Its become an emotional support line here
I'll be on the ground after 4 years of covid break (and a hop over to Makati, still with facemasks last July).
Facemasks are still required on all PAL and CP flights, both overseas and domestic. No idea why this still exists, and there is no warning of this until they start the boarding process: "Don't forget all passengers must wear a facemask to board and for the duration of our flight". This comes just after: "Ladies and gentlemen, boarding for flight PR-321 will begin now, please line up to the left of the podium".
On a recent long-haul PAL flight, this was not announced until after people were boarding. We had all lined up when the announcement was made. Several of us did not bring a mask to the airport. PAL personnel provided masks to us.
On a more recent CP domestic flight, the same announcement came (after boarding had begun). I was in the pre-boarding line as I had spent extra for that for me and my girl. An elderly gent more forward in the line said he didn't have a mask. CP employee: "You try a gift shop". He literally gave up his place in line to go shopping for a 10-peso facemask. What if the gift shop doesn't have any stock? My girl and I also didn't have masks, so I handed her p100 and told her to hustle over to a nearby gift shop and buy two. Everything worked out. My point is: There was nothing on any website that said: "We are still in Covid-restricted status. All passengers must wear a mask onboard", or such.
Another Covid holdover: You might (still) be required to show your vaccine card at certain places. I was recently denied entry to a government building here because I didn't have a vax card on my person. Mine was never issued as a physical card. At the time in Manila, you had to pre-register an appointment date on an app. Once you received your QR code you uploaded your picture. They sent you a vax card image with your pic and QR code that was otherwise empty. You showed up at your determined location and showed this (on your phone) and got vaxed. Immediately your vax card image on your phone refreshed and it showed your vax date and location. All good, except its electronic. I screen-captured it way back when, and showed it when it was requested (had to show it for more than a year just to enter any Starbucks or Coffee Bean here). However that was not good enough recently to enter a government building. "You go make a photocopy of that and return sir". You MUST be kidding, ma'am.
I think we posted data on the board back then, data that showed vaccines effectiveness wears off quickly, in a matter of 5-8 months (faster the older you are, for elderly people they are effective for just a few months). Hence the need for boosters and such. The majority of the country's vaccinations were done in 2021. Doesn't that make them all outdated, and vax cards meaningless?
It makes superstitious people feel better. Rant off.
These are the questions I ask. . .
Please be reminded that ISG offers an 'Ignore List' in settings. The Ignore list means that Sailor Jack can avoid seeing NonSense from senior troll NoShow. Except when you re-post it. Do not feed the troll.
He's on my Ignore list also. On occasion I see his writings when others quote him. I'm ambivalent of his posts, as sometimes I find them accurate when my boots are on the ground.
Need go salon.
Go back black hair.
Most Swabbies get it, but just in case, Sailor Jack will explain. K2 wants Sailor Jack to fuck her in the ass so she can afford to color her hair back to black.
Interesting. I see from a recently quoted NS missive, that NS has an opinion on SJ's wench. NS has been suggestive to the gents that we post pictures of bar conquests so he can decide if they are up to his standard. Yet as he is a non-poster of pics, and says he does not barfine (nothing wrong with not barfining), isn't it hypocritical of him to judge other's pics? Khan, Oppenheimer, Hitler, Jobs, Musk, and Slapper: They all danced on the edge.
A sachet of black hair coloring can be had for p50. It can be done in a salon for a few hundred pesos. If a booby critter (chubby or not) offers to let you push her stool in, in exchange for hair coloring, you'd have to be crazy not to do it?
Has a girl ever skipped coloring her hair to go to the gym?
