Of course we cannot make this decision for you, only give you some pointers:

* If you can fall in love for another woman, there is indeed something not 100% right in your present realtionship. Then you have to ask if that can be salvaged or repaired somehow and if you want to invest time, money and effort in doing so. Again, make a choice and go full for that choice. If your heart and mind is not totally into it, then I don't think you should do it as chances are small it will stick. On the other hand that does not mean shacking up with your Thai bargirl is the only other alternative.

* Don't look sight of all options and nuances. All too often we *think* we have to choose between only two options: stay with the wife or live with the girlfriend. Don't limit yourself to these "extremes". I don't think you can have both as they are indeed "extremes", meaning totally opposites. But what if you would separate from your wife, not leave your country, not break all contact with her and your family? Over time the bounds will naturally become looser and introducing another partner will become less controversial and more acceptable. Who knows, perhaps your wife is as stuck in the relationship as you are and she would welcome some freedom as well.

* Jumping from one (not entirely successful) relationship into another (fresh, exotic, new, exciting, . . .) relationship is a bad bad idea. Perhaps the new relationship is only *good* compared to the old one. You cannot look at this with objective eyes as everything is relative to yourself and those around you. For a starving man, a piece of stale mouldy bread is heaven.

* Don't underestimate the change of scenery. Thai labour law is not foreigner friendly, immigration law rules are stacked against you, property law is really discriminating against non-Thai. All those queer things we find amusing and "so typicially Thai" when on vacation, get less and less fun when you have to live through them. I have a Thai GF and she takes really good care of me and when I have to leave her after spending three weeks in Thailand with her, it breaks my heart every damn time again. But when I'm back home, I really enjoy a really hot shower, eat "my" food, be able to read the newspaper, listen to (and understand) "my" radio, . . . Of course, after a few weeks I miss the Thai sun, their almost childlike carefree view on living, the fresh food, . . . And I'm not even mentiong all the physical benefits of having a much younger Thai GF within easy reach.

* One last comment (and now speaks my black lawyer heart): how will you manage your divorce when you are frolicking around in Thailand? Unless your wife is a saint and her family are all angels (not of the avenging type), her lawyer will have a field day in cleaning you out and leave you probably with far less than you hoped (or even feared) for. Changing to a life in Thailand is challenging and even more so if you are only "half the man" you used to be.

Of course I do not know you or your actual situation, so nothing I wrote may apply to you. Fine with me, it is your life and your decision.

P. S. Some guys are maintaining multiple wives. This is not a great thing to do to them if you don't have adequate time and money to support them all properly, assuming they want some support. My GF doesn't require large amounts of my time. Always has been an independent type. I still try to be with her regularly covering at least 25% of the days in the year. I don't look on mongering girls as potential GF replacements.

Consider carefully if you really need a wife / GF at all. If I should finish with GF, the preferred option is to NOT acquire another one, leading to far more flexibility. Okay I know this is not relevant for someone a bit crazy in love, but it wears off in time.

How good is this Thai girl's English assuming that you are not speaking Thai at all or very little? How much have you really shared with her other than pillow talk? I would put money on it that if you go that route you will wake one day and bitterly regret that decision. You describe your family "as a pretty wife and grand kids" which to me indicates that even if the sex life isn't like your honeymoon anymore you are still having feelings for her and your kids.
