Can you tell us a little more about periera? You mentioned it could be a goldmine for those into adventure and low end chicas.
I mention it in this thread because or your previous post but it would be better off in the other areas thread.

Palermo good Cuba stories. Medellin was same way. My arms were almost pulled out of their sockets from girls pulling on them in Tropical Disco in LLeras in Medellin in feb 1999. Same with Palmitas. It was different there then in different building only one floor- it got dangerous when even the drug lords wives and girlfriends wouldn't keep there hands off me. Damn how things have changed. I only learned of what was going on in Cuba then by a guy I met at airport in Cancun I was going 6 countries in 6 weeks with last two stops to Medellin and Caracus [ my second 99 Medellin trip. The guy told me he flew into Cancun to skip off to Cuba and we swapped stories. I think this is when I first joined TeeSM travel I think he was the one that led me to the boards. I know I missed the Cuba days but I got into Medellin as one of the first. Colombia is about half my trips now mixed in with the DR my gears have changed now looking at buying apartments in Colombia and a Villa in DR possibly then skip back and forth so I don't get bored like I do now. LOL

I'm back in No. California now. Many thanks to my buddy WT69 for picking me up at the San Francisco airport last nite at 3:30am. I had a big delay in my flight and spent 10 hours in the Miami Airport, UGH!
I found a cheap way to the Cali Airport. On my way back I flew from Cali to Medellin before going to Calif. First I took a cab to the Cali bus terminal. Then I jumped on the airport shuttle bus. Cost 4000 pesos. Can't beat that. The shuttle is on the 2nd floor of the terminal, buses leave every 15 min.
Back to the culo- finger wave thing again. I just want to say I've never had any problems finding chicas willing to do the culo thing. Especially in casas or red light districts. If this is such a horrible, weird form of sexuality, why are so many chicas willing to do this. Its because there must be a lot of guys who like it, its that simple. Usually the cost is around 20-30, 00 in those places.
As far as Cali is concerned, I'm with Palermo, the chicas just arent as good looking as Medellin, its that simple. We were in a hot nite club-bar last Friday in the Ave. Sexta area, and we both remarked that there was only 1 good-looking chica in the place. If it was Medellin, half the women would have been hot looking. Others may disagree. I'm still not that sure the women are more dark caramel-colored skinned as Medellin. Palermo disagrees.
I had the wrong address about Caras Lindas, thats why I couldn't find ythe place. I've also been told of a couple of other places that I didn't know about. So next trip to Cali will check these places out. I wish there was more site-seeing spots, even though I enjoyed going to Popayan. The Spanish-colonial architecture was great. Its almost as an area as Cartagena.

Hey BadBoy, I partly agree with you in that in Medellin, half the chicas in a similar nightclub setting would've been prettier looking than the ones at the Cali nightclub you were in. But here's the rub: try hooking-up with one of 'them. The Paisas know they are hot and pretty and in demand (especially by the overpaying gringos, mafiosos and other foreigners that frequent their town) so they will make you jump through endless hoops, give you the run-around, play head games with you until no more avail, separate you from your cash along the process, and at the end of the night (or nights) not put out to boot! I have been saying this for some time now. If in Sex Prison one finds a similar type of situation going on, then why go to another place where things function almost just as identical? Doesn't it kind of defeats the purpose of travelling there to begin with? And it's not as if Colombia, and particularly Medellin, have become any cheaper for us, USA visitors. If I can land a sweet and down-to-earth chica in any other city in Colombia (or elsewhere, for that matter) who could even be a 6, for me (as I only speak for myself here) that is far better than a 0 in Sex Prison. That's a multi-fold gain there in and of itself. Now, the kicker is that usually one will be able to encounter, meet, approach, and probably hook-up with several 6's in these other cities (not necessarily small towns) in Colombia making the gain even more exponentially higher than when compared to trying to land an 8+ in a place like Medellin or Bogota. If we do the math, assuming that multiple 6's (or 7's) can be had for the relative costs of trying (read again, trying) to land an 8+ in MDE or BOG, then how could that not be a far better deal? Hey, three 6's add up to 18 which is still better than a far-off probable 8 and not to mention a 0 which is where I would be starting from. Dunno, it seems to me that there are definitely better options and choices to be had.

In this context, at least to me, three 6's do not add up to 18. They are just three 6's. "6" in this context is a "level" rather than "amount". They do not accumulate.

I agree with your math Matt Psyche. 3 6s do not equal 18. Its just 3 6s. But this is a subject I'm not an expert at because I'm looking for prostitutas all the time. Don't have the patience or time for the dating scene in Colombia.

I'm adding it up as an amount, because three 6's for me is the accumulation of three experiences adding up to one. I am not averaging out to a level, I want to make the point across that 3 is more than 1 (regardless of what level either one of them finds themselves to be in).

I didn't mean to start a diatribe over math here. This is not the place for such trivialities, right? I should have stated more clearly that 6+6+6 = 3 (6). That three 6's in terms of their average standing in a scale of 1 to 10 is still a 6. However, my point is that three experiences (because it is three different human beings I am talking about here) adds up to a greater experience than just 1 (regardless if that one is an 8). Hence 3 is more than 1. That's all!
Bottom line is that I am more content with having landed those three 6's or that one 6, that other 6.7, and 7.3 at the end of my trip than just trying to land that elusive eight or nine.
And you're right, landing putas cuts through the b.s and time of trying to land a regular, non-pro girl. Even though I still would much rather prefer hooking up with one over a puta any day of the week, but with limited time and resources there is only so much one can do.

I am planning to return to Cali after a year since my last visit. I have stayed regularly at the Torre de Cali but saw that I can get about the same price now at the Sheraton. Is there a chica charge at the Sheraton? I never had any issues with Torre de Cali but Sheraton looks nicer. Thanks to anyone that can help
