-There were some high rising tensions between the militairy and the gangs of the favela's. Did anyone in the "Zona Sul" experienced any effects?

- Next week Sunday (rainy week) there is a national holiday, which explains the high prices in accommodations. Is it reaaaaallllyyyy worth sticking around in Rio or can anyone recommend to go to a different, cheaper city? With a lively mongering scene? I don't mind paying full prices for girls, but astronomical prices for worn down Zona Sul airbnb's and hotels is just wrong in my book.

-Did anyone stay in Recreio for the weekend? How were the options in nightlife?

As the title suggests this is my first trip report from Brazil.

Ill also do something a little different and compare this place to Bogota and Medellin.

First off let me give a salute to the fellas I met.

Arriving: I arrived in the evening and flew through immigration in about 15 minutes.

Before I exited I just paid the nose bleed prices from one of the official taxi services.

Could have gotten it cheaper via uber but first time arriving at night I decided to go for the easiest option.

As far as I could tell the ATMs are located outside and upstairs. You will have to walk past the taxi mafia and pull out money while in gen pop. If there was another ATM before the exit I didn't see it. That said I took reals back with me so I can hit the ground running next time.

Tip: I mostly used bradesco ATMs. When pulling out money there is a section where it asks if you accept the shitty conversion. You can say no and it will still let you pull out money (thanks michalsamual!

Ok time for the girls.

I don't remember prices so Ill just mention if you're able to get your willy wet for under or over 500 reals at these spots.

This is a tier 1 terma / boate (still dunno the difference).

A dude gives you a card as you walk in. Go upstairs and hand them the card and they will give you a wristband with a number. The chubby blond person (still dunno their gender) with a little pony tail speaks good English if you have any questions. Everything you do there will be added to the tab of your bracelet. You pay when you are ready to leave. Make sure you keep the receipt. You need it to exit.

Wide variety of girls of different sizes, colors. Looks range from about 7-10.

I went about four (didn't plan this LOL) times. Each time I sessioned. Each session was satisfactory-good.

Under 500.

Small terma around the corner from 4 x4.

Much smaller fewer selection of girls.

It had a better base room than 4 x 4, perola negra, Eden spa, and any of the central prives. It was pretty surprising.

Few girls the night I went but did manage to session.

Given the distance and small options.

Went twice. Nice large space.

I didn't session either time but that was not for any issue with the place.

If you like spinners this is the place to be. First time I went there was about a half dozen.

The next time well over a dozen.

Two things I don't like about it. 1. its far as fuck2. The girls chain smoke like its 1942. Seriously.

It. Was. Nonstop. Smoking.

While I didn't session here I did peek the price.

Under 500.

Given how far it is and all the smoking yet hot girls.

Perola Negra.

Went to this place three times sessioned twice.

Only one session was good.

The thing I found with this place is its typically filled with a lot of local guys.

They will harbor shark the prettiest girls for hours and hours without ever sessioning with them or allowing them to. I get it they live there no pressure. If you are visiting tho your time is limited.

That if there were a ton of great looking girls this wouldn't be an issue. Sadly there are not. Mostly 5-7's.

If you see a good looking girl here grab her. I learned. On my third trip I walked thru the door. Spotted a girl. Took her upstairs. Left five min after I was done.

Also note that while the prices here are set by the house the girls do have some agency. The girls can't overcharge you but they can do things like refuse to go with you for less than xyz time or have a minimum sized room they will session in. They may do this because they want a certain amount of money or to turn off customers they don't want to session with. In any case this happened to both me and my wingman.

The space itself is big. It has a nice patio to get away from the music. I wish Paris cafe had this to get away from the smoke.

Its not super far and it does have a fair amount of women. Can get your willy wet for under 500.

Rua JJ Seabra, 21.

The smallest of the termas / boates I visited.

The women here are dressed nicely and well put together. Looks slightly above the other terms. Imo none was under a 7. That said it was about the end of the appeal for me. I don't know for sure but I get the impression this is the kind of place where the girls can refuse certain customers. I counted at least five that avoided eye contact with me when I looked at them. Sure others were pleasant enough but not enough to justify the price IMO.

It will cost north of 500 to get action and probably closer to the 1000 end.

I didn't session here and would not return. It also is not close to copa or centro.

If you're feeling homesick and miss the feeling of chasing after women with dour expressions give this place a shot.

Centro prives.

Time to start comparing to Colombia.

The prives here are very spread out. Many of buildings require ID and / or a photograph to enter. God only knows what database this info is being stored on and for how long and shared with whom. In addition to this many are 20th or higher floor. Rooms can be ok or filthly. Building 33 on 13 de maio looks like a scene out of raid redemption.

