She had bought her own house outside Manila and I was able to afford to live in the Philippines without worrying about finding work. I agree with most of the advice others have offered here. However, I would not go as far as to say never go to Philippines. With the number of foreigners traveling in and out of the country every day, it would be very difficult (if not impossible) for the girl, her husband, bf, pimp or anyone else to spot you.
