru when needed.

this is the problem with using my Bank of America ATM card in J-town.
Sure I get a great rate, but I have to carry the plastic, and the 500 peso notes the ATM likes to spit out are way too big.

That was my reaction with the ATM at the bank towards Ave Juarez/Septembre. Bigger bills and also a shady area later at nite. It was about 5 or 6 years ago, but that was the last time for me.
I just started going back to Juarez like old times. Worried at first so I went where I thought was the safest; Luxxor. Better than ever, with the bad economy some real nice girls have gone to work there. Went in service 2 times and stayed all afternoon. I was invited back for a pool party with the girls. They have a pool near by and are having parties on Thursdays.
Like old times.
Its been a while since I've been to Luxxor, what are the rates now?
And as for the fresh meat, who would you recomend who has a nice body, cute face and no baby damage?
Thanks in advance man.

It Looks like they have some new girls at Pink Lady as well. I went by there after I had my teeth cleaned at washington dental clinic last Saturday. I was over in the early afternoon around around 6:00 pm So still a lot of the day shift. I chose Rocio a cute brunette around 22. They took 800 pesos for the hour which is still around $60.00. She was nice, sensual, gave great uncovered head, and was a great lay. I would wonder how the place gets at night now.
I think I am goign to try to check out Luxxor this weekend. Good reports guys.
Found on the town paper (PM) an add that caught my attention. Called the guy, 800 pesos for an hour, promised a nice, young, thin girl. Decided what the hell, worst case scenario I'll send her back.
My friends I didn't know what I was missing, shes not only young, but she really is thin and good looking, kind a skynny for my taste but has a nice face and a good attitude. Does almost everything except greek, she says she has some other friends working with her but didn't get a chance to meet them.
When first I hired her she was working the night shift because she was in school, but recently she told me shes working from the 10 AM to 10 PM.
Highly recomend it. Her name is Allison and the number to call is: 656-1-50-04-96.
Have fun everyone.
Juaritos, Called that number but the person (s) don't know what I'm talking about. I asked for Allison and then I said I'd like to make an appointment but they were clueless. What's PM anyway? I'd like to check that paper out. I assume a lot of ads on it?
I got the last 2 numbers mixed up, sorry.
Its 656-1-50-04-69.
The add is on the PM, you'll see a blond girl and the words Allison, you cant miss it.
Thanks for the tips on Luxxor, will definetly be visiting soon.
Pm is a local newspaper, sort of like EL PESO in Chihuahua or EL METRO in Mexico City.
I think they start selling it around 12 o clock. You can't miss it, its on newstands and guys are selling it on almost every street corner. But you got to move fast because around 3 or 4 in the afternoon their gone. It costs 5 pesos, around a.35 cents.

Not sure if it's the same girl you were with but this one is young and cute (she said she's turning 24), morena, has a lunar (mole) between her upper lips and nose. Ok session I think she's young and not too experience. But she's a sweet girl and yes she does try to please. Not sure if I'll repeat.
When the padrote arrive at the hotel, there were three girls total in the car. Probably just in case I don't like Alison. I took a pic of her (with clothes) and will post it.
It's been about 8 years since I've to Juarez. As luck would have it I'm going to be in El Paso tonight. From what I remember, there where some good bars with working girls after you cross the walking bridge down a few blocks turn right and then a left. Is this area still the same? With all the shit happening in that town I'd like to make sure things haven't changed. I'd hate to walk over for nothing or to get into problems. Any help you local guys could give would be helpfull.

I don't know how far back you've read to get up to date but most of those bars are closed or torn down. That area (El Centro) is a whole new world over the last 2 or 3 years.
If you had walked down to the little plaza (Plaza de Mariachi) with the horse and the big horseshoes to make the right, you would see the difference instantly today.
