I can't say they are nowhere near Scandalo or ViveMadrid (never been there, but I recognize the reputation), but at least you get to experience the best clubs around Barcelona. Forget the club scene downtown.

But maybe you are too lazy or have good enough reasons to only spend time in downtown? My best advice would then be to follow your own advice. Which happen to be very much alike the advice of Vagabond and Kyle. And mine. :)

A person cannot fuck 80-100 girls at a big club, and the only reason some of the ladies look fantastic is because a guy is comparing them to the many ugly ones at the club. The clubs charge a fortune for everything but sex, and offer nothing unique to the host country like truly good food.

You don't have to visit clubs if you don't think there are attractive girls. But if you believe that there are no good looking girls at a place like "ViveMadrid" well we don't see it the same way! There are of course pros and cons with clubs vs brothels / escorts but if I have the chance to choose I will always choose a good club before brothels / escorts, but we all have different preferences.

It's not as if the Club has to be located on the middle of Ramblas, normally these kind of clubs are located in industrial areas or a long way out of the citycenter. Sure Barcelona is a grand touristy city much more tourists than Madrid, Malaga, Valencia etc. The only city that is just as touristy but much smaller I would say is Marbella (PuertoBanus), but I really don't see the problem. It's not like the old Riviera was a big problem, I mean it was located more or less on the highway, the fact they were shutdown by the court and police that's a different matter.

I didn't say there were not good looking girls in the mega clubs, I meant that the attractiveness of the 25 top ones is amplified by comparing them to the bottom 25. I just think the mega clubs invite too much attention from the wrong people. It is not the environment that the most sophisticated, self-confident sex worker wants to be in, and to fill up the club there are going to be Romanians, Latinas and Asians who might be working there illegally. But trust me, big gets noticed more than small by those who oppose this activity. When Canada was debating this subject recently, one of the most vocal lawmakers said Canada could not fully decriminalize commercial sex because it would end up having four story brothels like Germany does. In addition to the future legal concerns, the other worry I have about big clubs is the concern that they seem soul-less. I get amazed at the number of reviews of them that fail to mention the name of an actual girl, or any services or characteristics other than a low-priced suck and fuck. I associate big and standardized with the most soul-less place in the world, the United States. People shop at WalMart and eat at McDonalds because those places have driven so many real stores and restaurants out of business. For many years now politicians actually have tried to get through a change in the law that makes it a criminal offense for Swedes to buy sex abroad! How they could control this is beyond me, but it feels absurd!

I understand and agree with you in much of what you write, I must admit that you seems to be an intelligent man. .

But after all I like the club experience where where you can have a drink and talk and get to know the girl first and get a feeling if she is right or not for you. The feeling when the girl tries to get you to the room and rubs her selves against the crotch, for me that feeling is priceless. Of course some clubs can get soul-less at times but IMHO going to a brothel is just that, soul-less! I miss that in Barcelona and have to drive to Reus or La Jonquera for that action, which can be a schlep. It would be nice if Barcelona also offered that choice to punters.

What is interesting is that I think that Barcelona, for whatever reason, is just about the only big city in Spain where they do not have a club of this nature, and in all the other cities they happily co-exist with other activities, normally in industrial estates on the outskirts. Scandalos in Malaga; Miladys in Marbella, Vive in Madrid; Maxx in Valencia; E96 in Sevilla; the'Angelos in Alicante, can't remember the name in Bilbao, etc.
