I did not see a group of freelancers standing at 7/1, as compared to other places. I had the massage gang flashing their menu, but not too many freelancers when I was there.

Russians skip my radar, not looking for them. Ignored 2-3 who called me around Soi 3/5, and inside streets. We get enough white girls back home, plus these are not Russians, I think come from places like Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan. I did a tour of monger duty in that area already. Last time I was in Bangkok (for about the 100th time) in April I spent quite a while walking up Soi 7/1 looking for Beer Garden, even though I knew it wasn't there! Just a brain fade day!

I once went looking for a bar somewhere, I can't remember where, and got upset with the taxi driver for not being able to fine the place before it dawned on me that the bar was not only in a different city, but an entirely different country. These things happen.

Up until fairly recently I'd sent about 6 or 7 years constantly travelling for work, quite often back to the same counties or countries I'd previously lived in. I once got back to Singapore from KL at around midnight and had a 4 am flight to Manila. Returning the following morning. Some nights I used to wake up in the hotel and couldn't even remember what city I was in, let alone where the light switches where!

I've also been in places (usually a bit pissed) and spoken my very limited Thai to Chinese / Malaysian / Indonesian and wondered why I was getting a blank look! I'll put my hand up and say I can be a brain-dead muppet sometimes.

I'm Aussie so for us pissed means drunk, not like in the US where it means annoyed. Please feel free to correct me on this if I'm wrong.

Too often we get to know what time somebody gets up what he has for breakfast and how he spends his day but nothing that makes you want to travel in his footsteps. Some posts are well written and entertaining others sadly plain boring (I know like mine). For some reason I like Taboc's so keep them coming where ever they originate from.

There is much in BKK other than girls, the top three for me is massage, tailored clothing (I come with a small backpack, then buy a big bag in BKK and fill it full with stuff), and cheap food by the street. So unlike a few other mongering places, this place allows to rewind and get ready for the next session.

My plan was to goto Khosan road, talk to the travel agents there about the trip to Siem Reap, hand around in a bar with backpackers and drink cheap beer, scout for a girl who is not a pro, at least what my mind thinks as non pro.
