Yes, the girls in Manila are more sophisticated than the girls in AC. Their english is better. And yes they are less likely to be working girls. But whether they are working or not, you will end up spending more money on them than if you go to AC. The hottest and most sophisticated and well spoken philippina I've ever met was from AC. But that was an exception. If I ever retire in PH it will probably be in Manila with AC weekend trips. But, there's a reason I've decided to skip Manila on my recent trips. AC is fun and there are plenty of options, for free, or if not, at a reasonable price, for their time of course.

Reported to me that many customers are trying to BF the waitresses for the lowered rate of 3000. One girl told me a customer was ready to BF her and then backed out when he heard 5 k.

Since covid, bars are lowering the girl's amount towards 45%, and they will probably experiment towards 40%. The only good news for the girls is that the barfine amount is now higher. Pre-covid she was getting 50% of 2000 (p1000 to the girl) to 3000 (1500 to the girl). She is now getting p1850 or more (good for the girl, even better for the bar). As Koreans continue to increase their market share of the customers, don't be surprised if owners continue to experiment.

Maybe the 5 k price is their way of not getting barfined. I did see a girl from Shooters who I barfined for 4 k who's now working over at Lucifers now asking for 5 k. Again maybe to keep guys from taking her. Now the last argument was girls in white or red bikinis were 3500, girls in black were 4000. Now all of the dancers are wearing green arm bands so we can quit that bikini color argument.

On a side subject I bought a waitress a drink and she said she hated working in the bar. Said she's starting her own business so I asked what kind of business. She couldn't explain the business but said something like its a travel discount program and if you sign up to their program she gets $100 usd. Now I had to explain to her that if she got $100 usd then the guy running the business has to get a bigger chunk of money. Then tried to explain that as a foreigner I wouldn't be giving any large chunks of money away like that. The twist was some foreigner from the US gave her the gcash to send in the money. My bet is he just sent it back to himself. So she has the feeling the business is legit. What a strange business concept they have here in the Philippines.

And in general, what is a good way to withdraw money or transfer money to the philippines peso?
I even thought about sending money to myself through western union, but I don't know if it's a good way or not?
Its funny how some of the absent want to be experts are all over this board quoting xyz as gospel.
Where did they get their information, well it seems that some beleive and repeat online as supposed truth every word from a pinay prostitute mouth.
Now anyone that's has ever visited the pi bars knows that when a pinay pros lips are moving she is 99% lying.
Whats happening to the wolfpack bars, which are 7 bars in total, well the barfines will range from 3,000 peso for the ugly old fatties right up to 6,000 peso for anything ok looking working in the wolfpack korean oriented bars, talk of the ceiling by some being 5,000 peso is wrong, hence why believing pros nonsence is never advisable.
The money split between the bar, mama and girls has also been quoted here wrong.
The split off money is as follows, mama 300 peso, the remainder to be split 50/50 between girl and bar.
Many, many western expat friends that live here have boycotted the bars with higher barfines, it was almost impossible to find a decent looking girl in the western bars before the higher prices and now with the increase it seems even less incentive to visit such.
The western bars these last couple of day have been quiet to say the least, the korean oriented bars seem about the same number of asian punters as before, especially the weekends.
Time will tell if the wolfpack bars have shot themselves in the foot or not.

I don't know how much a meal deal at Jollibee is![/QUOTE]Girls in makati and manila in general have for the last 10 odd years been slimmer, prettier, younger and generally taller with lighter skin, but wait that all comes at a price, average plumper freelancers 3,000 pesos one pop, best looking bar girls (asian guys only) are obviously the highest price the girl can get, mostly by the time one has had a beer, bought 1 lady drink paid the bar and the girl separately think of 10,000 peso as starters.
Angeles as a westerner is just ok if one is easily pleased, can't be compared to pattaya or Bangkok in any way shape or form for the amount of available girls or their quality, remember in angeles the whole amount including the bar and girls share is paid up front at the bar opening up the possibility of poor experience and early runners as has been reported by many.
Please let us know your views if and when you do make a pi visit.

The Koreans have many avenues indeed to meet girls, they have dedicated online member sites, they have girls delivered by van directly from the bars to the hotel by Asian middle men, many of these girls never get to dance in the bars as they are constantly booked by the van delivery service so never seen in the bar.
Lets not forget that many Koreans own Angeles companies / shops / restaurants work for overseas companies, many Koreans are young in age, easy with their money, and therefore can attract many pinays that might not work in the bar industry.
In truth, Angeles has become a Korean town plain and simple IMHO.

The earth's circumference is 24,901 miles. London to Manila is 6666 miles. So a round trip is more than half the circumference of the world. Is it worth it to fly all that just to bonk a simpleton?
Chicago is 8125 miles and SF is 6963 miles.

In the old days, HSBC had a large withdrawal limit. But there's none in Angeles. There's some in Manila.

For Western Union, you get a good exchange rate if you transfer bank to bank. Hence you need to open up a Philippine bank account.
