Stayed a couple of days recently at the Ruahmchitt hotel in Bangkok.
Was lacy so just went down to Thermae for pick-ups. Hard to come below 3000 Bath.
Age was also hard to find in lower twenties.
Is there other places like Thermae in Bangkok packed with freelancers but cheaper and if possible 20?

Or how does it works if you find a bar girl / gogo girl with a number batch. Do they offer ST or LT hotel services.

Thermae used to be a wonderful place. I must have taken over 200 plus gals from there from 99 till about 07. Never paid more than 1 k ST. And it used to be a fun place as well with gals dancing by the juke box and most all of them drinking as well. They would walk up and grab your crotch, talk dirty, want to drink and party. Now they simple stand like zoo animals on display while the Japanese take laps around the place like horses past their prime on a track. Sad really. Both the cost and the absence of fun. Along with the original Martini's in Nom Pehn, it was one of the great bars in Asia. Kind of funny how when prices increase the fun level decreases, eh?
And dudes will continue to pay more and we will all have less fun.

It was like a set from a movie. Guys all chatting amongst themselves at the bar, and girls standing like mannequins. The only thing moving were their eyes.
Used to be great and fun. But long long long gone.

I've seen many at the Nana Hotel Parking Lot who looked about 18 & it turns out they're 5 or 10 years older.

In my visits I've certainly never been offered any, and would be unlikely to trust a Thai to get me some 420 action in any event.
If this story is true, this bloke must have some guts. If there was one thing I wouldn't do in Thailand, it would be involving one's self in drugs. And I'm no prude by anyone's standards, trust me.

I used to use the old location Thermae from about 1991, but had only limited stay in Thailand in those years. I had fairly weak Thai language skills at that time. It was fun to find some good amateur hookers. By this, I mean girls with other types of work who were trying to make some extra on the side to make ends meet, afford a trip up country, or whatever. These girls often worked low paid jobs like shop assistants, hotel maids, switchboard operators, waitresses, etc. Some quite pretty girls available.
Met some really fun girls, also some very sweet girls, mostly they could not speak English at all well, so I got to practice my Thai speaking. Most confusing of all were girls who spoke a mixture of Thai and English, like one who would insert English pronouns "I" and "You" into a Thai sentence.
There was also "The Grace Coffee Shop" in competition with the Thermae, but a different mix of girls (less slim girls), and not as good.
I used to also attend the Thermae Soapy massage upstairs which was quite small but had a few hot girls. It was way better than the competition Darling in those days, for girl talent. Annies I did not try at that time.
I never had that much experience with the new relocated Thermae. Probably due to having a GF, and limited opportunity, and then when did try years later, wasn't the same. I recall not finding a girl inside (pretty late) one day and taking one from outside at the front. Maybe some girls were already oriented toward Japanese.

I hate getting mistaken for a hippy.

I saw a bargirl Crazy House (ex-Doll House) "Chocolat" at 2 am walking hand in hand with a Thai boy, not seeming to care if any of her customers saw her. I maybe biased / discriminatory, but I prefer Thai girls who don't have a BF potentially leaching off them. May not be the case every time, but one has to be suspicious.
Crazy House is a strange case as most of serving staff are girls or ladyboys. Still the odd Thai male staff but not too many fortunately. I like that they dispensed with having an older Thai guy manning the toilet to collect tips. Recently saw him hanging around Asoke entrance to Cowboy, not sure what he is doing there. Probably looking to take Farangs to special places.

One girl in Suzi Wong, mentioned before in posts, still works in the bar as has apartment and maybe car paid for by some Farang BF, who often isn't there, but not receiving enough money. She isn't even good looking to my taste. She picked up some fancy Thai boy, who then bashes her when she doesn't give him money. One time she could not come to work due to bruises. Why do working girls pick up such guys on drugs, etc. ? Its mystifying. The key point is one loses all respect for such girls.
There are other working girls financing gambling habits of some close family member, be it parent or brother. Some of these seem like nice girls, but cannot get a permanent good man, because stuck with supporting a bad family.

do they make any money or get much benefit from road traffic violations (apart from the usual speed-trap operations etc which provide bribes) or the thieves, wife-beaters etc? no, or at least not as much as they make with so-called vice crackdowns. it is why they put so much effort into it.
Seemed to be little or no Police presence in Cowboy last two nights. Nude dancing, and naughty shows returned to the bars. Someone said their bar was recently visited by the army. Not sure if that is relevant. Bars seemed back to normal, except I am not what time they would close. 2AM is generally late enough for me.
Sukhumvit and Asoke full of outdoor illegal bars, not sure what time they open. Don't seem to have been suppressed much.

Of course nearly all will say that they don't but they do. I know only of one girl in Rainbow 3 who will tell the customer that she can't do Long Time because she has a BF waiting for her. Let's face it these girls are prime targets for leeching boyfriends, they have more money than any other girls in Thailand, are sexually available and love to party. Exactly the kind of girls they want. A lot of these guys work, if they work at all, around the girls as either dj's, security, servers or motorcycle drivers. If you get on to the Facebook pages of many of these girls they will have photos of their BF's and children. I recall all too well when I had one girl over with her friend and she sort of said she wanted so see more of me and I told her she had a BF. "Noooo. Not me! Never" I told her I had seen him many times on her FB page. Oops. The look between the two friends was classic. Caught!
I have gotten to know one girl pretty well who works in a gogo and she went through every girl in the place and told me where their BF's work. Or Toms which a lot more have than you might expect. Nearly all worked around Nana Plaza. Of course she is the only girl who doesn't have one! And I think we can all assume that condoms are rarely used which is why so many of these girls get knocked up sooner or later.
