-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Erica woke me up and left, said bye to Bcell, caught a 10 minute taxi ride to the local airport, paid 6, 000 and took off. Arrived here 10 minutes early on the 37 seat plane and checked in.

Took a walk to the beach, Tony came up on me as usual, pointed out 4 chicas. The chicas were from Meddy and we chatted a bit. I think I will wait until my wingman arrives.

I went to Centro for a while, its hot as hell here.

I came back and who do I see, the 4 chicas in Riquisimo, waiting to eat so I sit at another table and they wave me over to join them. They are fighting with each other cause its too much money there. While we are there, it turns out they work at Fas Dos. They decide to go elsewhere after they pay for their drinks. I can join them, but I must buy them lunch. No thanks.

So I am sitting next to another Paisa that works in LDV. They are everywhere.

So I am coming back from lunch and who do I see, Tat, and she gives me a big hug and kiss and drags me back to her apartment, looking even better to see Viv. We arrive and now there are 4 chicas living there, WOW! So we are off for ice cream and who comes up behind us, Kevy!

Well later on Kevy and I hit Isces in Centro, 14 chicas and they all want 250, 000 for 2 hours. We move on to Playboy and these chicas want 500, 000 for TLN-

We end at LDV, maybe 50 chicas and thet want 200, 000-250, 000 but they were willing to go for 150, 000 since many are from Meddy and most go back after a month or two and would love a steady customer.

There is an Italian restaurant next to LDV which is always empty but tonight 5 hookers are there eating fries so we stop in and have fries and cappies which were great.

Onto LDV which was packed, maybe 50 chicas and at least 2 were smoking hot! I spot something I want so I invite her for a cappy and we chat. 200, 000 an hour or 400, 000 all night. What about 100, 000 in the day for 3 hours? Not a problem, I shall call her.

They left and we headed to LDV, Isis and Queens but I saw nothing of real interest so I hit the sack at 1am.

Happy to Report I sitting here in Tom 33 Playa Mar's apartment, feeling like a cat that ate the mouse (actually more like the dog that ate the p*ssy cat).

Wanted to report, money wise, that the Hilton does accept the Capital One credit cards (which have no fees), but not the ATM next to the Yogen Fruz stand in Laguito (the AC broke in there, and it's like being in an oven).

Laguito was heavily armed yesterday as President Uribe had a meeting at the Hilton, groups of soldiers everywhere, helicopters, the whole deal. Of course, it's mild compared to if our clown Bush came to town.

The personal contacts and street chicas have been keeping me very busy that I have been too exhausted to even get to LDV - which is fine, there are a bunch of Spaniards here whom I expect will leave shortly. The old guard Laguito group, some of you know of whom I speak, are prettier than ever and better in the sack than ever before. I swear that they talk BBBJ techniques con uno y otro.

A long time Playa Mar resident likes to hang in front of the building, and while talking with him, two gringos attracts the chicas like flies. So if you're ever here, try hanging around from 5-7PM you may meet someone you like...some of the beach chicas, though, look really hard and drugged out.

Well you can be sure Gonzo, that if The Messiah visits Colombia that he will not be visiting Cartagena. He will be visiting Southern Colombia breaking bread with FARC, but maybe in your mind that is ok.

Way to many overpriced chicas this time around.

I'm trying to plan a trip by myself to some Central and South American countries. To monger. I was wondering if you guys had any tips or comments on where I'm going and the routes that I will be taking. Anything would be very beneficial such as where to and not take the bus. Let me first say I'm 20 year old male my Spanish is alright. I can get by. So I'm thinking I fly in to Cartagena Colombia spend 5 nights there, then catch a bus to Caracas (any tips on customs is the bus safe to take there? ) then from Caracas I would like to catch a bus to puerto la cruz Venezuela spend some nights there. Then catch the ferry to Margairta Island. Then from the airport in margarita island I would fly to Panama city spend some nights there. Then catch a bus to San Jose, Costa Rica. Then fly home to los angeles. Any suggestions would help me out a lot. I plan on being on this trip for 25 days and I'm bringing about 2,000 dollars.

I think it`s great that you`re planning a trip to Central / South America but for me your itinerary is a bit off.

Of course everyones tastes are different but I`d change things a bit.

First of all, flying into Cartagena is great, a nice place to start. Instead of taking a looooong bus ride to Caracas, why not visit another great city in Colombia. I`d recommend Medellin of course.

