Medellin Reports

On Saturday and Sunday night I went to Lleras. Went to a few different bars near Paris hotel. Saw a couple decent girls nothing outstanding. The funniest shit happened. On Saturday night I asked a girl how much she charges she quoted me 550 usd. I said dollars in US and told her how much in pesos she said 1. 5 million. I said no and she asked me how much I want to pay I said have a good night and walked away. This is where it gets even funnier. On Sunday night I stopped into Hacienda. About 15 prepagos walking around. So I converse with this chica and asked her how much to have some fun tonight. Wouldn't you know it she quoted me $550 usd again lmao. I spoke with her in Spanish said come on be realistic. And I just walked away. Is some idiot paying these prices and word is getting around? Lmao. Not to mention I had no intention on banging these girls. Just small talk and a little dancing. I think the girls or some of the guys have lost their minds.

Medellin is being invaded by morons with lots of disposable income. The same thing happened in Rio de Janeiro during the Help heydays (May it rest in peace). I would never tell someone how to spend their money, but, damn! Are you f*king kidding me? No one goes to a fast food restaurant and spend $100 for a soft drink. No way to justify this level of irresponsibility. Expect the $1,000 usd request real soon. It's coming lmao!

My assumption is that one or 2 girls they know in this bizz got that kind of money and are trying to hit the jackpot. But once they spit out a dumb number like that regardless if they are hot or not I'm turned off and too late to negotiate.

Well, I finally made it. With work obligations I haven't had enough time to sit around and anticipate this trip. However, I must say after reading up on the boards for several weeks I was excited the day had come.

First off, just a little note about the airport process and catching a ride to El Poblado. I arrived around 5 pm and the only people going through customs was our flight. I was through the entire process in under 10 minutes. I attempted to use Uber but had 2 people cancel on me. I decided to go with the white taxi. Weather was nasty and the drive took about 50 minutes to get to the Marriott. Total flat rate was 75,000 and I tipped 10,000. Got settled in the room and waited for the storm to pass. What I'm about to share with you I wouldn't recommend anyone else in their right mind attempt if you are solo. With very little Spanish and my phone to help translate, I decided to head to Conejitas. If you do decide to go here don't say Playmates Bar show as even the locals on the street didn't know that name. Or at least those my driver asked.

As we are driving I start to see the light of Medellin and think oh crap, what am I doing. My driver rode around looking for Playmates and took me down some streets I know I shouldn't have been on. Luckily the windows were limo tint and no one could see the gringo. We finally found the location and paid the fare of 15 k. I approached the security guard (doorman) and he welcomed me right in. The server? Greeted me and showed me to a table near the stage. My only saving grace here was this guy spoke decent English. My cell service inside the building would not work which means no google translator. He told me the beers were 6,000 and brought me one. He asked if I wanted a girl and I told him I'the like a younger nice looking one. I was a little worried as most of the ladies I had seen up to the point were 5-7's. Merry Christmas to me because he brought me a girl that could have been no more than 22,5 ft 4 at best, and around 110 lbs.

I don't wear jewelry or chains etc. My guess is someone paid it or a group of guys paid this price and word got around.

FYI, you can download Google Translations for spanish (or any other language) for offline use.

Same with Google Maps although the offline Maps are not as detailed with local attractions as the online data.
