I think it went all the way up to federal court but in the end they lost. Considering how slow they build in Switzerland it will take several years until they finish the buildings.

I am not sure that Globe will have to move out, not long ago there was a new brothel in Zurich central high end area, 5 minutes walk to the lake, opera etc. It was as well in zone for mixed use (residential-commercial).

Considering the appetite for investment that Globe management has, my guess is that they will stay there as long as possible. For Schwerzenbach the Globe tax money is some serious cash.

I hope I am proven wrong and they make a brand new big club in the Zurich area.

If brothel was there before, which globe was, they should not be legally oblige to move out. If it is other way round, it is different story.