I know both cities well, and I`d choose Medellin over Caracas any day for a vaiety of reasons.

Maybe you can hook up with a nice Colombianita and visit Santa Marta or even San Andres island with her instead of the Isla Margarita.

Or maybe if you decide to continue with your journey to Venezuela, you could fly to Medellin from Caracas instead of Panama or San Jose, I`m pretty sure there are direct flights.

Trust me, Medellin blows either of those destinations away.

I wouldn't even fly to Caracas nor would I take a bus to the VZ border.

On August I made a bus trip from Barranquilla to Medellin. Almost 14 hours theres nice & inexpensive bus companies my ticket was 60 k COP with Brasilia (I think thats the right name) when I got to the station they wanted 120k and came down to half jeje. It was a long ride but didn't feel it that much because it was from 4 pm to 6 am so most of the night I slept. The road looked kinda risky and in the middle of the jungle, but thank God everything went ok.

In the Barranquilla airport I asked how much an airplane ticket would be and they told me 320k so I was ok thank you.

In February I took a bus from Maracaibo to Barranquilla, my friends told that it was supposed to be between 6 and 7. 5 hours, but it took us almost 14 hours, it was a pain in the ass, they were soldiers all the way from Maracaibo to the border with Colombia, they stopped us at least 9 times, they wanted to check our documents, our baggage, and you know what else $$$$ (usually 20k bolivares per stop). I never had a problem with my USA passport, plus I'm latino and spanish its my primary language. But my Colombian buddy with no USA passport got stopped & pulled out from the car every single time, in the last stop (La Raya? ) we had to pay 200k bolivares so they could let him go.

I don't know if all this it was because we went to during the carnival or its like that the whole year. But I don't plan to repeat it anytime soon.

But in Colombia from the border to barranquilla everything went smooth and no problems at all.

So if you have the money and want to save time, travel by plane. If you are in a budge and want to save your money to spend in the girls use a bus.

He said things are getting even worse there with crime and anti-American sentiment.

To make things worse, the black market exchange is down to about 2800 to 1, when not so long ago you could get as much as 5000.

Made my first visit to Queens Club on Sunday night. No cover, but a beer is 8000 pesos. When I arrived a bunch of Coast Guard guys were there, but they left shortly thereafter. There were about 8 chicas there around 11 pm. Some keep coming and going, I imagine they were running between Queens and another club seeing where they could get some business. I chatted and danced with a couple. The selection ranged in 7 area for my tastes. I selected one and bought her a beer and we danced for a bit. We made a deal for her to come back to my hotel for the night for 120k pesos. To avoid paying the exit fee to the club, I left and went and waited for her 2 blocks away. She showed up right on time 15 minutes later.

On Monday I was sitting at a restaurant eating dinner when 3 girls walk in, two of which I recognize from queens club. Worth checking out if you are in Cartagena. And the price range isn't bad for Cartagena. Queens Club is located on Calle de las Damas on the corner of Amarguar. No sign during the day, but at night a bright lighted sign is out.

Checked out Bananas on a Tuesday night. Used to be called Club Miami and is on the Cartagena list as such on Porvenir street at the corner of soledad.

I was there between 10:30 and 11 pm. Only 2 chicas there at the time and 3 other guys. I spoke with both chicas, they were bad but not my type. So I just headed out after my beer, which was 6000 pesos. I didn´t ask about the chica prices but i would guess around 100k pesos but negotiable with the chica.

I've only been to LDV twice in the last week, but I'd say that it's about 4 to 1 ratio. I've rarely seen it different, but that's why I travel at this time, not early or mid august. I can't give you prices because I ended up with chicas I already knew both for ST 150K, which means "a lot of hours but not overnite". LDV was great...not for everbody, but I like it a lot! Just wish it could start about 3 hours earlier.

The beach is so full of working girls, it's ridiculous, and now I've seen some real cuties there. I was with my non-pro and almost had a few Charlie Sheen moments (you know, when Charlie goes out on a date with a regular girl, and an obvious puta walks by and goes "Oh, hi Charlie!").

A lot of guns are waiting for you in that city. You will be OK in CTG and Costa Rica, as far as Panama, I have no experence there. I hope you have an ATM card as $2, 000 seems a little light for all those places as it takes awhile in each place to learn the ropes.
