Sosua Reports

Good to see the venerable Sosua versus Blackbeards debate stills rumbles on. It has been a highlight of this board for at least the twelve years I have been visiting and then living here and maybe from before that, too. Maybe it was a hot topic for Columbus' crew?

Just be thankful we have both venues still thriving, despite occasional threats to their very existence. As OldKool remarked, "different strokes, etc".

My hope is to see Field of Dreams put back into the mix as well, but have heard no more as yet about its mooted renaissance. Cannot have too many options, to keep pricing reasonable.

For me half of the adventure of mongering is the "hunt". I've been coming to Sosua for over 10 years, and yes things have changed but for me it's still the most bang for my buck. I know that Change is difficult for some but what hasn't changed over the years. Starting with my personal tastes and habits to the places that I visit. The only reason I haven't been able to find a girl when I'm hanging out is because I'm pacing myself and just chilling for that evening or on rare occasions and I might want someone new to me, and all I see is familiar faces. For me Sosua is still the male Disney Land. Peace.

Well the former is outdoor of course, bar the fact that you have no mamasan to turn to, should things go awry but they are all hunting grounds, for the girls I mean, or perhaps mutual hunting? LOL.

I was in Sosua this holiday period for about 6 days and had no need to look at Pedro Clissante but there were a whole lot of people fishing there. As Pooter mentioned, this debate is not going to go away anytime soon but thank god, there something for everyone.

I'm still fucking friends of friends of friends of the very first chica I met in Sosua on my first night, 9 years ago! There's always somebody new and pre-screened!

Let me tell you how my first Sunday in the New Year in Sosua went.

I have this chica from PP. She has a couple of girl friends that are classic beauties (if you like tall slim model perfect bodies, and a beautiful face) She's no pimp but she likes to be included in what goes on, and she makes everything work.

She also wants to come in, clean and cook, and stay over for a few days at a time. She has a bambina in PP. I told her before Christmas that I was single and free and intended to stay that way, but she came to the gate anyway with the second most beautiful chica I had seen in Sosua. Miss C. That was my first happy hour ever in Sosua.

So I came back to Sosua, after the holidays, and totally ignored the usual calls on my local phone, as I needed a little R&R, and had some office stuff to catch up on.

Yesterday I got a call from the first Miss Domincan Republic, who I'd partied with one night with my chica, but I was mostly drunk then hung over. She said she was in Sosua. I said I was going to Bailey's for lunch but she could come along. Bottom line, after 45 minutes of waiting, I bailed out of Bailey's and saved my money. I figured you got to train them, or they'll train you!

They called later to ask where I was and I just texted back 'manana'.

So I'm free and chilled out today, and Miss DR calls again. I told her I'd be down the street at a local bar if she wanted to drop by. Well another hour goes by, but I'm where I want to be so no problem. Miss DR shows up with mi PP chica, but looks out of this world, doesn't really fit at the bar I'm at, so I say the usual, hambre? (they usually are) But no, we'll do something at your condo. Now the story comes out that Miss DR has to come in from Cabarete, and mi chica comes from PP, and like Hillary and Bill Clinton you always get two for one, which explains he time it takes to organize. My heart rate goes up a notch, very unusual at my age, as we go around the corner to where I live.

We get to my place but Miss DR doesn't have ID, so I can't get them in. We stand there, then thanks to this forum I say how about Dulce Secreto? Which I'd never been to or even knew where it was.

My chica hails a MC and he gets another, and off we go. Miss DR is ahead of us and I see these luscious long legs and flying natural hair (sorry GM).

We get to the place and I'm surprised at how nice, clean and friendly the place is. We get to the room, and some kind of dumb waiter in the corner of the room opens like magic, and it has 3 beers and water!

We get down to business and I have a little trouble with leche, so these girls really go to town on me. They did everything I wanted and more (I got dressed first) We finish up in pile and one takes pictures with my phone, but we are all laughing, because I have a thong on my head.

Anyway it was memorable, these were friends, nothing like the usual P4 P. They wouldn't tell me a price (tranquilo, tranquilo mi amor!) but I watched their faces as I gave them the money, and I think I gauged it pretty well.

