Any latest info on getting laid in Vanuatu? All posts seem old.

MP's:

It's 2026 now, and I originally shared this back in 2013. I was 19 at the time, living mostly on Pentecost Island with occasional trips back to Port Vila and Santo. These days I'm 34 and based in Southeast Asia, and I'the be really interested to hear if anyone has been back to Port Vila, Vanuatu recently and what it's like now. The Chinese were taking control or starting to flood money into the city 13 years ago so I imagine they've achieved quite a level of control by now. I'm hoping to return in the next few years, mostly for the kava. I've become a big kava enthusiast over time and genuinely enjoy it, I've spent time living among Fijians and Ivano-Vanuatu, Tongans, and even Samoans. If you are visiting Vanuatu, don't look down on Kava. Try it and try it several times because it takes some time to get into it but it's well worth it once you realize what it really is.

Looking back, I'm not the same person I was in my early 20's. I'm not as much of a womanizer as I used to be. After years of traveling and living that lifestyle, it just doesn't hold the same appeal anymore. You do eventually get bored of it. That said, I'm not pretending I've completely stopped, just that it's far less frequent now.

I still sometimes think about a girl I met back then, in 2013. Her name was Vanessa. After the third time we met, she was really pushing for me to speak to her father. I was 19 and clearly not looking for anything serious. Not long after, I went back to Pentecost without telling her where I was going, deleted her number, and cut contact completely. I remember even feeling slightly worried that her family might somehow track me down.

Strange memories to look back on now. I just hope her family didn't treat her too harshly because of me, and that she's gone on to have a happy life. Funny how much your perspective changes over time.
