The locals are, generally speaking ... well ... butt ugly, excuding maybe some exotic cuties, but not enougth to drive the average over the minimum required to catch my interest.

Compared with the bulgarian, the romanians or the ukrainan those girls take a 6-0 6-0 6-0.

''Natasha'' action is, as previously stated, in the Aksaray area.
But the quality is well below average, for the russian standards, and the prices are not so cheap: 100 USD.
The area is very ugly and cops are everywhere making raids.
Haven't tried the Seranda, but the other nightclubs are the worst ripoffs I have ever seen in Europe (40 USD for a coke and a small beer).

So we have:

- inflated prices;
- unsafe areas;
- ripoffs;
- below average locals;
- below average ''natasha''
- apartment and escort scene difficult to find;


IMHO avoid Istanbul if you're in the mood for some *****mongering. Stick with the Czech Rep. or with the Romania instead.

I've been to Istanbul, and I know that like in Western Europa people mostly tend to dress to impress unlike Americans. When you are hunting for a Russian girl in the Aksaray area, say at Seranda, what would be the appropriate dress code not to be spotted as a foreigner right away. How do you dress when you go whoring in this area? Thanks in advance!

You'll be spotted as a tourist in less than a minute I guess.
Or maybe your ancestors were from turkey and you have not changed your clothes a washed your face in the last two weeks.
I'm not saying that all man in turkey are so dirt, but in the Aksaray (not exactly Rodeo Drive boys ...) area this is the average man you spot.

Aksaray is much more like Calcutta than Beverly Hills, I hope you have already understood ...

Where were the places that you say are "unsafe"? I am also planning on travelling to Istanbul soon. I will be touring many places in Europe this summer, Romania, Czech Republic, and Turkey.

How much do you need to spend per day on food?

Do you think this is a nice city to visit if you are meeting a Ukrainian girl and wish to spend some time with her? (She is from Ukraine, I am from USA, and this is the cheapest place for us to meet and very easy for us both to get visa's)

Any places or clubs you suggest going to?

It is true that Aksaray is a fairly bad place, but comparing it to Calcutta is definitely unfair. If you look at the ***** areas in other Meditteranian cities like Naples, on Crete or in Lisbon at the port area, these are even worse than Aksaray.
Of course you have cops in the area and there are several rip-off bars as well. The cops do sometimes raid the bars/discos but they won't touch you (no matter wether you are a tourist or a Turk), they want to catch illegals. Just stay seated, show ur ID and wait for the cops to leave (after 10 minutes or so).
But !!! Aksaray is not an unsafe area !!! You will not get beaten up there, they won't steal your money or rob you. I live in Turkey for 7 years now and have allways been treated with respect.
I have been to one of these rip-offs last year and was seriously dissapointed, but the Seranda is suprisingly different.

Regarding dress code, just shave, wear a jeans and a shirt. You will be spotted as a tourist anyway and if you wear the typical "poor people' s Haute Coiture" which is a an old suit, no tie, open shirt and white socks, you won't be camouflaged at all, they will just call you an idiot.

I have never had the pleasure to pop over to Romania, Bulgaria or the Czech Republic, but some of my Turkish friends do travel to Romania for sex and prefer it to Istanbul. Now, since this page is about Turkey, I can only give you my expirience about Istanbul and Ankara.

Agree local expert ... Aksaray is not Calcutta, but I think you'll agree that is not a beautiful area or with a great scenery and neither a relaxing place where you can enjoy a romantic dinner or some sightseeing with your girlfriend. I have found Istanbul safe, but not relaxing. It's different.
You'll agree that is different to feel safe because cops are everywhere or because streets are "naturally" safe, like in Copenhagen.

It's very difficult to spend more than 20-30$.
But usually I stick with small restaurants or with the food sold on the streets, so I can easily eat (and sometimes splurge) with 10$ a day on average.

Yes.
I'm not a great fun of Istanbul, but Sultanahmet (during the day) and Taksim (during the night) areas are definitely worth the look.

I was in a major hotel in Aksaray and later in a small one in Sultanahmet. Never spotted girls in the lobby.
But maybe you can find them in the Aksaray area.

BananaBoy, I don't know what crack you smoke but the Turkish women I met in Germany can be quite stunning, in fact they are often dropdead gorgeous. Germany has a large Turkish community, if you want to meet a hot Turkish woman, you have to visit Germany, there is no ifs ands or buts about it. Visit an FKK club and you will see what I mean, some of them are attractive at worst and can be dropdead gorgeous at best. I would agree with you that in Turkey itself it is difficult for a guy to find a good looking woman. Then again the place is a poor religous fundamentalist country so what would you expect??? If you go to Greece, there are plenty of beauties but the local ladies seem to have something against prostitution.

I, for myself, stick with long legs, small ankles, round butts and white teeths.
