If you have already recognized the child as yours, ie. registered in the birth certificate of the child, the child is yours independent if you later on proof with DNA that he/she isn't.

Today is coupon day at Solarium, so I hopped on the 570 bus and got to Solarium at 6:30p. Good ratio as I got into the boite - 25 girls to 10 guys.

When I was in Rio Oct 30 -N0v 12, I arrived for the weekend before their Day of the Dead holiday and walked out of Solarium, MC and Luomo without sessioning. The girls mainly sat around lazily. At Solarium the large room went for R400 for an hour, but it was busy. They wanted to charge me the same price for a smaller room. At 4x4 the girls are energenic and performed well. There you could get a girl for a hour and two drinks for under R300.

r450 = $260.. ouch. for 40 mins!! well you might as well get a fine helpee girl all night for r250 to 300. centarus does not make sense to me. sounds like only the rich locals can go there. i went to monte carlo last year and remember paying us $160 for 40min ($ was worth lot more towards end of 2008 though).

After a stop at 4x4, a few buddies and myself went to Solarium. There were quite a few women in 4x4 but nothing moved me enough for a session.

Solarium is smaller but I would say the overall quality of the women there was a bit better than at 4x4. Not as many locals there flexing their muscles. It's easy to get these girls to visit your apartment. For the same price or little less you could get a termas girl for more hours, by her visiting you. You are right, but only up to a point. There will come a time when, if they keep raising prices, some customers will be driven away. These guys won't stop paying for pussy, they'll just start paying for it elsewhere, by which I mean other countries than Brazil.

I think the history of the legalized brothels in Nevada over the past 30 or so years might be a harbinger of what might happen in Rio. When I first started patronizing Reno brothels with some frequency in the early 1980's, a basic BBBJ and BBFS (this was before Aids awareness became prevalent) cost $25. If you wanted some extras like DATY or multiple positions, the cost was $50. Prices were set by the house. If you wanted "specialized" services, prices could be negotiated, but you would never pay over $100, tops. It was a monger's paradise, and there were throngs of customers.

I then moved to another part of the country. I came back to Reno in 1987 to visit and of course went to a brothel. I was shocked to find that the base price for a BJ and fuck had risen to $300, and they wouldn't budge from this. Moreover, condoms had become mandatory by state law for all sex acts, even a BJ. I paid the $300 for lackluster sex with a gorgeous girl with an attitude, and I didn't go back. I also noticed that there were very few customers.

But the only people who have to keep going to Rio brothels are cariocas, and even they can go to less expensive places like 4x4 or (God forbid!) Vila Mimosa. But gringos have other options. I have mongered all over Latin America and can vouch for the fact that there are many places where you can quality girls and excellent service for a fraction of what people seem to be paying in Rio: Costa Rica, Colombia, and, especially cheap, Ecuador, El Salvador, Uruguay, and Paraguay (absolutely the cheapest, but hard to get to). True, none of these places are as attractive as Rio and don't have the same amenities, but if you have already sampled what Rio has to offer and are just looking for pussy, I recommend trying these other venues. Even Buenos Aires, although not exactly cheap, might provide a balance between a cosmopolitan atmosphere and reasonable prices.

I'll be back in Rio in April just for a few days and will be able to assess the scene for myself. But from what I've been reading here, things look dismal.

I agree with Lorenzo, if they will keep on raise in price, they will have customers as far as suddenly there will be a lack of customers and termas will stop to look as attractive as it was before.

Consider for example me, in 2009 I went to Rio 3 times, I will be there one time in january, but probably if I will not find a good alternative, it will be one time in all 2010 year.

Not cause I cannot afford to pay a little more, but cause I will start to search and to go to other places and countries.

Consider also the example of Centaurus, it is the only one terma every taxi driver suggests to gringo, but high prices and more than one girl move to another terma and even the girls there, january 2009, were pretty nervous and said the business was very slow. Solarium is gonna to take a risk raising price, cause if L'uomo and MC are now slow business, then who will go until jardino botanico ?!?
