What time do most girls start hitting the clubs and bars? Can you get a 10/10 and not have to stay out until after 1 am?
I am similar to you. I like to be in bed early with my dime.
I like to to think of the Sosua P4 P scene in terms of factory "shifts".
There's the morning shift which has girls coming from the monger hotels, New Garden, Europa, walking by Rocky's, looking for more business.
There's the afternoon shift which seems to have the solo hardened pros wandering around.
The early evening shift when they come out, all cleaned up in pairs and groups, smiling and full of promise. (My favorite shift).
The late shift when the real pros are operating in and around Classico. I'm rarely in Classico unless showing a buddy the scene!
But my business is done with contacts I have made over the years, spent time with, and their referrals mostly from out of town. The average monger, there for a week, can't easily arrange this, even if they go on the dating sites and try to set something up in advance, if she's a stranger, it will always be hit and miss. I haven't tried that either.
I also like to spend my in between time flirting with non pros, especially bar staff. You can have fun with them, even if you don't end up in bed with them.
So it's been a long time since I have taken a strange one back to my room.
But there's always something there for most guys!
How specific do you have to be when negotiating services with the girls in DR? Will she only do what she is comfortable with? And if you don't specify what services you are after you might end up unhappy.
Ask everything! To the littlest detail LOL. Do not worry about the girl being offended, she is a prostitute and get these questions prob 10 times a day. As a matter of fact if you don't ask questions she is going to get you. And asking sexual questions is the most important part of the feeling out process, why wouldn't you ask if you expect a certain act? Otherwise your setting yourself up for failure if you expect something without asking, these Dominican hoes don't play.

Thanksgiving Time
How is mongering during Thanksgiving in Sosua?

With some, depending on personality and language skills, you can banter and basically go the through your menu and get her response, which is why I always bought a new prospect a drink, to sit down with them, and take a little time to normalize the situation.
In a 10 minute interaction, you can learn a lot, about her health, hygeine and her time clock, and her "speciality", whether she's under pressure from her damn phone, . You can go back to your room together, as people who understand each other to some degree, which is always helpful at exit time.
Then there's the young 10's, right off the street, dimes who speak no inglese, that are just selling their beauty and not their time, or skills. With these you have to be very specific, but they usually have a friend who can moderate for you.
These are the riskiest for refusing to do this, or that, and maybe confrontaion over price at exit time.
(Unless you bring her friend along too, to moderate the interaction) :)
As always, IMHO!

Very good points
On the street girls will do "TODO" to get to your room. However the script can flip when they get there. The girls have much competition so they will do and say anything to get in your room. I try to spend some time to normalize things up front. Like Oakie said take time to scope her out. The hardcore girls are more likely to disappoint but even they can be won over with good moves. When you meet watch the small things that Oakie pointed out. Is she on the phone or pushy are bad signs. At the end of the day most girls are no problem and are opften pleasant surprises in bed. Dominican and Haitian women can fuck like crazy. Had to add this foto. A cupid girl hard and hot

As always, IMHO!
So its always best to choose a girl that can speak English if you can't speak any Spanish! Less chance of confusion or scamming?
So its always best to choose a girl that can speak English if you can't speak any Spanish! Less chance of confusion or scamming?
Maybe less chance of confusion, but more chance of scamming.
If a girl can speak more than a few words of English, she is very unlikely to have learned it at school. Hell, most of them have not even learned decent Spanish at school. She will have learned it spending a lot of time with gringos. She will therefore be a hardened working girl and know all the ways to scam you.
I no longer pick up working girls in Sosua, but I did for many years and found it best to avoid those who can speak English. They are also more in demand, especially from Weekend Warriors, and can afford to raise their prices and give less than satisfactory service.
I have come to the conclusion that for mongers who speak no Spanish, the best value can be obtained by staying at Blackbeards. When you can speak some Spanish (it does not need much) then you can look for cheaper and / or better chicas elsewhere.
My best chicas have mostly been haitianas new to the DR who can speak no English and very little Spanish. They are more desperate for money and more appreciative of your custom. They are also less likely to instigate a dispute because they know they will get no support from the police and other locals.

He was trying to say, treat the person with some respect and that means, perhaps avoiding the very clearly worded question, so it is not painfully obvious that she is being bought. Instead, use the tact as suggested by Oakie, to spend on a beer or something to get to know the person and when she has some comfort in you, ask.
As Charles Pooter mentioned, the best thing is to avoid anyone who speaks any English. Clearly that is easy if you speak some Spanish or go to Blackbeard.
Now, I do not know what your special proclivities are. Sex, oral both are normal. Anal is mostly a NO, unless perhaps the person is a pro. I cannot tell you about Sado-maso but perhaps others here can.
As life would have it, what is going to happen between a man and a woman, in a foreign land, known to each other only a minute or ten earlier, can be discussed but is not enforceable. Having said that, by avoiding the obvious pros and by treating the person in front as a companion, albeit for a short while, you increase your chances of getting where you wanted to get, Blackbeards can help. No guarantees though!

