Bangkok Reports

I have been here for five days and I suppose I should share some of my experiences with all of you.
First....BKK is full of girls. You can get about anything you want here but.....
Second...some places may not cater for European clientele. Thermae and some MP's seem to be more Japanese oriented. Thermae has many beauties, I admit, but many are just for ST and quote ridiculous prices (2000B ST, 3000 LT). I just laughed them off. You can get a gorgeous girl from Babydoll's at 1500B LT plus 600B barfine.
Third...when you think about it, many bargirls in Soi 7/1 quote 2000B plus 500B LT. I just smile and half the price. There are some cuties there. Took one from the bar opposite my hotel. She was lovely.
Fourth....Beergarden (Soi 7) and Gulliver's (Soi 5) have a mix. Beergarden is more in your face (why waste time buying her a drink). At Gulliver's there is an air of sophistication which is only skin deep...they may not all smile at you. The quality at these two places varies considerably from one day to the next.

Fifth....Spice disco. I went there last night and thoroughly enjoyed myself. There are lots of freelancers and if you are there some time after 1:00am you may meet the real deal (I did). Newbies...don't put on a cowboy attitude at Spice's. Some of the girls are already taken, some others are with there Thai BF's. Better to look before you leap,

Most Thais in the US and Canada are actually quite well-to-do. This has as much to do with the difficulty of any Thai, except one's with money to get a visa, let alone a permanent residency, as anything else. Marriage to a Farang is no guarantee the girl will ever get into either country.

That's absolutely correct! It helps, but it's no guarantee. Money also helps, but like marriage, it doesn't guarantee a visa.

I do tend to agree with Terry though that the vast majority of Thai women one meets in Europe seem to be ex-P4P. I haven't met any Isaan farmgirls (except my ex-gf, who I took to Canada 7 years ago) in North America. But, almost every Thai I met in Europe, (with the exception of the students I was with) when I was there last month, seemed to be ex-P4P.

Having just returned from 24 hours in Pattaya...(OTH in Pattaya??????? WTF??? did hell freeze over? did pigs fly?)...

...a thought occured to me (apart from "OMG, POOR GIRL!!") after I saw some of the types of Farang who these girls end up with, these types of relationships might not last, as well because a lot of these guys appear to be products of some cloning experiment gone horribly wrong, and are often ant-social freaks subject to rather bizarre behaviour. It's no wonder than more often than not, one hears in the bars, the girls exclaim, "Farang Ba!".

OK - this trip I've barfined girls from Soi Cowboy, Nana, and Soi 33, taken freelancers from Thermae's, Gullivers, Biergarten, Grace Hotel, and on the stroll on Sukhumvit, and at NEP carpark, and visited Nataree, Aviva, Tulip, Eden, Darling, Annie's, and Orchid massage parlors (promise to write some reports) - so what have I missed?

Which of your Bangkok favorite(s) have I overlooked? Let me know asap - I have only two more days!

My goodness, OTH, where in the hell to you go, and where do you stay on your infrequent trips to Pattaya? -- soi 6/1? -- the far side of Sukhumvit? -- the 3rd Road ghetto?

Admittedly, I've seen a few of the knuckle dragger types you describe, in their worn out flip-flops, filthy sleeveless t-shirts, and otherwise grotesque appearences, but I've also seen these guys on the lower Suk in Bangkok.

I rarely see them on Walking Street, and almost never in the go-go bars.

You might try a soapie at JC Infinity. That way you could say you've visited Patpong, too. Oh yeah, and stop at SOL on the way out in case you need some additional relief.

Interesting how Patpong seems to have fallen off the to-do list of many visiting mongers. Patpong 1 understandably so, but Patpong 2 still has some worthwhile places, plus a bit of the old ambience.

Ya, but the knuckle-draggers on lower suk in Bkk are tourists. They don't live here. I saw these freaks around the 3rd Road ghetto and around other Pattaya sexpat areas. They clearly weren't visiting, but seem to be infesting Pattaya's condo slums, like cockroaches.


No, I didn't get laid and I was here alone, in a hotel near Walking Street. This is part of the story, I might post, likely in the 'Living in Thailand' thread. It actually doesn't really belong in either this thread or the Pattaya thread.

That 7/11 at the corner of Sukhumvit and soi 22 where my GF was assaulted by the Farang. ;)
