A wealthy Brazilian guy who has lived in the US said why are you sitting by yourself hang out here. So we become friend. We rent a yatch, and party with four really hot girls. One I remember I think is at Coco Bambu. The restaurant is large and I was far away with my view blocked and I was charged a fee. The other time is in a bar that it was clearly marked on the table. The waiter also came to tell me about the charge on that table and told me there were other tables that were free.

Once in a restaurant, the waiter started to tell me he needed money to pay for his daughter's surgery. He showed me her pictures and told me things that I didn't quite understand but I got the idea. I gave him an amount that I thought was reasonable. I went there a few times later and he never asked me for money again. That was a strange experience.

As to couvert, they also charge it for bread, olives and other small munches. Not much, but I usually tell them to take it away. Except when they bring pao de cueijo. Love that shit.

Flights between Rio and SP are tricky. One day it's 30 bucks, next day -- 300. Whatever their computer tells them.

There are three Brazilian carriers: LATAM, Azul and GOL. Some folks prefer one over another, I personally don't care. To me, they all offer nearly identical service.

If you're using Google Flights, try the following combinations.

SDU-CGH -- this is ideal, from the center of one city to the center of another.

SDU-GRU.

GIG-CGH.

GIG-GRU.

There is also a "secret" Rio airport RRJ in Barra the Tijuca that you can use to fly to CGH on Azul. Never tried it myself, though.

If I go to a prive in Rio and waste 150 R on a horrible performance, I am going to be annoyed for a few hours. However, if I am in Scandallo and the girl gives a shitty performance, I am going to be pissed for the rest of my trip over the fact that I wasted 1000-1500 R! I believe the girls are independent workers, so I don't think there is anyone you can complain to if she doesn't perform all the things she told you she would do in the boate area.

It costs more to provide that level of ambience so it is reasonable to charge more. The room at Scandallo is maybe 4 times the size of room at 4 x4 and it has two shower heads in the shower that is more than twice the size of 4 x4.

I enjoy almost all types of food, and street food. My best friend would not touch the food from the street. He always looked at me with surprise when I stopped for street food. He needs to eat in a clean place with the food on the table. That is one way to think about it.

I think about it as paying for my time, not the girl's time. There are several ways to look at it. In the literal sense, one will need to evaluate how much his time is worth.

If one spends enough time with the girl in the club, it's rare to go wrong. You pick the girl but she has to make an effort for you to take her upstairs.

Having said that, I felt I did not spend money wisely when I paid those price regularly. I mean I calculated the monthly cost and multiplied by 12 and I thought that was stupid.