I've only caught three in all my time in the Dominican of republic. All three times unforgettable energetic exciting sessions. You have to be a Haitian connoisseur to understand the value of this catch.

They are treasures
I had one who was amazing. She had a huge chest and could fuck like a machine. She would do everything in bed you want and never any drama. Now that I think about it I need to call her again.

Travel advice
I'm posting in the Sosua forum because that is where I plan to spend most of my time, but this might need to be in the Santo Domingo thread.
Planning a trip for first week of November. Best flight lands in Santo Domingo late evening, too late to catch a bus to Sosua, so will need to spend the night near SD and catch a bus in the morning. How far is the bus stop from the airport? The Caribe Tours website lists their office as "Caribe Tours, Esq. Leopoldo Navarro, Av. 27 de Febrero". Is that where I actually catch the bus? I read a post about someone paying $25 for a taxi. I know there is Uber there, but I've checked the app a couple of times and there doesn't seem to be cars available.
Should I spend the night near the hotel or the bus stop, or indeed somewhere else? From what I read on the SD thread, the P4 P scene there isn't great. I have some girls I've been chatting to online, but always weary about relying on Dominican girls, especially when I'm only there for 1 night.
Am I correct in saying Metro is a little more expensive but quicker than Caribe? Do they both stop in Sosua? The website lists "Caribe Tours, Aut. Pto Plata-Sosua esquina, Sosa". Is that where the bus actually stops? If so, it's only a 4 minute drive to Dr Rosen, but I'll have a case, so can't take a motoconcho. Will there be passing taxis?
Last time I stayed at Sosua Sunrise, which I understand has since closed for refurbishment. What's my next best option? Do I need to book in advance for early November, or just show up and there'll be rooms available? I remember someone saying rooms are cheaper at reception than they are online.
Is early November a good time for Sosua? Weather says warm but lots of thunderstorms. Sounds similar to what I had at the end of December last year. Didn't bother me too much, I had plenty of shorts and t-shirts for when I got caught in the rain but there weren't many girls out in the streets, although that probably had a lot to do with being Christmas / new year.
Is there a shop in SD airport which sells pre pay sim cards? Otherwise, is there public wifi? My cell phone plan doesn't cover the DR. I bought an Orange sim last time, but I suspect it will have expired at some point over the last 10 months. I will need data at the airport and overnight, and shops in town will no doubt have closed by the time I land.
Thanks in advance for any useful advice. This will be my second trip to the DR. I'm very excited and will of course leave you all a detailed report.
P.S. If you're around then, please PM me. I'm coming on my own, so would be nice to have a wingman.

After a leisurely breakfast on the beach in Boca Chica, you can get the bus for a nominal sum to Santo Domingo and then a local taxi from the bus terminal to the Caribe Tours or Metro terminal. I think Caribe tours has the more comfortable seats. Caribe Tours stops at Charamicos which is at the far end of Sosua beach, but you can get local taxi or mototaxi from there to your hotel for a nominal sum. People in Boca Chica will tell you where to get the bus and their cousin or brother-in-law will probably offer to drive you all the way to Sosua for about $200 at 90 mph on the back roads.
Metrobus and Caribe Tours both go about the same speed (too fast for safety), but if you can get a Caribe bus that is the express that uses the Santiago bypass to go directly to Puerto Plata without making the agonizingly slow crossing of Santiago and its two bus stations, then you could save a bit of time on the journey. You can look up the schedule on their Web site. Just tell the taxi to take you to Caribe Tours, they will not know the actual address as they will be illiterate, but they will know where it is, so don't confuse them. And he will probably offer to drive you all the way to Sosua for about $200 at 90 mph on the back roads.
You probably cannot get prepaid SIM cards in the Santo Domingo airport, especially not late at night, but you will probably find a Claro or Orange shop in Boca Chica, or you can ask a motoconcho to take you to one, and their cousin or brother-in-law will probably offer to drive you all the way to Sosua for about $200 at 90 mph on the back roads.
The weather is OK in Sosua in November, not too hot and not too cold. It is futile to predict whether it will rain, it might.

Thanksgiving in Sosua
How is mongering during Thanksgiving in Sosua?
They don't work on Thanksgiving. They go home with their families to have a big turkey dinner. Anyways. The only real problem in mongering is with out of country girls near Christmas time, but only girls from a country that cares about Christmas. The working girls in Sosua won't give a damn about Thanksgiving, and there might actually be more girls trying to save up money for Christmas shopping.
