OK before I get to the festivities, a couple of things for the traveling monger. To get to this place, after you find it on Google maps so you know the address and that it's right at the end of the checkerboard sidewalk, Gen Jardim #242. The outside wall is red with 242 painted in black with a light brown door. The easiest way from Republica metro stop is to look around inside for the Centro de Campos exit. Up the stairs, across Republica street at the crosswalk, bear left for 1/2 block then right. First street right is Gen Jardim. About 3 blocks down and you are there.
When I walk up to the door, Rose had a man taking the cover charge and handing out a green reciept / ticket. What it was for I'm not sure, but when ever I got a drink or got one for a girl they took it for a while and brought it back. When I left the guy at the door wanted it back. I told him I thought I dropped it and gave him the "shrugged shoulders" I have no clue salute. He accepted that and off I went. Sometimes I think no English can work in the stupid American's favor.
Inside Rose had the place decorated with old vinyl LP's from the ceiling, balloons and two new couches from the last time I was there. I met the ladies one by one and I was impressed. Different from Redway, where it seems they stress light skinned beauties, FA has more dark skinned loveliness. I love young dark skinned hotties so I was pleased. I had the advantage of knowing ABG and met a kind young man who wanted to practice his English so I got a translator who knew the girls well. He asked if I liked blowjobs. A long story short about 1700 more people showed up and some of the girls started taking of clothes. So I guess the moral is, if a party says it starts at 1500 show up about 1630. Rose had cold beer, a soda of some kind and a big plate of sausage and chicken munchies she passed around.

I've read comments about this venue on several Brazilian forums and frankly I was not really impressed. So far, I have never had a session in a trash privê (even if I have visited many over the years) and I don't think I'm ready for this. I doubt that we can find very good looking garotas down there but I will pay a visit to this privê just in order to see what it looks like.
The cleanliness of the premisses is very important for me and I'm sure that I would have difficulty to sleep in a small cubicule with dirty sheets. I've choose Liberdade as my landing point because it's close to the blue line metro line, I had the opportunity to have a deal in that bairro, it's not far from Casas das Rosas on Avenida Paulista (where I have some work to do) and I wanted to experience a new bairro (after 7 years ina row in Moema).
The choice of Liberdade was also determined by the photos sessions I'd like to do in Parque the Aclimação and in Cambuci. My intent is too track tags (pixaçoes) that were done by Os Gêmeos (the Pandolfo brothers). Some people have warmed me against visiting these barrios but I'd like to do it in broad daylight. I'm currently working on a book in streetart in São Paulo and I must visit the places that are covered with pichaçoes) besides places where I can find tags and other form of street art (such as O beco do Batman in Vila Madalena, that I visited last year. I have thousands of pictures so far of exhibits of street art that are characteristic of Sampa.