Comparing this to Colombian casas. Casas there are typically within a few blocks of each other. No more than one flight of stairs. No fort knox treatment at the door. Usually they just buzz you in and you can be in and out in under 5 minutes if the selection is not to your liking. The casas in Colombia usually have at least 6 girls. No golden girls either.

13 de maio, 33 building.

To enter this building you have to go thru a side alley. If you get lost there may be one of the guys handing out flyers for the casas on 13 de maio itself. Have them guide you up.

Rooms.

2102-only two women both should be retired.

2103 -Best lineup. Filthy rooms.

2107- another retirement home and only two.

3206-decent rooms. Decent line up.

610-only 2 girls available. Neither looked good.

Crazy security on a high floor.

Someone else gave perfect directions " To get to Darkroom, you must go to the 20th floor, then getting off the elevator you go right and you look for the sign that says "Cobertura" follow those red Cobertura signs to a door that leads to a new stairway. Go up those stairs and first door you see you go in. Then you look for the door "Cobertura 6".

Only about 4 girls.

Rooms are decent.

v. Rio Branco, 156 sala 2235.

Another place with crazy convoluted security on a high floor.

About a dozen girls half decent.

Basically a sports bar where a lot of freelancers hang out at night. Avergage looks 5-7's.

I sessioned with one girl I got from here. Lucky me she was a gold star. It was her first day in rio. She claims I was the first client she ever had. When it came time to discuss price she had to ask to wing woman if she was giving me the right price. I can see it being a nice pick up place on a lazy Sunday.

A step up from the centro prives. Reminds me more of a Colombia casa. Easy in easy out. Wider selection. Shift changes till evening. Decent rooms.

This was my go to in copa.

401 had the better looking girls imo. I never sessioned with girls in 302.

Sala 206 Av. Nossa Sra. De Copacabana, 583.

Dunno the name of this place. About 6 girls. Only two doable.

It seemed to be run by rookies. Not professional at all. Filthy rooms like a centro prive.

Best bet here IMO is to get a number and session with her outside of this place.

This was my shining star. I wish I spent less time in centro and more on this website.

The thing with this kinds sight is for better or for worse you cut the middle man out.

Both you and the girl are assuming a bit of risk you otherwise may not when going to a terma, prive.

For her the better is she is getting all the money and probably a bit more agency.

The risk is the dude could be a maniac. Almost any man can fuck up any woman easily with his bare hands.

Some of these girls probably have weapons or share a place with someone to mitigate the risk a bit.

This leads me into the risk for the fellas doing incall. While you are there dining at the why the another person can shank you or the girl herself can attack you or there may not even be a girl at all. She could also say you "violated" her and shake you down for money or call the police. Yeah I may be paranoid but I think these are valid things to consider. My suggestion is if you see a girl you like on there check to see if she has been reviewed on gparena.

Now the benefits to having a girl off the website is they seem more relaxed imo. The are not watching the clock as hard. No bell ringing or knocking at the door. I think these types of sessions shine the most on repeat visits after some trust is established.

Anyhow I did four incall sessions this way. Prices ranged from 100 reals to 500 reals. Guess which session was the best? Yup the 100. YMMV.

General impressions of Rio while it is nice and there is a lot of action one thing that stood out to me is the palpable on edge and tense feeling. If you don't get what I mean imagine superimposing all the fort knox buildings, military police roaming all over the place with road blocks (we did get caught in one one night). Over a beach city like miami or maybe even Pattaya. It would instantly stand out.

Aside from this food was ok. Weather was not too hot. It was fairly easy to get around by uber. I didn't try 99. Some people swear by it. Others told me only use it if your ok being taken to a favela and beheaded.

Would I return to RJ?

Yes.

I'd like to visit SP first tho.

While I didn't session with her I did see her in 206. Nice looking girl.

I spent 4 months in Rio from November 2022 till February 2023. I didn't discover this treasure trove of information here until I left so didn't get to partake in any of the more adventurous activities I'm seeing mentioned here E. G. Centro prives. I'm back for another 4 months from next week and something tells me this time will be more interesting!

So I kept things very vanilla. I was told about 4 x4 on my very first day kkkkkk. This became a regular trip for me probably over 15 x during the 4 months. I visited some other termas towards the end of my 4 months where I thought the quality of girls was much better eE. G. Perola Negra stands out (though I only went once so maybe got lucky).

4 x 4.

