I recently checked out the Penthouse on Pitt Street in the CBD area for the first time. This is a brothel place with a bar, lounge area. There are about 11 rooms with about 15 girls working that night.

The good thing about this place, I was told,is that you can hang out by the bar area, size up the girl first before having to make a decision. I heard over at Tiffany, they line up the girls and you have to make a decision there at the line up.

My advice to travellers would be not to bother with Kings Cross, the inner suburbs of Sydney of the northern suburbs. The vast majority of places are WAY over priced. Try getting a newspaper or phone book and seeking out places in the suburbs - there are plenty, and they are usually half to a third (or less) of what you will pay in the city areas. The girls are just as good, and often more friendly. The Cross, Surry Hills etc is way too cliche.... don't bother, seriously.
