Escorting is also illegal in the US. The other thing is a lot of escorts in the US hide their face. I can understand that. I would do the same if I was an escort, but paying USD1500 an hour seems like quite a gamble to take on someone who's face you haven't seen, especially when the face plays a big part in the experience, IMO.

Escorting and even prostitution are not illegal in France where clients can be prosecuted, but no big risk with escorts. Biggest risk for me is so many disappointing fake profiles with girls much less attractive for real than on photos, so I gave up, too bored to leave on door opening. I hate to waste my money. Until the law changed, it was so easy to find quality non-pro women. Now, I think there are probably more students and single mothers doing sex work in France, but they're doing so through sugar dating / arrangements, or OnlyFans. What's left is unsavory South American and Eastern Europeans who provide bad service / bait and switch.