A lot has been written here already. I would say the best thing about this is being able to really enjoy your time with the girls before going to the room. The problem with that is also that some guys can hog girls for a long time without going to a room and I have left empty handed if the 1 or 2 I was interested in were sitting with dodgy-looking groups of guys at the opposite end of the bar.

Overall a very easy operation. They take card which was great as I had a real nightmare taking out more than a small amount of BRL cash per day.

They do try and scam you even on small things like an extra drink which is annoying even after I had visited so many times.

Girls who I saw mostly had a good attitude. Would get into a shower and they would come and get on their knees whilst I was in the shower and get started. Without me having to ask. Sex varied from unbelievable to completely robotic / clock-watching etc. Overall would say I think I saw 8 girls (as some repeat during the 15 visits and twice saw 2 in the same day as well).

By far and away my favourite was Nina. She had just started this work I think she was a university student. Tall, slim brunette who was very giving and submissive. I saw her probably 4 or 5 times. I took her number to see her outside but she was charging even more to meet outside so didn't see the point as in 4 x4 could enjoy playing with her before could get to the room etc so seemed to make more sense. She was a history student or something I think. Tried getting in touch with her actually now that I'm coming back but she is no longer using that number it seems. Anyone else see her? Probably my favourite girl I've ever seen in terms of P4 P kkkk.

I saw 3 girls on this. Is very different to Seeking in the US where you are spoiled for choice. Here you have to wait forever for girls to respond I don't think they use it too much here.

I saw 2 girls on multiple occasions. The one who I saw once was a dream (she also asked for a lot which I stupidly gave. C4,500 BRL for the night- could have had 10 girls from 4 x4 for that price). She was only in Rio for 1 month she said as she lives in Lisbon (not sure if that is the going rate in Lisbon as that seems crazy to me. Those are the highest end of the spectrum prices in the US). I know was stupid but was during my first weekend in Rio and didn't realize that the whole city practically shut down then including termas.

The other 2 I saw from SA didn't even ask for money upfront on the phone. When we went to dinner one asked for 1,500 brl per night. The other didn't even ask for a specific sum at all the first night. I gave her 800 as she was leaving and she seemed very happy with that. I would give her 800 every night we met after that and pay for her uber (she lived very far in Campo Grande so was actually like an extra 200 each time which is crazy). She even invited me to join her at a university party which was pretty crazy being in a party with people 30 years younger than me and this being totally accepted by her friends (at least to my face kkkk). One thing I liked about all 3 SA girls is they are crazy submissive. Also liked in general how obsessed with hygiene rio girls are. Though some may get annoyed of the constant 20 minute showers girls took between rounds (no joke).

In terms of other stuff. Food great but surprisingly pricy (maybe I was at the touristy places. I stayed the entire time in Ipanema).

Would say Rio was middle of the spectrum in terms of experiences I've had elsewhere- Nina from 4 x4 probably being the exception would be interested to hear if anyone else met that beauty.

Boates and prives charge more than 5 years ago but it helps the real is almost 5 x1. They have providers for every budget. I think Your biggest expenditures is lodging, airfare, and entertainment. Ride hail apps are not too bad or the Metro. Depending where you fly from it can be over $1 k for airfare. I probably won't re-up on my visa. I consider Brazil economical but there are other cheaper Latin American options like Mexico and Colombia DR. For long trips Asia is worth the jet lag and a better bang for your buck if you are into SE Asian women. Brazil does not compete with SE Asia for value even though $400 Asian tix from W Coast disappeared with the pandemic.

Saw 10 girls in the lounge area, might have been a couple more elsewhere, even on what is supposed to be one of the best nights for termas. Maybe 10-12 customers. One girl did a semi-strip tease (only took off bra) while I was there. Girls were typical prive girls. No comparison to 4 x4 in terms of quantity and quality of girls. No need to go back.

I struck out at 4 x4 with a raven haired 20 year old at 4 x4. She declined my drink offer and there was a language barrier. Figured I would check out Mosaico since I wasn't too far away and some vets recommended it. Got there before midnight. The 5 girls sitting on the outside watched me hard since they knew I was new. Bought the first girl that approached an expensive drink. This place is cheaper than 4 x4. Girls are R180. After declining to go to the room with her or her friend they try to milk me for more expensive drinks but I settled my bill and left. The girls probably were bangable 10 years ago and the bad tattoos. The 10 girls working before midnight were marginally better than trash prices. I probably could've found a diamond in the rough in VM. I wouldn't consider anyone in the lineup a 7. I'm starting to figure quality fell off in RJ even though I have not been high roller establishments. Hopefully tomorrow is better.
