I don't mind if someone occasionally overpays. The bargirls talk about their windfall, the story eventually makes it back to Isaan, and ladies getting by marginally in the village hear the story and take the bus to Pattaya.
What bothers me are the long distance sponsors who throw money at bargirls so they go back to the village.
Overpaying brings ladies to Pattaya, but sponsorship drives them away.
