Those who ask for topups are definitely cons so forget about them. Also, those who put in unbelievable sexy pictures and sexual remarks are mostly cons as well.

There are genuine ones though and I'm not talking about FLs where you'd have to pay for it. You wouldn't even expect the girl to be THAT sort of girl until you get to know the person. Happened to me. Liaised with a 25 year old working gal which started out from the Friendster's PM service, later moved on to YM, then sms then met in person when she came to Kedah (her hometown).