I got to fuck the girl of my dreams, but the money shot came as we were leaving, I said I have to pay the cuenta for the room and the beer.

Relax amor, she says, I took care of it. She's investing in me, I hope it pays off for her :)

I love Sosua!

(Actually as I was posting this I saw the Ad for the FKK bar Samya in Koln at the top right, (now top left) of the screen here. That's the body I'm talking about!)

I have been going to Sosua for over 6 years 3 to 4 times a years. I never been in Classico when the ratio was not at least 4 to 1. And the quality is always excellent. That can not be said for BB. You seem a bit timid I think Classicos probably scares you but that is OK. However I hate folk misleading the board. If BB is your cup of tea go for it but do not bemerch one of the best pickup bars in the western hemisphere. BB was boring to me. The girl were average looking and the really hot few got ll the business so you sit around waiting for thirds or forths for the girl you want. BB has 10 to 15 girls. I never came close to GFE that was believable. I like having choice of over 200 in Sosua. If you take a little time to look the range is tremendous.

To each his own. Right? Are we not allowed to share our own personal experiences here now? My report is from in the ground within the last week. Some will find it valuable.

By staying at Blackbeards doesn't just mean you are limited to their selection. You can play Puerto Plata unless you are too timid and need to only stick to point and click options.

Also why aren't you locking the hit girls down at Blackbeards? It sounds like your issue with the place is that the girls you liked didn't pay enough attention to you. I have found in the years I have been going that usually says more about the guy than the girl.

A member has PM'd me to ask if he can use Uber in Sosua. I know it is now available in God's Own City (Puerto Plata) but I am not sure about Sosua.

Any experiences for us all to learn from?

Obviously I've never used Uber before![/QUOTE]Thanks, Oakie. That sounds suspiciously cheap, even for Uber (about 305 pesos as against the 1200 a private taxi would charge. Even commandeering a dedicated publico would cost around 500/600).

Hopefully others can chip in.

By the way, the request to reply in the Santiago thread referred to a different post about a carwash. I may be eccentric but I am not batshit crazy. LOL.

Going to Merengue and Classico, after most of the chicas left town? Does your 6 yrs, 3 or 4 times a yr coming to Sosua, have anything to do with what happened last week or the week before? I live here, and I know it was dead in Sosua. The beach was dead. Everywhere was dead. If a dude says it was like a sausage fest up in the club or bar recently, it was the damn truth. Many guys still tried to get away and come to Sosua, just at a time most of the chicas left town. So how you going to call BS on something if you werent here to experience what someone else did?

See this is the type of shit that turns some posters off from sharing. You have no clue what's going on, but you are going to act like a know it all about what goes on in Sosua based on your visits and good times. Even if you have been in Sosua on certain holidays and had a great time, and no shortage of chicas. What you did back then, is no reason to apply that to what happened with someone else last week, or the week before. Why can't you just accept that things might have been different on his trip? As I've said before. The biggest problem some of you post attacking posters have, is that you arent interested in seeking feedback, or clarity to understand a persons perspective. The 1st inclination is to attack.

[/QUOTE]If your report on Sosua is based on a recent trip in the last 2 to 3 weeks, then what you experienced at Classico or Merengue Bar was very likely the truth. Sosua was a ghost town as far as the chicas are concerned. Many came to Sosua and worked up until days or a week before Christmas, and then they left, presumably to be with their families, shopping and such. So there werent many girls in Sosua at that time, and certainly most of the dimes were gone too. What might have been left, is what I refer to as the skeleton crew. You may have seen chicas that appeared to you as a 6 not only for appearance, but probably because many were the bottom of the barrel in terms of attitude and quality, and probably performance.

Moreover, most of the chicas who still came to hustle, were mostly Haitainas. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but they arent the ones you will see filling up Classico or Merengue. And still to this day, many chicas have not yet returned to hustle. So for anybody to imply that you are downing Classico or Merengue Bar is ridiculous. Sosua is just beginning to see some chicas returning to hustle. Another thing to add to the equation. It's been raining a lot, and sometimes that puts a damper on chicas getting out there to look for work. Cuts down on pedestrian traffic, kills the action at the beach, and elsewhere. It's raining right now. Seems like it's more guys around than chicas, STILL.
